since we were knee-high to a grasshopper. >> reporter: just to get to north queensland was an adventure. we drove over two hours, crossing the mighty wenlock river. to catch a croc. >> today, we're going to be doing the trap run. we're going to get in the boat, go down the river, and hopefully see if we have crocs in traps. it is going to be awesome. >> reporter: you know you're a rookie when every log in the water looks like a crocodile. >> we call them log-odiles. get down. we've got one. >> how do you know it could be a big crocodile? >> because it's a big croc. you hear it hissing? it was aggressive. >> we call for the rest of the team at this point. it took 16 time to wrangle big dunk. this 15-foot beast weighed roughly 1500 pounds. >> you're part of our family now. >> am i dreaming? >> congratulations, love. this is amazing. >> well done.
