so, we got to just get maybe through our friday work day, and then just will be great saturday, sunday. now couple of light showers trying to work their way through the area here this morning, so we get a look at the weather headlines for friday, again, lilt dollars chance for shower here this morning, but, plenty of afternoon sunshine. and then, we continue that trends of cooler than average temperatures, and that low humidity, as well. really will be feeling very, very nice. storm scan3, there are those light showers, actually, fizzling out, as they continue to push toward the delaware valley. then, the lehigh valley out toward reading, berks county, again, northern bucks county at this point, maybe some part of northern month co, getting few light showers out there, then back down through delaware. so if you do wake up this morning, do you have a little bit of precipitation, don't be shocked. but then also don't be wore tid will be raining all day. it is not. it will just be lasting here probably until sunrise or so, then clearing out. temperatures for us here this morning, we sit at 67 in philly. so dropped degree in the last hour, 62 down at the a.c. airport, 52 in mount pocono,

waking up to 61 in reading again where few light showers are. and 64 in dover, again, for couple of the rain showers poking through the clouds. for the rest of the morning, you see here, magnificant start to the day, 69 at 9:00 this morning, up to 75 by lunchtime, then outside this afternoon, plenty of sunshine for us, 08 degrees temperatures, meisha, so wonderful ends to our work week. dry conditions on the roads. so doesn't lock like weather should be too much of a factor for us here this morning. >> not at all, matt, things looking great. i had zero complaint, real now complaints, this is looking gorgeous. the ben franklin bridge always does, seems to never disappoint from jersey westbound into center city, this is what you are working with. so still early. we know it will start to get busier in the 6:00 hour. but enjoy the nice open roadways while we've got them. specially now in the 5:00 hour friday's, how much, tends to be lighter travel day, no matter what. ben franklin bridge, you are looking great. then 95 south at cottman, this is what you are looking at coming around the s curve.

starting to see little shift on 95 right now pushing in the southbound direction. starting to i don't want to say slow down, but certainly getting more and more vehicles out there as you leave your homes this morning, just heads up, 95 maybe slowly starting to get little busier. and we do have accident out there, as well, new hanover township, shaver road, it is partially blocking so if that's your neck of the woods, bring it to your attention, probably won't slow you down too much. just to be aware of t construction clues still out there. seventy-six between 676 and route 130. three lanes are blocked each way, yes there is will start to slow you down, not yet, not in the 5:00 hour, showing a bunch of green around the areas but i would say in the 6:00 hour, if that's your route, that you would normally take, give yourself couple of extra minute, plus, crews are here, route zero seven between haddonfield road and 295, one lane block, this is one lane each direction, just by the way, and also construction crews out there route zero nine, as well there is one near betsy ross bridge, route zero nine eastbound between the betsy ross and route 73, two lanes block there. and starting to show little

yellow letting you know tapping your brakes ever so slightly. hurricane harvey has strength toned category two. lable it a life threatening storm, most powerful storm system to hit the us since 2005. hurricane has the potential for up to 3 feet of rain, 125- mile per hour winds, and 12-foot storm surges. other models show the storm stalling out over southeastern texas from days. >> we could see the worsen vier on mental disaster in the u.s. history. >> the concern here, that is works its way back down to the southeast, possibly out over the open water, we could be seeing maybe a restrengthening going into tuesday, of next week. >> and the governor of texas calls pre-emptive state of disaster in 30 counties yesterday, the storm expected to make landfall, either late tonight, tomorrow morning, as category three hurricane. >> and while many coastal residents are making their way out of the path of the storm, doctors, nurses and other rescue personnel are heading toward the storm to help.

harvey to the texas gulf coast is driving gas prices higher. platforms and rigs are being shutdown and the coast home to three fineries. it is estimated gas prices will jump five to 15 sent a gallon in some parts of the country. >> and amazon takes over whole foods monday, tan will rollback prices. potentially erasing the organic groceries unofficial name. amazon says its time to make organic food more accessible to everyone, a.m. amazon prize members will benefit from the whole foods customer rewards program with special offers and discount. >> united airlines employees are taking their dress code up a notch. the carrier announced it is working with brooks brothers, on new line of uniforms, for its more than 70,000 in-air staff. the new duds are expected to hit the runways in 2020. jim, rahel? >> meg, i used to be flight attendant in the 80s, 90s. >> were you wearing brooks brothers?

police say his alleged victim texted 911 for help, while hiding in a apartment closet. this is the suspect, 23 year old kris do you have err, of cooling dawn, delaware county, the alleged incident took place saturday. authorities say an emergency dispatcher who received the victim's text messages told the woman to call 911, so they could find her location from the gps on her cell phone. >> the 911 dispatcher talking her through the whole process basically told her, listen, stop texts, dial 911, but don't talk. because the guy was still in the area. it may have saved her life this technology. pretty darn close to it. >> he's being held on 10% of $10 million bail, faces several charges including rape , and false imprison: >> a snap chat post leads police to this man in gibbsboro, police arrested mason, at his clementon road saturday. they say he sexually assault add woman and posted images of her, on his snap chat. a friend of the victim saw her

in the post and called police. mallo in being held in the camden county jail. >> mother accuse of using her young daughter to help burglarize a chinese restaurant. it happened earlier this month surveillance video shows a woman placing a order at the counter on chase street, camden, police say she told her seven year old daughter to climb through an opening in the plexiglass, and then steel money from the cash register, that mother is now charged with burglary. >> local lawmakers want the federal government to speed up the pros what's investigating septa train accidents. "eyewitness news" got exclusive look at the 69th street station platform, in upper darby, where septa train crash happened tuesday. trains failed to stop and plowed into the back after park train, 33 people were hurt. there was also a train accident in upper dash any february. congressman bob brady, upper darby mayor tom, are outraged at the lent of type of typical natural transportation safety board investigation and brady want congressional hearing. >> this is going it take

showers here early this morning. they're going to be clearing out by the time, though, we get to about sunrise, just little less than an hour we actually should be looking at dry conditions across the entirety of the viewing area. we are checking with the weather watch they are friday morning, as well, wacking to up some cool temperatures out there. we start north of the city. let's gun, it is 61 degrees this morning. john's house, up in perkasie. with a little bit of light shower activity, he's reporting, so he says, just little weak rain, to wake up, and walk around here this morning, with the puppy dogs. it is a little uncomfortable, but i think that's really just because of the rain, not whole lot of humidity out there. also, 06 degrees, at eileen's house, up in gilbertsville, also reported little bit after shower, visited gilbertsville this morning, but the good news, most of the precipitation starting to work it way out of the area, and we head back down to delaware, 63 this morning, at jason's house in middleton. a lot of cloud cover for him at 63 degrees, and he says

that the roads are wet, thanks to shower that passed through the arch so again, delaware also getting in women line shower, here this morning, so we take a lock what we're talking about as we head over to the maps. lehigh valley, this is berks couldn't, lehigh county, northern bucks county, you see , some showers out, there around allentown, getting little bit of a yellow to pop up on our radar. so maybe slight chance for more moderate rainfall just around the allentown area being back through philly nice and quiet. not too much going on. then here is the light showers , from dover, back down toward milford, you see here, down into southern delaware for the most part right now all we're looking at for that light shower activity, for the southern sections of the area. our future weather shows we're going to be dry through pretty much the rest of the day today going to look for temperatures that climb all the way up to about 80 degrees, meisha, with that humidity staying low. we really can't ask for better way to wrap up our weekend, than, or excuse me, our week, than what we are getting right now. getting ahead of myself. already ready for summer.

309 at souderton road, pull off to the shoulder. might start it get maybe little gaper delay, overall still traveling around okay. traveling around 3 miles per hour maybe tapping the brakes. then construction crews out here on 76, as well, 76 between 676 and route 130, three lanes blocked in each direction. so that's going to start to slow you down ever so-so slightly. more construction should be clearing around 6:00 a.m., route 70 between haddonfield road and 29a1 lane block in each direction there, jim, rahel, back to you. >> cbs-3 summer fest live in haddonfield new jersey tonight picking up the past and celebrating the future all over town. >> this week all about ties to the american revolution. and a place that has preserved its history tucked away 10 miles from philadelphia. stop along the camden and atlantic railroad has been a hub of activity since 1701.
