4:45 am
the original bricks as possible, but they also plan on improving drainage on the site as they rebuild. always sad to see when they lovingly care for these places and restore them, and then mother nature comes through, yes. >> did it rain last night? >> in a hands full of spots, yes. we do actually still have a little bit of wet weather out there at the moment. it is rolling through in very scattered fashion. so we're not all getting hit at the same time, but with time, many of us are going to see something out whatever we've got in the weather pattern today. so essentially there is just a disturbance rolling on through , frontal boundery trying to cross through, but getting what hung up. it should clear to the south later tonight. for now you still have to dodge some additional showers along the way if not few thunderstorm, so no major severe weather threat, but because of the clouds, because of the rain, it is really going to hamper any kind of potential to warm up super efficiently, still going to be warm day, but not quite as hot as we've seen in recent days because you won't have that solar angle to work w so meantime, let's take you out, nice wide zoom. take a look at gert, has had a
4:46 am
chance to develop further. it is now a category one hurricane. making it actually the second hurricane that we had had so far for the 2017 atlantic hurricane season. let's see where this track is going. not much change in that regard it is still expected to remain out to sea, which is good news , however, even though it is still taught sea, a lot of times you see indirect impact from systems, and this particular event is going to probably help turn up the surf if you are going to the beach here in the next couple every days, there is possibility that there is some stronger surf, some dangerous rip current, so maybe keep an eye on that, meantime, thankfully the eye of this storm is going to bypass us completely. so that's a good thing, in fact, the entire atlantic canada board is her also going to get bypassed, so just the wake it is shaking out, looks like almost tracing the path of the continent. looking forward, well, tomorrow really is the brightest spot of the pack, also the hot else, where we end up at 90 degrees, we will be in the mid or up over 80s for the rest of the week, at the moment, meisha, it looks
4:47 am
clear, sunny, keep our fingers crossed as we get closer to the big celestial event. >> no doubt about that, fingers crossed indeed. a lot of people looking forwards to seeing that, watching that, thanks so much, katie. good morning, everybody. the vine is closed overnight for that construction project, westbound and eastbound right now, i'm let you know as soon as it clears, still dark, still very earliment not much going on, overnight resurfaced here the eastbound, schuylkill schuylkill, pulled off to the right. you can see the cones in the road. you can also see how many vehicles are traveling through the area. so, i'm not going to say give yourself extra minutes, not yet, but it is one of the areas that does get pretty busy pretty early. ninety-five north between route one and route 332, the right lane compromised hopefully that's starting to hopefully get remedy, maybe even push out of your way. then 422 westbound at route 202 and trooper between route 202 and trooper, left lane compromised. see the crews out, there all of the cones in the road, another area that will get pretty busy. lot of headlights, even tail

4:55 am
>> today we ends up with more unsettled weather than we experienced yesterday. yesterday featured more clouds building than anything, but today, we're going to see frontal boundery trying to cross through it, helps trigger the showers. i don't think you're talking widespread wash out certainly. but this is one of the days,
4:56 am
take the umbrella just to have it as a safety net. we will see showers, or even few thunderstorms rumble through here. really, at any time. for the majority of the day. later tonight it, should begin to clear out. but, for now, not the preallot yes, sir day we've ever seen with all of the cloud cover, and the rain will limit the warmth, only held back to the mid 80s at best throughout the afternoon. later tonight, though, looking better, still pretty mild, still pretty mug that i said. we clear things out and heat up for one day tomorrow, before the potential at least of a few showers return to the forecast specially to rounds out the week and leading to the upcoming weaken, no wash out, but not the best forecast in the world either. >> yes, no, i was was thinking the same thing, good news, i don't know if you like, i know with the fall coming up it, could change, so 90 tomorrow, kind of excited about it what do you think? looking outside, 59 near the betsy ross bridge, looking good. yesterday i would say right around 5:00 right when we enter in the 5:00 start to see things heat up little bit. already, still early, still dark, pushing in the southbound side of 95, we are
4:57 am
starting to see little bit more movement than what we typically do, then we have some construction here, 422 westbound between route 202 and trooper. our crews are still out there working hard, the left lane compromised, you can see the cones in the road. you can also see how many vehicles are trying to squeeze on by there. so again, this is 422 westbound between 202 and trooper, that left lane compromised, and might start to slow you down if crews don't kind of move out of the way. overnight resurfaced project schuylkill eastbound between gulph mills and the conshohocken curve has just been moved out of the way. so actually looking pretty good on the schuylkill all directions, maybe heating up ever so slightly, but you know the deal. vine was closed overnight for the construction project and it looks like we're opening now, both westbound, and eastbound, more to come in the next ten minutes. jim, back over you. >> thank you shall meishament coming up in the next hour of cbs-3 "eyewitness news," live at the scene of apartment fire in northeast philly where several people have been hurt. dozen sense been displays -- displaced. >> could another shake up be coming to the white house? we'll tell you the big names
