that's how the day progresses, you know, pretty much all day long, anything that shows up on the radar will be just like this, scattered in nature. locally steady, notice that, right on the tail end of the loop, west of baltimore, that heavier batch of showers, that's an idea whatever we might see here, locally, in any given location throughout the course of the day. temperatures they stand-off to pretty mild start. humidity creeping up on us, so mid 70s from philly right down to dover, and then a little further to the north and west, it is ever so slightly cooler but mild pretty much everywhere. and, as the day progresses we'll see the temperatures certainly heat up. only so far. it does look as though the clouds, the rain, going to limit the heating this afternoon. but, we're currently anyway in 66 apiece, willow grove, quakertown, doylestown. quickly checking on what the rest of the region has up its sleeve for the rest of the day , everything scattered, showers, thunderstorms, scattered for pretty much everyone. wouldn't call this is the greatest beach day, but at the shore you will at least have some breaks along the way. >> seems little bit of everything, all right, katie,

thank you so much. very good morning to all of you, happy tuesday. we are looking outside at 95 right now, and as you push in the southbound direction, we're starting to see levels build, but maybe even little bit quicker than what we would typically see. it is tuesday. we know mondays and tuesdays tends to be some of our busier travel days of the work week. so just heads up. although everyone clearly still traveling at posted speeds, just seeing little little bit more after push this morning, even in the 4:00 e tipping in the 5:00 hour, start to see things heat up just a little bit more. construction 422 westbound between 202 and trooper, left lane, is compromised and obviously our crews out there working hard for you. as soon as they move out of the way i'll let you know, this is an area that's going to start to get a little busy. see how many vehicles are starting to come through this area already. then, that overnight resurfaced project on the schuylkill, eastbound, between gulph mills and conshohocken curve. the crews there, they've moved out of the way. so actually looking pretty good here both eastbound and westbound. and we're going to be talking about the vine coming up in the next ten minutes, jim,

rahel, back to you. >> new this morning, flames engulf northeast philadelphia apartment building, sending three people to the hospital. and this placing close to 50 other were displaced. >> live at the scene, trang, good morning, what's the latest here? >> reporter: good morning, rahel, jim. those injured people include two people who live in the building as well as one firefighter, in fact officer here on scene tells us one of the injured residents is a woman who had to be revived by cpr. but take a look, very active scene even hours after this fire here at this apartment complex, right next to the northeast airport. now, this fire started just before 12:30 a.m. inside the canterbury court and the on the 9900 block of academy road , firefighters arrived to find heavy fire coming from second story apartment. paramedics transported two people, one person who was inside the apartment, where the fire started, and another person, from an apartment next-door, to area hospitalization. now, medics also transported a firefighter to the hospital, with a minor injury, and all, again, 50 people are displaced this morning.

here. and if it does end up verifying, we could be getting doused across part of south jersey. those of you headed to the shore listen up. storm scan, nice wide zoom. well, there is couple every things. i think it immediately gets drawn to what's happening right here, gert, currently category one hurricane so essentially the way of the atmosphere moving along, helping to keep it out to sea, thank goodness, worse from florida all the way to even past the united states, and past atlantic canada, rougher surf and rip current, another thing that will have impact on beaches, but locally, it is all scattered showers end up with this drenching rain, give or take an our or two, looks like it wants to hang out into the early afternoon, even, so this really makes it a pretty poor

beach day, if this verifies, and keep an eye on the possibility, thinking more than anything, this is the kind of variety of showers you will find across the radar throughout the day, scattered in nature. not everyone getting hit at any given time. could be some embedded thunder or lightning, but not everywhere, even if you do get hit could you get drenched but one of those days that having an umbrella is a good safety net. so you may not need it. just depending where you are. later tonight the skies begin to clear out nicely. it will stay that way courtesy of high pressure into tomorrow. for now though there should be center city skyline, just too much moisture, too much cloud cover that you just can't make any of it out. that looks like little glimmer every maybe liberty place. not sure what that is, part of the center city skyline, never know until the clouds break. low 70s pretty much from philly all the way down to the a.c. expressway i expect only the chance to heat up to 83, with scattered thunderstorm, clouds limiting the warmth. now, tomorrow, yes. warm one. make up for t lots every

in january. but, last night the full regular season schedule for the 76ers was announced, season opens wednesday night, october 18th, in d.c., against john wall and the wizards. two nights later, the sixers will tip off against the boston celtics in south philly the defending nba champion golden state warriors are here november 18th, 9 days later, labron james and the cavaliers come to town, season ends april 11 against the milwaukee bucks. all told they'll play 14 nationally televised games. kids and parents filled rodney square to meet future hall of famer mariano riviera. gave away free back packs full of school supplies to local children in need. the retired yankees closer also tossed little bp for the young student. schools in the wilmington area open on august 28th. so there you go. pretty cool stuff from mariano rivera.
