we will bring you any updates as we get them. well, search is underway in the waters off hawaii, for five crew members of an army helicopter that crashed. the coast guard says the blackhawk helicopter lost communications with an airfield, and then vanished. crews have found parts after fuselage, and a helmet, thus far. several aircraft and boats are being used in the search. philadelphia police release new video after deadly shooting from earlier this year, that they hope will lead to information about a killer. we do want to warn you, you may finds this video disturbing. on march 19, a gunman was seen firing several shots at one of two men, walking on roberts avenue, near green street, in nicetown. police say the shooter fled in a silver mini-van. the victim died at the hospital, the second man was able to get away. if you have any information about the shooting, please contact police. in weather, the humidity is rising, we have a warm rest of the work week on tap, this evening, no exception. meteorologist, lauren casey joins us liver on the cbs-3

skydeck with a look at the somewhat steamy forecast. lauren? >> thanks so much, nicole. yes, summer has returned in full force after unseens seasonably cool start. yesterday, sunshine has returned. and temperatures are soaring up approaching that 90 degrees mark in philadelphia. 88 degrees right now in philly but our dew point is 62 degrees, right now, we're not even registers feels like temperature because humidity is not too un-tolerable, but down the shore, we have bit of muggy factor, so feeling like 84 degrees when the air temperature is 82. and in the poconos, right now, 76 degrees. storm scan3 showing us we just have a cumulus deck moving through much of the area. but we are seeing a couple of cbsphilly.com breeze generated showers developing closer to the code, and this little shower cruising it way through lewes, and i are hope beach, will move off shore as we head into the next 20 minutes. as we head into the evening hours, mostly clear. could see pop up sea breeze, otherwise, pleasant evening, warm one at that. temperatures in the low 80s.

atlantic particular city, 84 allentown, 86 in wilmington. we do have difference in the humidity across the area. bit of gradient north of the city. not too humid. dew point right around the 60 degrees mark. so still feeling fairly comfortable, but south of the city conversely, dew points up near the 07 degrees mark, so feeling much more sticky. storm scan3, showing us trends throughout the day today, nice visible imagery showing us the fair weather cumulus deck. generated showers, very light in intensity. and very small locally, not small locally is this, check that out. those are visible sign of light imari of category two hurricane gert, only 500 miles off shore. looking beautiful on saturday light, and even more beautiful that it is moving on away. yes, we don't want to deal with direct impact of gert because it is strong hurricane category two, winds at 100 miles per hour, movement off to the northeast 31 miles per hour, so the forward momentum picking up as it gets into the higher latitude.

ger. it will keep on moving away up into the northern atlantic, where it will become extra tropical. as we head into the next couple of days, but now it is our strongest hurricane, of the 2017 season so far. but, overnight tonight, quiet in the delaware valley. few passing clouds, low temperature at 71 degrees. could see patchy fog. for our thursday mostly sunny chance of late day thunderstorm, high temperature eight a degrees, so not quite as toasty tomorrow. future weather showing us could have that chan every sea breeze generated shower closer to the coast over the next couple of hours, as we head toward sunset, that chance will diminish, overnight tonight, mostly clear skies, as we wake up tomorrow morning , no problems for your thursday morning commute. looking good on the lunch hour , then your chance of spotty thunderstorm, again, mainly late in the day, see the best chance of storm rolling on through, as we head into thursday night, early friday morning. we could see couple of downpours, for the first half of the day on friday. then we are going to start to see more activity flaring up during the afternoon and evening hours. something we'll have to keep an eye on, because few of
