>> i stood up to get off and smack, hit me on the trolley. >> breaking overnight, a train crashed at philadelphia 69th street terminal, sends dozens of people to the hospital. today is fuse, august 22, good morning, aim jim donovan. >> i'm rahel solomon. that will accident involving two septa trains has injured 42 people. >> this happened early this morning at the 69 street terminal in upper darby where trang do is live, to bring us to up date. good morning, trang. >> good morning, jim, rahel. fortunately officials say none of those injuries are life threateningment i'll take you right to the train where you can actually see the trolley car involved off in the distance with police tape across it. now, despite all of those injuries, there is very minimal visible damage to the cars involved. but, take a look at the scene overnight. >> this happened just after

midnight as norristown high-speed line trolley was pulling into 69th street station. that's when the trolley crossed into an empty car park on the track. in all, 42 people including the operator are hurt. four of them critically. paramedics transported the injured to seven area hospitals. passenger ronnie described to us a very disturbing scene. >> my face hit the wall, put a big hole in the wall, i went straight down, i blacked out. >> there is blood everywhere, the driver is all banged up. this one girl bleeding out of her face pretty bad. >> despite this major incident , septa tells us the norristown high-speed line is running regularly. the trains are running. but for passengers to expect delays. we're stale out here, continue to keep you updated throughout the morning. but for now live from 69th street station, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> trang, thank you. let's get check on how the overnight accident may affect your morning commute. >> for more on that, here's

august. at this point already starting to think what's around the corner, that's of course fall, mother nature reminding us it doesn't start for another couple of weeks. temperatures on tuesday morning, looking really on the hot side already. seeing plenty of 70s out there , 76, still, here at philadelphia international airport. seventy-seven, in millville, 75 in dover, now, couple of 60s are out there, lancaster, reading, back up toward mount pocono, mid to high six range, overall warm, warm start to the day. it is a very muggy start to the day, as well, with dew points into the 60s and even close to 70 already. and it will get even more humid as we go through the afternoon. future weather for us again, relatively clear here early on in the day. by 10:00 this morning, still maybe just few clouds here or there. but what we will be watching for is maybe 5:00, 6:00 couple every isolated showers could develop off to the west. you see as we head into the early evening, 8:00, we do get a line of some shower and thunderstorm activity starting to move into the poconos. and then that will try to work it way down into the lehigh

what's going on. so last night, i would say earlier this morning, around 12:15, this morning, we had accident involving two norristown high-speed line trains. the good news is, we are back to running now. so, trains are running every 15, 20 minutes, and there are no closures on market street. if i were you, though, i would expect delays and give yourselves extra time. i would also say they usually do make sure to check the schedules on line. that's the most updated information of the they are running back to 15, 20 minute inch cream minutes, at least the good news, we are looking also at an accident out there, the schulkhill westbound at conshohocken, pulled all the way off to the far right shoulder. now that you can see the flares in the roadway, they're blocking couple of lanes, as well. scooted all the way off to the left. this is area right now that's going to start to get slow. you are going have to put on your brakes, not traveling around that area at posted speeds would allow t construction 59 south around the airport two, left lanes blocked there. see flashing lights out there. in fact, we have a lot of construction out there this morning that's still out there fifty-nine north between route 413, route one, left lane

>> it is going to be a hot hot day today for the philadelphia area. we're looking outside this morning from a top "eyewitness news," and a few, looks like, low hanging clouds out there maybe to start the day out. but it is going to be a sun- filled afternoon. with all of the sun, comes some warmer temperatures, to say the least. storm scan3, showing you couple of returns actually rolled through areas of bucks county, montgomery county. couple of hours ago. with some showers, maybe even isolated rumble every thunder at times, but it is a dry scene, now, across the entire delaware valley, again, storm scan3 looking at even clearer skies, no getting not even any cloud cover out there at this point. temperatures, we wake up this tuesday morning, it is a warm warm start to the day. wilmington, 74, philly sitting at 75, at the airport, a.c. airport, also 75 degrees. little bit on the cooler side. i guess we call it, head up into the lehigh valley, reading coming in at 69. allentown, of the, the poconos , the coup he is spot as you might expect on this tuesday morning, 65 degrees. up up in the mount pocono area

, dew point already into the high to almost oppressive range for pretty much everywhere one across the area see six's, 70s, out there, even millville dew point of 76 n the day. as you might expect, dew points will fall off just maybe a degree or two as we go later in the afternoon, remain high enough when you add in temperatures likely to be in the 90s, and the dew point that will be in the high 60s to the low 70s, are our heat inch index values likely to be up into the triple digits or at least near the triple ill digit most of the day. no real factor in with the feels like temperature gusano, but it will be higher going throughout the afternoon hours 76 degrees what we look at by 7:00 this morning. 10:00 a.m. already up into the 80s, all that sunshine, through 10:00, through the noontime hour, and 3:00 as well, we peak at 93 degrees, later on in the day. then by 5:00 still in the 90s at 91, maybe few extra clouds are out, there and by the 5:00 d
