looking outside, we have some construction on the schuylkill actually causing some bumper to bumper conditions. no fun at 5:00 in the morning. >> really early for that. >> yes, it is. >> you know, it is kind of early, too, for the kind of temperatures we have out there very warm start to the day. another very summer like day coming up, as well. but not as hot as yesterday. we ended up over achieving, hit 91 degrees yesterday. so still came real close to records, then didn't quite get there. but yes, hot day for the standards certainly. take a look at storm scan, there is definitely some change about to take place. we still got maria. churning away. still no direct threat posed to our shore line specifically , but also pretty potent tropics digging in here for two purposes, to a, switch up our pattern, finally will feel like fall toward week's end, but also helps steer the storm away and gets it out of our hair, that will exit stage atlantic basically. in the next couple of days it, will make it close impact to our area tomorrow.

indirect impact comes with that, talk much more about that coming up. just to get you out the door there is isn't completely widespread clearly. but you are seeing clearly along most of i-95. you get toward trenton, visibility starts to drop off little bit. pine lan area, most remote suburbs, wooded terrain, down toward the shore, currently finding some of the worse of the visibility. so you may run into some patchy fog out there. shouldn't be really widespread issue. but it may be out there along your travels. looking region wide, actually got quite cool up at mount pocono. certainly since this same time yesterday. certainly by injury son, as well, phillies, atlantic city where you're upper 60s, but the day goes on, no problem once more hitting ten solid degrees above what's average. eight a, few more clouds granted meisha but looks like pretty nice day if you want to get out. >> absolutely it does, thank you so much for that. good morning, happy tuesday. looking outside right now, nice dry roadways. so talking about that construction on the schuylkill that's been really causing

some problems, early for us, because of that overnight resurfaced project. plus talking about some construction over night, schuylkill west at 30th street now all clear. so just looking at this overnight night resurface project east and west between the turnpike and the blue route. so this camera shot showing you little closer to the turnpike, heads up on this. already starting to see not only slow downs because of the construction, but also, starting to get some congestion levels, lots of headlights, lots of taillights , just be aware of that, 42 looking great, 42 northbound creek road to 295 for all of my new jersey friends you are looking really great as you travel on toward. that we do have accident here in pike creek delaware route seven limekiln road closed, you will have to use alternate up upper pike creek road. >> new video this morning, police investigate double triple shooting. three men suffering from gunshot withouts 600 block of perth place. one later died at the hospital we're told 58 year old man was shot multiple times, he's in

stable condition. the 26 year old was shot once in the hip. he's in critical condition. so far no arrests have been made. >> and intense manhunt ends overnight when shooting suspect is found dead. >> the suspect wanted for gunning down his ex-girlfriend 's mother, " eyewitness news" reporter trang do live in limerick township, new development, good morning, trang. >> well, good morning, rahel, jim. authorities now say gregory feldman took his own life, chester county district attorney's offers, saying he died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. now, police had been looking for him since friday, in connection with the shooting of his girlfriend, his ex-girlfriend, rather, mother. but take a look at this video of the scene overnight. feldman's body was found, inside his car, parked at wawa in schuylkill township late monday. investigators in the coroner's office spent the night gathering evidence before the car was towed away from the scene. now, this all started just after 12:15 p.m. friday afternoon when limerick police responded to home on long meadow road. there they found 48 year old amy herman suffering from

gunshot wounds to her chest and neck. she identified feldman, her daughter's 30 year old exboyfriend as the shooter. now, police launched manhunt offering up $1,000 reward for his whereabouts until his body was found monday night, just 15 minute from the herman's home. now, amy herman is recovering and is expected to be okay. but you can imagine, just very scary days since this very gruesome discovery. for now, live outside limerick township police department. i'm trang do, cbs-3, " eyewitness news." jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, trang. "eyewitness news" confirms there were no injuries in the in this fire in northern liberties. flames broke out, six and girard, about 9:30 last night, appeared to be confined to the upper floors of the building. firefighters had it under control in about 30 minutes, investigators are still searching for the cause. >> well the latest effort to pass a gop healthcare bill appears to be hanging on by a thread after another republican senator rejects the proposal. here's cbs news correspondent hena doba.

>> certainly isn't good. this is video taken by one of the 150 passengers, the plane just landed at fresno international yesterday. it was taxing to the gate, the captain told everyone to cover their mouths. >> little scary when the plane smoking, worrying about blowing up, to wait for the fire department to check the plane before they let us out. really unfortunate, we didn't have oxygen. >> don't want oxygen in a fire , not a good thing, i am glad it didn't drop. the crew decided to stop short of the gate, out after bun dance every caution. passengers got off the plane, took the stairs down, and into inside of the airport, passengers photos shows emergency crews on the scene, fortunately, no one was hurt. >> okay time is 5:14, kate at this will be another warm day. but cool down is eventually approaching. >> pretty big one too expecting to go from not just ten agree, but below what's seasonable by the time we hit

the seven day. >> today another shorts and t-shirt kind of day cloud cover showing up on the satelite, also starting to see little hint of fog showing up. not just on the visibility map , but also, in our cameras, which we will get tonight here is maria. still category one storm, even as of the 5:00 a.m. update from the national hurricane center not only creep north, but make right hand turn. but also, weak tone tropical storm before it gets swept away. now, part of the reason for this getting swept away, over our reason is a trough dropping in. that's already bringing in some rain across part of the minnesota, dakotas, you get the idea, down through central planes. this is what's responsible for really setting the stage for much cooper air, then reinforcing cool air comes in in its wake. here is where we currently stand. mid upper 60s, mount pocono, 63 degrees, not shabby.
