man responsible for sunday's massacre a federal spokeswoman said stephen paddock worked as a letter carrier and irs agent for nearly a decade in the 70 's and 80's. clark county sheriff said paddock had cameras set up inside and outside his room at mandalay bay hotel. there was also a camera in the service car just outside the room. meantime survivors are grabbling with the horror of sunday night. >> you don't expect to ever be in that situation, like you don't prepare for it, and you just, you just flight or fight is there so many people around you, they were all dropping. so they were hurt or they were injured or they were dead and we just kept running. >> all about three of the 59 victims have been identified, dozens of people who were hurt remain in critical condition. "eyewitness news" has learned one of the those 59 victims is a pennsylvania native, this is bill wolf, junior of shippensberg. he was a youth wrestling a

little league coach, his family said he and his wife rob written at the music festival for anniversary trip to las vegas. couple became separated during the attack his wife, survived, and a vigil for wolf was held in shippensberg last night. many returning from las vegas are still trying to come to grips with what they have experienced, even those who weren't at the concert were still traumatized by the ordeal. we caught up with some of them at philadelphia international airport today. >> i feel like i'm on the verge of tears every time i think bit. it has been an emotional weekend for us. it happened this sunday night. we were at the hotel. >> we might not have the grief aspect but you have that shock aspect. you have that americans being in a will be down situation and in longer in conn troll. >> i'm just thankful i was than the injured. >> some people are gathering in center city right to you

for is what being called a vigil for victims in las vegas "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan is there where things are just getting started it looks like, cleve. >> reporter: ukee when there was a mass shooting in orlando for pulse nightclub philadelphians held a vigil. tonight organizers say they find themselves in the same place physically and emotionally mourning massive loss of life this time in las vegas. standing right beside me is line up of speakers. we have governor wolf as well as attorney general josh shapiro, mayor jim kenney and council president darryl clark will speak as well as pulse nightclub shooting survivor. the organizer for tonight's event is seized fire pa and before the vigil tonight i caught up with the executive direct on air and said outrage , has to lead to discussion about future mass shootings. >> we know people need to mourn and grief, people are stunned an horrified so we want to bring people together, to make it a call to action not just moment of silence or

not just a vigil but to say we have enough and here are steps we can take and together here's how we make this change >> reporter: seized fire pa is holding a similar rally in pittsburgh, pennsylvania tonight as they try to speak about the issues of federal, office, state and local levels about guns and other issues related to violence. again, you can see there is quite a line up of speakers for this evening's program which is about to get underway any moment now. we will have more on this rally, tonight on "eyewitness news" at 11:00. live from center city, cleve bryan, follow. cb3 "eyewitness news". >> cleve, thanks very much. a toddler is dead tonight after a car crash in bucks county. the driver is in custody. police say crash happened after that driver stole items from a nearby store. "eyewitness news" reporter greg argos is live in tulleytown with more, greg. >> reporter: jessica as you mentioned this started with a simple retail theft but it ended with that two-year old toddler dead and we just spoke with tulleytown police chief

daniel doyle and he gave us more insight into exactly what happened. i want to show you video from a short while ago at bristol pike, thinks where that accident happened, it was a three car accident shortly after 12:15 where the tulleytown police responded to a retail theft at wal-mart here at levittown, town center , the suspect leaving this area, southbound on route 13 which is also bristol pike we're told when he t bone, ran through a red light and t boned one other car that spun and hit a third car. a two-year old toddler in the suspect's vehicle was eject and we're told by the police chief that suspect stepped over that two-year old toddler and then tried running from police, police tackled him put him in custody tried to perform cpr on this toddler but it was too late that two-year old toddler died here at the scene. it is a very tragic story unfolding, police working the scene for hours, they have just opened up the roadway behind me. we still have unanswered

questions and police here in tulleytown working to get those answers. they are not sure what the relationship was with the two-year old toddler in that vehicle and suspect himself but that suspect is in custody facing a slew of charges, we will continue to follow this story right now but that is latest live from tulleytown i'm greg argos for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> greg, thank you. we have an update on a mass math situation at a south philadelphia chemical plant. authorities are telling people in nearby business toss shelter in place as fire crews continue to respond there. chopper three over columbus boulevard near oregon avenue. hazmat team is focusing on a unknown substance leaking from one of the tanks. traffic note as well columbus boulevard is shut down in that area so far no injuries have been reported. president trump traveled to puerto rico to meet with victims and officials there and he defended federal response to hurricane maria. president met with first responders in san juan and thanked people like puerto rico's governor who praised

a family fight with breast cancer, and we're not just talking about just one patient but four people, in one willow grove family, are all, fighting breast cancer. >> health reporter stephanie stahl is here with more on their very brave battle. >> boy are they brave, guys. instead of feeling sorry for themselves this montgomery county family is celebrating life, at the time they have together. they have an important message for all of you, as we recognize breast cancer awareness month, and it can happen to anyone, even men. >> i soon realized i was a strange inner this strange world. >> reporter: chris conyers is dictating for a book about his battle with breast cancer. >> chemo treatment were difficult.

>> reporter: he is writing it with his wife, fran who also had breast cancer. >> we change the beginning. >> reporter: their story is about the power of knowledge, joy of love, finding silver linings even when faced with bad news from doctors. >> i don't feel cursed. >> reporter: some might, considering that not only does the willow grove couple, coincidently share a history of breast cancer, so does their daughters who both tested positive for the brca two gene. >> we feel bless because of the fact that we were able to find out and take pro active steps. >> reporter: they both decided to mastectomy toss redecember risk of, eventually developing breast cancer. >> making the decision was not hard. >> they were all very close, supportive. >> reporter: but there is tons of family support. >> hello. >> reporter: and happy distraction was five rambunctious grandchildren. >> look at this one. >> reporter: chris makes sure to enjoy every moment, his cancer has spread to his lungs , liver and eye. >> christmas a wonderful

attitude about all of it, so that makes life a lot easier. >> relentless is word that comes to mind because it has been, my mom had reoccurrence, my dad, and it just feels like , you know, it has been tough. >> reporter: they worry about little kid inheriting cancer gene which came from chris. >> that really bothered me for a while but here i passed something on that could be dangerous to my children. >> reporter: instead of the dwelling on their bad luck this family is focusing on raising awareness about the importance of early detection. >> the two girls both said to us but you don't understand you saved our lives, and that was a wonderful feeling. >> reporter: how about that. now chris and his family have been very involved with the komen organization, first as a resource and now they are especially interested in aware ness and research for metastatic breast cancer, which is what christmas but they are really what an amazing family. >> you said it. >> thanks, stephanie.

above food stand. so far there is a couple trees changing over, most of the leaves in the square are still green at this point but this spot in a couple of weeks is going to be an awesome place to check out the fall foliage because our average peak of the fall colors in the philadelphia area is late october. same case for south jersey and parts of the delaware as well, little bit sooner though to plan that hike and leaf peeping in the lehigh valley and pokeness as our average peak time for fall foliage with the red, orange and yellow breaking out is mid-october. kate, i know my dogs, edgar and chichi have been bugging me to hit the trails in the poconos. they really like delaware water gap. they are very particular. this weekend unfortunately isn't going to provide that beautiful fall weather, so i have to go home and tell ed and chi, maybe next weekend for that hike because we will

be feeling summer like. kind of bummed out. >> oh, lauren, it is not going to feel like fall but we still got many, many more weekends to come late october is your time to get out with the puppies inn i'm sure they will like the hike in the heat. you will see what is happening in the poconos and as lauren says thinks where fall color is peeking sooner, mid-october is when we will see peak in the poconos. we are starting to see color on our cameras but notice sun starting to go down, starting to get a little duck-like outside as we head toward sunset which is in 20 minutes or so. storm scan three, weather-wise out there high pressure in control. cloud, showers off to the north, this next front will impact our forecast eventually , you can see showers moving through portions of the midwest, much cooler air behind this front up across upper midwest and in the meantime we are sitting pretty, these temperatures are gorgeous. they are falling off daytime high, 74 today. seventy-one in philadelphia 68

in trenton. 69 degrees in millville. as we take a look at our warming trend you can see temperatures on the upswing. on sunday we only had highs in the 60's, yesterday, 74, today 74. yesterday was 75. wednesday 77 and then look at how warm it will get temperatures in the 80es a, thursday, friday and saturday, humidity ram pink up as well saturday looks like the peak of this little warming trend as this front approaches. sunny most of the week through next couple days we will see good deal of sunshine but as we watch this front approach it will start to warm up, the front does set southward into thursday and friday. thursday with just some cloud friday a chance for scattered showers from the city on north and then what happens thinks front will lift back to the north as a warm front and we will get in the warm sector of an approaching low that is what ramps temperatures up into saturday. look at what to expect tomorrow, it looks fine, thursday a few cloud start to creep in and that clears out quickly but then friday watch
