"eyewitness news" here at a school board meeting in eagleville last night, board asked the teachers union to meet with them to try to hash out some kind of a deal. teachers started striking on monday morning, and that is after weekend negotiations between their union and school board, failed, the two side are at odd on salaries and medical premiums. we have new information today in the death of a lafayette college student, authorities say that on september 7th, 2 days before mccray williams died, the freshman fell in his dorm room after attending a party where he was drinking. lacrosse teammates became concerned about williams the following day, when he kept insisting on sleeping, and he became combative. they called 911 and williams was rush to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead next day from a head injury. >> at this time i have no evidence of any criminal conduct on the part of anyone, at this time, and i leave that opened because obviously if some new information would come we would revice that it issue. >> now district attorney went

on to say, that he did not see williams death as a quote, penn state case, referring to the hazing death of timothy piazza. cabrini university is holding campus wide town halls to answer student concerns after discovery of more racial slurs in residents halls. we told but this on sunday about a freshman who found message go away and a slur on her dorm room door. the university says that it has cleaned up two more instances of racial graffiti and increased security on the campus in radnor, delaware county. is there a court appearance this morning foreman accused in the murder of a temple university student last month. joshua hupperterz, faces murder and other charges in the death of 22-year old jena burleigh. investigators say hupperterz met burleigh at a north fill bar and killed her august 31st authorities say he used the ride services lyft to transport her body to his grandmother's property in northeastern pennsylvania.

potential tropical risk. we have coastal flood warning until 2:00 this afternoon for areas in south jersey back down toward the delaware beaches because jose is still spiraling off the coast, and, that was a high, 8:46, this morning, and that will maximize our chance for that coastal flooding and after that time will start to go down and chances for flooding will go down witt. tropical satellite showing you maria. it is getting closer and closer, the outer eye wall already now, probably hitting, parts of the southeastern puerto rico. it will officially make land fall here early this morning and it will be packing a punch , 150 or so mile an hour wind. it is a category four storm. it will be making land fall again today. as it works its way north it will effect bohamas as we get into thursday and then further on here in the forecast track by early next week it will be off coastline of georgia and

, slid pennsylvania the platform at gulph mills station and then reportedly, reported slippery rails, ntsb is still investigating the cause of that crash. get a load of this good samaritan stops a knife wielding robber in the act and now he can be sued. surveillance video shows craig jerry attacking a suspect at a star bucks in california last july. jerry, hit him with a chair hain was stabbed in the neck during the struggle before he wrestled the knife away and stabbed the robber. now the suspect's mother, the robber's mother, says that her son plans to sue for excessive force. >> the guy in my opinion went from a good samaritan to a vigilante, you know, stabbing somebody that many times it doesn't take that many stab wounds to get somebody to succumb to you. >> um, yeah, her son, just a beauty there. her son the suspect was stabbed 17 times. he is in jail right now, jerry
