>> ♪ >> live from the cbs broadcast center in philadelphia, this is cbs3 "eyewitness news". >> tonight at 11 o'clock, heartwarming reunion for our alycia nieves reconnects with her great grandmother. a man caught taking pictures up a woman's skirt is caught on surveillance video and now police are warning women in and around the wal-mart that this happened to please be on guard. good evening i'm natasha brown. thanks for joining us. it is called upskirting and police fear this may not be the first time this suspect has done it. "eyewitness news" reporter henry rosoff is following this story for us live in turnersville tonight where he spoke with some very concerned residents. henry. >> reporter: natasha women say they're being careful as police search for this man. he's in his 20's. police say he's stalking people inside the store before taking disturbing pictures.

>> that's crazy. >> reporter: turnersville wal-mart shoppers were stunned when we showed them the video of a man stalking then taking an upskirt picture of a woman inside the store around 5 o'clock tuesday evening. >> that's scary. that's kind of spooky, yeah. you don't want to go around and have somebody following you like that, definitely not. >> reporter: you can see in the video the woman hears the camera click then confronts the creep. he nonchalantly walks away like nothing happens. >> tells me he's done this before. we want to get ahold of him. >> reporter: washington township police lieutenant kenneth kennedy says he hopes it will warn women in the area to mind there are their surroundings. >> i think women in general have to be cautious and careful everywhere they go because we're very vulnerable in certain situations. >> i am very aware of my surroundings and i care about everybody.

>> basically you have to have street smarts common sense walk with somebody. >> reporter: local police plan on putting on a series of clinics for both teens and adults all female. when we have more information about that we'll pass it along to you. henry rosoff cbs3 "eyewitness news." >> president trump is lashing out at san juan's mayor carmen yulin cruz. now in a series of tweets today the president accused of mayor of "poor leadership and wanting the g government to do everything for them." there are some signs some signsf recovery. more than 50 percent of gas operators are now up and running. as well as most hospitals. however, millions are still without electricity and running low on food and water. >> i am begging, begging

"eyewitness news" reporter alycia nieves is on the ground in puerto rico reporting from san juan. after a full day of working to try to get to her family members further inland and we are very excited to tell you that alycia has reconnected with her great grandmother. she's sharing her story. >> reporter: puerto rico is an island devastated and nearly decimated after hurricane maria hit it nearly two weeks ago. millions of u.s. citizens have been here without power water and communication since. we came here two days ago to

try and go to parts that were hardest hit and reconnect some on the island with their loved ones in the greater philadelphia area. we continue that mission today except this time it was personal. my photographer and i headed to find my 95-year-old great grandmother salvadora. 20 minutes towards our drive we haven't had much of a problem getting there. the closer we get i'm a little nervous if all of the roads where my family live will be open and we'll be able to get through. the normally 45 minute drive took two hours. roads weren't blocked by fallen trees but street signs were all knocked down. [speaking foreign language] >> reporter: we had to stop three times for directions and even call my family in new york on a satellite phone to get help. going towards, 11, right? i worried this wasn't going to happen. one left turn after that call and we were in front of her home. with food and if some supplies in hand, i rushed to her.

[speaking foreign language] >> reporter: i felt like i could hardly breathe. with one hug and her smile, the stress that i'd been carrying for weeks went away. once she told me that she was okay i wanted her to be able to tell my family that herself. we had to go outside for the satellite phone to work and for the first time in 11 days, i could help my grandmother. [speaking foreign language] >> reporter: hear her mother's voice. [speaking foreign language] >> reporter: for five minutes she stayed strong kept a smile on her face reassuring us that through god she is safe. [speaking foreign language] >> reporter: i didn't have to ask my great grandmother salvadora how much that call meant. we could all tell by her face. i spent a total of an hour with her. >> tambien. >> reporter: she told me how in nearly the century she had lived on this island she had weathered storms but nothing

like hurricane maria. studio in pennsauken. >> we're dancers. i reached out to our dance community and they donated their time today. >> reporter: for a $25 donation people could attend a wide variety of dance classes all day long and at the same time people dropped off cases of water, canned food and more that the dance studio is sending in a shipping container to puerto rico. >> it makes it feel like we're working together. everybody has it in their heart they want to to something but people don't know how to do something and we're telling people if you could just come down and bring us a case of water, bring us deodorant or something, you're being a part of the solution and we're helping people. >> reporter: young dancers make good packers. >> today we have been packing all of niece bags for women, men and kids. >> reporter: eight-year-old isabella whose whole family is puerto rican understands simply sending hygiene products can do a world of good. >> i like helping and i don't want anybody to get sick or hurt. >> reporter: her uncle rick was in puerto rico during hurricane irma and his

heartbroken how much worse things have become after hurricane maria. >> it's one of the most beautiful places i've been to and i know that right now we're in crisis. we need help. we need help big time. >> reporter: to cap things off they're having latin dance night tonight where if you come $15 cover all goes towards puerto rico relief but if you can't make that or condone 98 things today, they're taking items from this point forward at algorithm dance studio in pennsauken. cleve bryan "eyewitness news." >> philadelphia police are looking for the gunman who critically wounded a man in east germantown. the shooting happened at germantown and abbottsford just about 1 o'clock this morning. police say the 20-year-old victim was shot in the head and leg. eyewitnesses told investigators they saw at least three men running from that seen. abington police investigating a deadly fall at lorimer park. a man accidentally fell from a 50-foot rock cliff near the main entrance along morton road. the cliff overlooks pennypack

creek. police were called to that scene after the victim's body was discovered in the creek about 10 o'clock this morning. investigators say the victim is 57 years old. his name hasn't been released just yet. philadelphia police searching for the person who fired a bullet that struck a six-year-old little boy. this happened at 24th and norris in north philly last night. police say the bullet traveled a block or sole, it hit jayden cisco in the shoulder. he was standing outside of his grandmother's home with his father and brother at the time. right now jayden is recovering at saint christopher's hospital. >> they have to wait until the swelling go down to see if they can take the bullet out. it's kind of hard for a little child. whew. it's kind of hard for all of us. you don't wish this on nobody. >> investigators are now examining surveillance video trying to get a better look at the gunman. and dozens gathered in center city today for the march to end rape culture. "eyewitness news" at thomas pane plaza this afternoon as people protested what they call the acceptance of sexual

>> this is not something you want to see from your airplane window. this air france flight had to make an emergency landing when one of its four engines became seriously damaged mid flight. so far no word on how the engine was damaged this morning. and no injuries were reported. also a volcano in and indonesia continues to send tremors across the island of bali tonight. about 70,000 who were told to evacuate earlier in the week are being allowed to go home after their area was deemed a safe zone. however, people from 27 other villages are still on high alert. and now to the latest in mexico city. impromptu memorials to victims and rescuers have sprung up everywhere as the capitol begins to come to terms with its losses. 38 buildings collapsed during mexico's 7.1 earthquake. white flowers and wreaths were piled up near the site where a school building collapsed killing 19 children and seven adults. in total, more than 350 people

were killed during that devastating quake. and now he presided over a pop culture phenomenon that would last more than 50 years. game show host monty hall the co-creator of let's make a deal passed away today. cbs news correspondent roxana saberi looks back at his life and legacy. >> reporter: monty hall gave away cars crash and other prizes as america's original deal maker. >> you have to love your audience. you have to show them that you love them. >> reporter: he hosted the hit game show let's make a deal for 20 years and often left contestants guessing whether they scored a pricey prize or useless clunker. hall helped make those gags or zonks as he called them a staple of the show. he was born in canada in 1921 as monty hal perrin. while working as a disk jockeys in the 40's his bosses pushed him to change his name. about a decade later hall crossed the border to new york where he continued in radio and hosted children's tv shows. but it was the 1963 debut of

let's make a deal that launched hall's tenure as one of america's enduring game show hosts. >> we were thrown into a time period that was a loser and the network said well if you want it you can have it but no show succeeded in this time period and we said we'll take it and of course the rest is history. >> reporter: he was also the show's co-creator. let's make a deal went on for decades bouncing between networks. the show returned to daytime tv in 2009 on cbs with wayne brady as host. >> ladies and gentlemen, monty hall. >> reporter: but hall was hired as a consultant and occasionally made guest appearances. [cheers and applause] >> reporter: he developed and produced several other game shows and received a lifetime achievement award at the 2013 daytime emmys. hall also volunteered with several charities and hosted an annual tennis tournament to benefit a diabetes center in los angeles. he once said philanthropy was one of the more important aspects of his life but he'll

likely be remembered most as a man who always knew how to make a deal. >> if a woman is going for a car and she loses it and still kisses you, you did something right. >> reporter: roxana saberi for cbs news. >> back here at home a local church joined forces with habitat for humanity philadelphia to improve access to affordable housing. bryn mawr presbyterian church had a blitz framing day t volunteers framed the first and second floor of the habitat for humanity home. the structure will be transferred to 16th and fontaine in north philadelphia child link hosted a big party at dillworth park today. they're celebrating 25 years of partnership with the philadelphia infant toddler early intervention program. the organizations help philadelphia kids from birth to age three at no cost to their families. chelsea is along with a

look at our forecast. certainly feeling a lot more like fall now. >> i know. did you see all those people wearing scarves and jackets outside. >> yeah, bundling up i know. >> a really chilly night in store for us natasha. i stepped out around dinnertime and i was shivering out there. getting kind of chilly out there and that's going to be the case as we head into the overnight hours. here's a live at our neighborhood network, boardwalk plaza in rehoboth. a couple people on the boards but they're bundled up as well because even the delaware beaches dealing with a little bit of a chilton night. 66 degrees, that was our official high temperature in philadelphia. notice that is well below the average for this time of year. the average high is right around about 72 degrees. and we're going to be just ever so slightly warmer as we head into tomorrow but not by a whole lot. throughout the work week you'll notice a warming trend taking effect. 54 degrees right now in philadelphia. we're down into the 40's already in some of our north and western suburbs.

it's 49 degrees in allentown. we're now down to 43 degrees in mount pocono. 48 in reading. in delaware we are at 53 and dover 54 degrees and down the shore 56 degrees right now in wildwood. it's right around 53 in atlantic city. we're checking in in millville around 54 degrees. look at the wind direction, coming out of the north so helping to pull in some of that chillier air that's going to be in place overnight and really throughout the rest of the weekend but notice the winds have subsided compared to where they were earlier today. it was rather breezy and that added a little bit of a bite to that chill in the air. but now winds are around 9 miles per hour in philadelphia, three in allentown, six in mount pocono. even after midnight the winds will continue to subside so that will contribute to our chilly night that i've been telling you is going to be setting up. so, here is where we'll be by tomorrow morning. a very cool start especially for places like mount pocono in the 30's. we can even see some patchy

frost in the poconos. that wouldn't surprise me. 41 tomorrow morning in allentown. 50 philadelphia. we're in the upper 40's by tomorrow morning in millville. low 50's to right around 50 degrees down the shore, 50 for atlantic city, 48 wilmington, 49 tomorrow morning in dover so don't be surprised when you wake up tomorrow morning and you feel the chill in the air. high pressure is going to be in control. we'll see wall to wall sunshine as we head into your sunday from the shore to the poconos, high pressure is really going to dominate the forecast through much of the week, so even on monday, we're just talking about some spectacular weather that is going to be heading our way. so, here's what you can expect across the region. tomorrow high temperature of 69 degrees in philadelphia, slightly warm area, 68 degrees down the shore, mostly sunny skies. we could have a couple of clouds around to start the day down the shore. here's a look at your eyewitness weather seven-day forecast. here is that slow but sure
