little bit haze think morning. so, not necessarily going to be the greatest sunrise it doesn't look like right now. temperatures for the most part are in the 60s and 70s, definately, up above average. starting the day at 75 here in philly. it gets even warmer head down toward milville and wildwood where we are at 76 and 68, to start your day out in the lehigh valley and allentown. rest of the shore points, 57 cape may. again 76 our temperature to both, there stone harbor, ocean city back up toward barnegat, as women. here are the dew point, in the 60s, 70s, will remain on the high side all the way through the afternoon when you add in the heat and humidity looks like heat index values flirting with the trip ill digit throughout the afternoon maybe as high as 103 at times. we go from 80 at 9:00 this morning, to up just shy of zero nine at noontime, with a temperature of 87, then meisha , we peak at 93 degrees later this afternoon, but as we said, no real weather issues here so far this morning, couple every thunderstorms though do have a factor later in the day. >> going to be so warm outside

almost skipped the trolley because he noticed it went past his station and had to reverse. he says the same thing happened at the next several stops. >> we got to the terminal. i stood up. to get off and get ready to get to my bus on time, and snack, hit the other trolley parked. >> septa says 42 people including the operator are hurt. four of them critically. >> my face hit the wall, put big hole in the wall. i went straight down. i black out. >> there is blood everywhere, yes, the driver all banged up, there is this one girl bleeding out of her face pretty bad. >> medic rushed the injured to seven area hospitals. upper darby mayor, tom, says the response was a highly coordinated effort between emergency agencies, that was praised bypass inning ers a mid the trauma. >> we had incident about four months ago, always constantly pre-planning this, in the terminal with septa. so the cooperation between all of the agencies was seamless. >> meanwhile, the norristown high-speed line is operating every 20 minutes, but no

sunrises in the east goes to the west, but the way the earth and the moon kind of cross, it has got to go backward to get the shadow. >> however it moved, it was very cool for me to watch. >> it was really cool. the satelite picture we just showed what we call the ghost scene, the newest noah weather satellite up there, and it is haytaian res, one of the coolest tools us folks in the weather community have. cool to see that visible satellite image from oregon back down toward south carolina if you were at the beach yesterday you probably had good viewing of the eclipse. if you are at the beach this morning, hazy, maybe little foggy. you see that here on the neighborhood network camera down in margate. it is again quiet start to the day at the beach. but muggy start to the day. so because of that, it is a little bit on the foggy side. to say the least. mostly sunny for the shore later this afternoon. temperatures are going to be in the mid to high 80s, but when you add in the humidity, feeling like up into the 90s, maybe even near the triple

happy tuesday. looking outside here to an accident. schuylkill, conshohocken curve pulled off to the right shoulder, right lane, casino every squeezing by this this left lane. so, yes, we will start to get some backups here, plus not to mention the fact building volumes at this point in the 6:00 hour. so if i were you, schuylkill west before the conshohocken curve, not the first problem area, in this area, this morning. so, this seems to be casino after hot spot this morning, if i were you, i would certainly give myself extra time specially moving in the westbound direction. speaking of some of the fog, some of the haze matt has been talking about all morning long , ben franklin bridge, pushing in the westbound direction, in terms of congestion, there isn't any. just going to be a little, have little bit every visibility issues, overall looking okay. norristown high-speed line, train accident, here is a update for you, 69th street terminal. starting at 6:00 a.m. training moving every 20 minute.

but cold front comes sweeping through tonight, tomorrow morning, and then the second half of the week coming in thursday, friday, into the weekend. now what we are expecting today unfortunately is highs up into the low 90s, heat we haven't seen since the beginning of the month add in the humidity, will only get worse in the afternoon, heat index values up triple digits or near the triple digits most of the afternoon, so heat advisory goes in effect at 1:00 today. it does last until 8:00 this evening, don't forget all every those heat safety tips we talk about through june, july, going to be leaving those again today, take frequent breaks, lot of cool water stay in the shade as much as you can, again, with the heat advisory out there. and because it is so hot and humid, pop up thunderstorm isn't completely ruled out as we go through the afternoon hours today, either the better chance for that, though, going to commas we get little later on into the evening. because that's when the front comes through. storm scan3, right now, not too much going on.

accident, schuylkill westbound , before conshohocken curve pulled all the way up to the far right shoulder, slow moving as you travel on by here. so it was blocking far right lane, just kind of squeezing by in the left lane, now, it is pulled all the way off to the shoulderment take a look at the backups, still pretty substantial. belmont, headlight moving in the westbound direction, toward where the accident is. take a look at this, from the vine to the blue route, talking about 80 minute or more. so definitely going to want to factor in extra time into your commute this morning, i would say if you can hole off little bit at home, certainly want to do so if you have to head out, just factor in a lot of extra time. accident here, 295 north before route 38, pulled off to the far left. again, having some backups, because of this, not only because you're going have a lot of gaper delay, but also because congestion levels are slowing down, it can support those major slow downs now, heading toward the 7:00 hour. construction, near marlton, route 70 westbound, closed

between hartford road and maple avenue. use alternate, your alternate around this area will be church road or route 38. it will be your best bet. then also looking at some construction as well north broad closed between 68th and zero seven until october 2nd, so it will be one of those that lingers out there, your alternates, old york road, 15th street, will be your best bet. more to come in the next ten minutes. jim, over to you. >> thank you shall meishament some sad news, military officials have suspended the search for five missing crew members, of an army blackhawk helicopter. the chopper went down last week off the coast of hawaii during a training exercise. the coast guard and the navy searched more than 72,000 square nautical miles. military officials say total of four helmets were found. along with other debris from that helicopter were found. >> council meeting in charlottesville, virginia ends with three arrest. protesters interrupted the public meeting last night.

some were calling on their city representatives to resign this was the first council meeting since the city's deadly protest on august 12th. protesters were upset that the white supremecist rally was allowed to take place. police removed some protesters >> closer to home, 26 puppies now safe after being found in a hot van outside of new jersey wal-mart, the english and french bulldog pup wrist discovered in this garfield bergin county parking lot. animal control officials say all were crammed into two crates, think about that, 26 puppies, two crates, they were severely dehydrated. investigators are now trying to piece together where these pups came from. >> there were paperworks with them. and in another language. it was determined we believe they might have been from columbia. >> the puppies can sell for one to $3,000 each. animal services stay probably and they probably won't be available for adoption for awhile because of potential diseases. >> they need to find who ever
