now this all started around 1:45 last night, here, 1300 block every federal street just off broad. when the relative of one of the two victims first floor apartment, that you are looking at right now, called 191, inside that home, police found a man and his girlfriends dead inside. now investigators not yet released the names of the victim, but spoke with family members identified the couple at 50 year old can license did o gonzalez and his girlfriends who the family identifies as kate. family members saigon valez's mother lives on upper floor of the same apartment building, and around 11:45 p.m. last night she bent downstairs to check on her son. that's when she found him and his girlfriends beaten in their apartment. philadelphia police rushing to the scene and investigators say the apartment a periods to be ransacked, however, there was no obvious sign of entry. police say both gonzalez analyst girlfriends found with breezes to their faces and laying in pools of their own blood in different sections. the victim's conditions inch

more talks. back in our area, federal judge has given the army corpse of engineers the okay to resume june work on margate 's beaches. the army will have to meet several conditions, they're required to fence off the basins, dunes, bulkheads, must also add sands to the area to elevate them. also have to provide elevated walkways and pump out excess water that collects in those areas. also set up a procedure to test the storm water. >> closing arguments are expected today in the trial of a radio station dj, accused of groping pop star taylor swift. dj david mueller said he was fired from his job after swift made those allegations to his radio station. he sued swift, her mother and swift staff member claiming they tried to ruin his career ment last week the judge dismissed the case against taylor swift, but the case against swift's mother and the staff member can proceed. jury has not yet decided on the groping case. >> well, bensalem police are asking for the public's help identifying a theft suspect caught stealing from a hope

partial eclipse here in the philadelphia area. pretty cool event to experience. meteorologist, matt peterson, traveled to one viewing spot in the area gearing up for the stellar occasion. >> the first total solar eclipse since 1979 is just days away. while many people will travel to other parts of the country to see the moon totally block out the sun, we still get pretty good view here in the area. one of the best place toss see is close by, in delaware. the observe tore any greenville, new castle countly have its telescopes ready for the historic event. first solar eclipse to be totally contained in the continental us in almost 100 years, on august 219 moon will pass between the earth and the sun on a track from oregon to south carolina. >> we're orbiting around the sun, the moon orbiting around the earth. but the moon's orbit estimated little bit to respect to where the sun; so every once in a while the moon actually passes >> here in our area, only about 80% of the sun will be covered. but those who see total eclipse will get to view a

fizzle as it tries to head our way. so again later on and specially tonight you may see a shower, but i'm not concerned p that for the rest of the day. in the meantime, off to the south, and specifically out in the open waters of the atlantic, here is gert still churning away as a tropical storm system. so we will take a look at the system, it is coming awfully close now to atlantic coastline, right? good news, looks like it will be kept taught sea, out to sea , put you on this tap here and show you how things are expected to pan out. granted might continue northerly path like trying to clip the carolinas, but expected to make the right-hand turn, briefly, become category one hurricane likely tomorrow, night, as it makes pretty much the closest trek to the atlantic coke line in our area, but then just keep ongoing. even completely bypass atlantic canada. good news for the entire north american coastline, on the eastern side, is that we won't have to deal with this in any direct way. now the pollen levels have started to be aggravating,

ragweed, especially, has really spiked, in recent days, so, in the next couple of days , we don't have any real significant rain coming along, to wash this out of here. if you're an allergy sufferer, jim donovan, you may want to pay attention to this. have your allergy medication ready if you suffer from bad allergies specially ragweed but also grasses and net also in this batch of the most predominant pollen. rest of the afternoon, yes, see the clouds building but actually feels pretty darn comfortable all-in-all if you are going to take the kids out to the park or do anything else the rest of the day. our high hits about 84 degrees in philadelphia, down the shore, look for some sunshine, on the stands we can expect the high to hit around 80 degrees, light winds, not bad, uv index even despite some clouds is still high. remember the uv rear ' can penetrate through the cloud deck, then low risk for rip current, tempted to take a dip at the moment looks cloudy outside beach patrol headquarters in margate, before we went on the airy saw some sun trying to peak through, intermittent, but

he was given radiation, but doctors said it was no use. >> essentially they said he has no time. this is it. and there is no treatment. there is no surgery. there is no radiation. there is nothing we can do. >> but ronnie recovered enough to walk and go to school again and began to focus on his bucket list items, like attending the nba finals, and even getting a letter from president obama. but then his condition declined rapidly again. and he lost his speech and the use of his hands and feet. again, doctors said it was over. ronnie was offered a risky treatment that had not yet been a purchased in the united state. but it was the only hope the family had. saying he didn't qualify for any other kind of treatment. and while treatments continue, and progress is slow, the family says they're now turning their focus to something better. the quality of life over quantity. one of ronnie's favorite pasttimes, watching the simpsons. yep, nothing like a little comedy show, and a little laughter when you have a heavy heart. the family says when you've
