there, and 61 even in mount pocono. mild start, even up that way, but again, just watch for a shower as the day progresses. so all-in-all, looking to be pretty good day. i have a feeling most of the kids will be able to get outside for recess, but still b plus, that is little muggy, because you are going to see a hit or miss shower along the way. still enough though that i would say if you're not crazy about cashing along the extra umbrella, you can probably get away without it, don't be shock to see couple of raindrops along the way. then again, as we've been talking about now for couple every days, we've got to keep close watch on jose. still question marks with this , until this really shows it starts to truck north, we're still going to just need to monitor that storm, at the moment, tropical storm, likely to re strengthen into category one hurricane, as at least making somewhat after close pass to our area into next mid week. we'll let you know where things currently stands in that regard. but meantime, couple of showers here, there, i'll let you know when the next batch

plus, still talking about another accident, as well, in milford township involving injuries. 663, john fries highway right now closed between old planes road and kumry road, sleepy hollow road your best alternate. more to talk about in the when we come back in the next ten minute, jim, back to you. >> updating breaking news, off initials london now say explosion on subway train was terrorism. the underground explosion set off panic at the height of rush hour. we're now told number of people are hurt. there doesn't appear to be a lot of damage, however, a picture shared on social media showed a flaming white bucket. police are advising people to avoid the area in southwest london. we will keep you updated as we learn more, but again, several people hurt in london in what is now being treated as act of terrorism. in our area, police are on the hunt for shooter they say fired into a home in kingsessing, hitting two women inside. >> this shooting happened on the 5400 block of haddonfield street just before 2:00 this morning, two women and three year old girl were all inside

when they heard a knock at the door. one of the women went to look through the peep hole when someone opened fire. the two women were shot and rushed to the hospital where they're now in stable condition. the child was not hurt. >> in other news today, the un security councils little meet little later. >> this come after north korea launched another missile over japan this morning, john loyer ends has the full story. >> for the second time in less than a month, people in japan were given a ominous warning. >> translated with my phone translator, find shelter in a basement, north korea just launched a missile. >> pong yank fired missile over island local time. the launch comes just days after the north korean state agency issued a statement, saying, four japanese islands should be sunken into the sea. south korea responds the friday with a live fire drill that included it own missile launch. during hits six year rain, north korean leader kim jong un has tested more missiles

>> a public memorial service for whalen was held at boardwalk hall, in atlantic city yesterday. he had a long career in public service. he was an atlantic city lifeguard, a teacher, in 1982, he became atlantic city council member, then elected mayor three times before his election to the state legislature in 2005. effort are now underway to rename boardwalk hall in whalen's honor. >> in other news today, philadelphia firefighters are mourning the death of one of their own. lieutenant kenneth green, senior, died at einstein medical center. he had been transported to the hospital on september 3rd, while on duty athen gin 37 in chestnut hill. colleagues draped the firehouse there with black bunting, green was 23 year veteran of the philadelphia fire department. well, president trump got first-hand look at the devestation hurricane irma left behind in florida. the president and first lady met with storm victims trying to put their lives back together in naples. they also handed out some food

and water, trump's also thanked first responders, law enforcement and others, for their work in dealing with the storm and it aftermath. >> we are there for you 100%, i'll being back here numerous times, this is a state that i know very well as you understanded, and special, special people, and we love them. >> the president says he'll also travel to puerto rico and the us virgin islands in the coming days to meet with storm victims there. meanwhile the new jersey national guard is helping the us virgin islands recover after hurricane irma. twenty-six members left to provide security for fema. they'll also assist local law enforcement on the islands, devestated by the storm. the new jersey national guard will be deployed therefore up to 60 days. >> well, one way people are lend ago helping hand to hurricane victims in our area is through a special opening of the divine lorraine hotel lobby. the opulent entry to the historic property in north broad street entertained people curious about the recent renovations there,

that way for the most part. eyewitness weather watch remembers checking in this morning with current conditions, i should say, up ear's, pretty much the coolest spot we've seen out there. low 60s, mid 60s, we zero in on one of them, two in in bill this morning, nice clear sky, out in delco, where it is mild , it is clear, and he's welcoming everybody to the weekend, as women, so looking pretty good. look at the list format here, get sense where everybody comes from. eileen is again one of those cooler spots, she tends to be out in one of the more remote suburbs, fran in nottingham, and even he is at six off degrees, mid 60s kinds of the theme though otherwise few outline ers, but david dutch checks in at 65, 66, i think it might the warmest spot we've got. interesting, we've had mild air up in bath, and charles is reporting that value at 66 degrees, now, a lot to get to elsewhere. we do still have that renmant moisture from irma, bulk every which at this point is now strung out, moving out to sea, so yes, you may still see shower at some point today, but really not bad looking day so still a lot of activity to

injuries, overturned vehicle, not quite sure if it is still overturned or right side up, but in norristown, so route 202, markley street, blocked at robert street. so, around this area, alternate for some construction route 202, not right by each other, but close enough, just for quick mention so, construction crews out here, not far away, route 202, dekalb street closed between washington street and lafayette street here. alternate here route 202, markley street. so just make note, that accident 202 markley street, blocking at robert street. then, also, we had disable vehicle here, 59 north before the blue route. right lane compromised. that's now since been cleared. so looking okay there. but we still have this accident out here, milford township as well involving injuries. so route 56, 63, john fries highway closed between old planes road and kumry road. your alternate sleepy hollow road is your best bet. jan, back over to you. >> meisha, thank you. spacecraft that made its way all the way to saturn is completing it mission today. >> nasa says the spacecraft will burn up in saturn's

atmosphere this morning. it has spent the last 13 years taking pictures of the ring planet. the spacecraft discovered an ocean on one of saturn's moons on another it found says of methane. >> accused selling bad gasoline, two new jersey agencies now investigating more than dozen complaints of possible issues at a station in sewell, sources tell " eyewitness news," the station 's gas tanks were allowed to run empty which led unsuspecting drivers to fill up with left over water in the tanks, instead of gasoline. state officials say their inspectors were alerted of possible issues there earlier this week. >> expensive fix there. women coming up: petty cabs, petty cabs on the parkway. >> nice. the light show that dazzled center city. and when you can get a free ride. that's when "eyewitness news" continues.
