we will get to. that will but dow want to point out what's going won now classified as post tropical cyclone jose, still churning out there, and even though some of those rain bands are close to shore, for the most part, bypassing the area, so maybe there is a couple of sprinkles at the shore, but that's about it. otherwise, clouds overhead. and also mild and frankly very comfortable start. counter clockwise spin around jose, bringing in the northerly wind flow, and it certainly comfortable enough in most locations where you can walk out the door without the need of extra layer. y- 60s around good portion of the suburbs, as the day goes on we heat up very rapidly and efficiently, so still above average as we kick off the fall season. 3:00 p.m., 83 degrees. by 4:02 p.m., the equinox taking place, new season will start. these warm temperatures not going anywhere any time soon meisha. so i'll let you know which days ends up being the hottest little later in the broadcast. >> i love it. i hope they stick around.

all right, katie, thank you so much. and happy friday to all of you we are waking one some okay driving conditions, great in terms of the roadways, they're nice, dry, no rain to speak of , beautiful, ben franklin bridge looking great. did wake up early in the 4:00 with string every accident, four to be exact, some of which are still lingering. ben franklin bridge looking great as you push in westbound direction, although you can see, already heating up. heads up on. that plus schuylkill near spring garden push in the eastbound direction toward center city, seeing a squad car with lites on pulled off to the right. he's since moved on. see eastbound and westbound actually looking pretty good on the schuylkill. so this is where we had one of the accidents this morning, still kind of can't really see by the camera shot, not good camera shot at all. but it is 95 at ridley park, that should be clearing out of your way now. we also have another accident, still out there, spring house. two of the other accident have cleared. this one still out there, bethlehem pike, alene road still out there. route 101 trolley road work

news this morning, how the recent hurricanes are impacting the number every unemployed americans. >> hena doba joins us live from the new york took stock exchange with that and more, good morning, hena. >> good morning, guys. happy friday. here on wall street, stocks finished lower for the first time this week. the dow jones lost 53-point, the nasdaq finished 33 points lower. the number of americans applies for unemployment benefit dropped by more than 20,000 last week. this comes as the economic impact of hurricane harvey starts to fade. in texas, labor department says claims dropped 45% and more people return to work, hurricane irma still impacting the job market in florida where claims are on the rise, despite filing for bankruptcy protection, this week, toys " r" us is gearing up for the holiday season. the largest us toy chain said it is hiring morehan 12,500 seasonal workers, to staff it stores, that includes cashiers , salespeople, warehouse staff and new position called toye loing to

turn. totally my fault, too. sore bye that guys. so here we are, looking outside at cape may, where things are really, really tranquil at the moment. yes, it will be little breezy at the shore here this weekend for sure. do still have tropical high clone jose turning up the surf , rip countries being, a and however at the moment, cape may, everywhere else, it is very, very quiet. and mild, that said. starting the day off here, with temperatures easily in the mid 60s. low 70s, depending where you are. in the city that's where we're falling, and only will heat up from here. as we check our eyewitness weather watchers we start things off with a look at really pretty pictures, beautiful sunset picture came in from ed connor out in chesterfield. i love it. see the vie ambulance i of the sun reflecting off the clouds, absolutely gorgeous. and very golden, right? and another view, very close to that. outside in chestnut hill, this is phil on the last sunday set of the summer. not going to get another one now that the equinox is taking place later on this afternoon.

a friday morning, and i think it is because a lot of people with this gorgeous weather want to get work early, get out of work early. makes perfect sense to me. vine pulled overnight for the construction, westbound, you're clear, but keeping busy , like we were just saying , getting butts i as you push toward the schuylkill eastbound side, starting to heat up as well. so the vine, east and westbound, maybe start to pack in couple every extra minutes to your commute. accident here in spring house, little more serious, downed pole here, as well, bethlehem pike closed between digger road, mt. pleasant avenue. alternates route 309 or route one a two your best bet. we actually have another accident in delaware county route 322 westbound, at beth he will avenue. jim, back over to you. >> body cameras are rolling, as police officers in atlanta risk their own lives to save two men trapped inside of a burning car. >> can you get out? >> incredible. police say both the driver and passenger were badly hurt after their car crashed into an overpass. five officers rushed straight toward the flames, attacking
