it feels like a heat wave outside. it may be around 90 degrees outside but you guys said it, fall is officially here and despite heat it means it is pumpkin picking time. our lauren casey is live with the mobile weather watcher at linvilla orchard in media, delaware county where she's having fall fun despite the heat. how is it feeling out there? >> well, it feels, so hot, kate. it is a scorcher out here. it does not feel like fall bull it looks like fall at linvilla orchard, i have got my glorious thrown made of hey , pumpkins every where, scare crows and, of course, witches, and we took a ride to the witches house today, there are four different houses where the witches, they tell jokes, they tell stories, but the stories aren't scary, stories because it isn't a haunted hey ride, it is not spooky, so it is perfect for the little won but i think, big kid will enjoy it too.

little kid. it doesn't scare them. they have fire pits, great place to go in the fall. this is a great place to be as well. we used to go to the shore in september before the kid started school. if you picked this week thinking maybe it is cold but it will be quiet down the shore. you pick a great one. the beach weather is perfection. only problem is the surf. we still have are your surf and threat for rip currents up down the coastline. be safe out in those waves because they are a hidden danger lurking out to sea thanks partially to maria which we will talk about in a moment. quick look at kutztown west of the city to the other direction here. 86 degrees. we are looking at sunshine. beautiful day out there it is hot. 86 degrees, not feeling like fall. we are seeing leaving chaining but the weather is not catching up to the seasons here. storm scan three is clear. lets zoom down to maria still a category one hurricane spin ning off north carolina coast, most of maria will stay off shore. impact certainly. but the coastal impact will

continue, rough is your, if rip currents and threats for beach erosion. cold front that will usher in fall weather for us will drive maria out to sea. i will show thaw as well. eighty-nine in the city. ninety in allentown. seventy's atlantic city and wildwood. look at change that is coming. here comes the cold front. big difference. mid 90's in minneapolis just a few days ago. now 61. seventy-five in des moines. still hot in chicago and st. louis, that front will be permeating the entire eastern half of country with cooler weather by end of the week. lights time out the front. it is a squeeze play. here comes maria looking threatening as it moves up the coast and will be weakening to a tropical storm but here comes our savior, the front, not much with it but watch what it does it takes maria and on thursday, pushes it right out to sea, thursday sun comes out, maria gone, dew points drop and it will feel so much nicer starting on thursday. actual official track on maria category one hurricane, it will weak tone a tropical storm over the next couple of
