inside the las vegas shooting dramatic new video shows officers under fire as they arrived on the scene and try to take down the suspect. inside sunday's massacre. and a photo that shows a father an son in happier time. that man is under arrest and that toddler is dead after a crash in bucks county. crime police say his father committed moments before the deadly crash. fall-like now but don't put away shorts and short sleeves just yet, summer, well , it business to make a come back. it is wednesday october 4th good morning i'm jim donovan. i'm rahel solomon. lets check the forecast with katie and traffic with meisha, good morning, guys. >> happy hump day looking outside and everything is

looking g nice, dry roadways but we have a few accidents out there. >> yes. >> yes. >> off to a busy start very quiet, at the desk more of the same, storm scan still empty staying that way for yet another entire day and with it nice and clear like you this can expect to see warmer sunshine and temperatures to rebound efficiently. with every passing day we have had a modest increase of the thermometer and we have upped our expectations when it comes today time highs as well, beyond today. so we will get to that later in the show how warm will it in fact, get but for now you want to walk out the door likely with an extra layer. is it as cool as yesterday? it is not. look at mount pocono. you will drop off from 51 degrees, a few more before the sunrisees but it is markedly milder by comparison out there in that area. now you are in the mid to upper 40's in the outlining suburbs outside the city so it is still cool but not chilly per se, in every single location if you are back in the mid 50's, beyond here.

with time we will rebound just a few additional degrees from yesterday's highs, 78 the spec tation in the city, plenty of sunshine in the resorts of the poconos and shore, meisha so another really nice day but warmer. >> we will take that. thanks very much, katie. good morning. we are looking outside. i want to call your attention to we have had a chemical leak that happened around 3:00 p.m. right now because of that columbus boulevard is still closed between oregon avenue and packer avenue. just a head up on. that you can see crews outside with flashing lights out there , very early this morning do i not necessity how long this will be closed but when we have any additional details i will let you know. then we are looking the that construction project we will get used to it, schuylkill westbound at 30th street it was closed, now one lane has just opened. you can see cones on the roadway there and around that area, not really around but resurfacing project schuylkill westbound between blue route and gulph mills that has been since cleared but we have some construction in bucks county

95 north southbound route one. we will talk about this coming up in the next 10 minutes, jim and rahel back to you. girlfriend of the man police say killed more than 50 people in the deadliest shooting in recent u.s. history is back in the u.s. >> she was not in the country during sunday night's violence in las vegas. marry lou danley arrived from the philippines overnight and being called a person of interest in the investigation of her boyfriend stephen paddock and las vegas mass shooting. we are seeing body cam footage from police responding to the sunday night shootings that killed 59 people, including the gun man, and injured more than 500. in addition to that video we are also seeing hallway, take a look near paddock's room at mandalay bay hotel there were cameras set up, presumably to spot anyone coming for him, correspondent kennett craig has more details and latest information from las vegas. >> new photos from inside the hotel suite where stephen paddock staged the deadliest mass shooting in modern u.s. history show him dead on the

floor surrounded by spent ammunition. other photos and video capture various rifles scattered throughout the room, police found 23 guns and rifle as long with 12 bump stocks, devices added to semiautomatic guns that allowed, wrapped firing like fully automatic weapons. las vegas officials say from his 32nd floor perch at mandalay bay casino resort paddock unloaded his weapons on a country music festival below. he set up cameras including one on the food service cart outside his room. >> there was another camera placed inside the hotel room door peephole to see down the hall way. >> reporter: paddock once worked for the postal service and irs agent. in recent years he spent his time gambling. leading up to the shooting paddock transferred $100,000 to the philippines, where his girlfriend, marry lee danley is believed to be right now. police say she's a person of interest in that the fbi is bringing her back to the u.s.,

on wednesday. officials are analyzing paddock's computer and cell phone, and also reviewing surveillance video. here at the crime scene they are picking through, what concert goers left behind. at a memorial along the las vegas strip people left flowers, and embraced. >> i'm so fortunate i made it out. it was surreal. >> reporter: president trump will visit las vegas wednesday kennett craig for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". just to reiterate marry lou danley is new back in the country. pennsylvania native is among 58 victims killed in the attack, bill of shippensberg. his family said he and his wife rob written at that music festival during a anniversary trip to vegas. the couple got separated, robin survived, bill did not. last night a vigil for wolfe was million-dollar shippens berg. philadelphia is remembering victims of the violence in vegas.

initially criticized the administration for its response to the hurricane. >> i hate to tell you puerto rico but you have thrown our budget a little out of whack because we have spent a lot of money on puerto rico and that is fine we have saved a lot of lives. every death is a horror but if you look at, a real catastrophe like katrina, 16 people verse in the thousands, you can be very proud of all of your people, all of our people working together. >> this moment, with hurricane victims is generating lots of reaction the president throwing rolls of paper tolls in the crowd as he helped to distribute supplies. former first lady michelle obama was in philadelphia taking part in the pennsylvania conference for woman. "eyewitness news" at convention center in center city where mrs. obama sat down for a wide ranging conversation with television producer sandra rhymes. she talk about the importance of empowering young girls so they can achieve their full potential later in life.

>> 4:43. >> katie has another check of the forecast. it looks like we're in for a warming trend. >> indeed, we are, we're going to take a couple weeks to backtrack here when it comes to temperature readings we will find out there but we do have a lot to discuss when it comes to the overall pattern in our atmosphere, frontal boundary approaching it looks more menacing by the time it gets here. the thing with this one it gets hung up nearby and it will just stall out to our north. that does mean we will see a couple days that bring in some showers, no wash out expect i will put that out there right new but it allows warmth to keep surgeoning in and we will keep warming up here. we're talking about multiple days in the low to mid 80's. elsewhere we are still keeping an eye on tropics, hurricane season still going on and possibility that there is two areas right now showers and storms, two separate areas may develop into something bigger. here's one, other is down here and this is the one that may end up, becoming, the best

company originally said 1 billion users were affect but disclosed breach last december and recently got confirmation showing the hack was bigger than originally thought. investigation found that the stolen user account information did not include payment card data or bank account information. yahoo is advising users to change pass word and security questions and answers for any other accounts. former president and ceo of equifax will testify in front of the senate banking committee today about that hack that put the data of 145 million americans at risk. richard smith got a public scolding at a congressional subcommittee hearing yesterday he takes full responsibility for the hack and technological and human error were responsible. time 4:50. time for a check of business news. >> hanna doba joins us from the insuring stock exchange. good morning, hand a we are trying to make friendlier skies a little bit more friendly for those heading to las vegas. >> reporter: in the wake of the las vegas shooting, air

welcome back everyone, i know this is one of rahel's favorite spots. >> it is such a beautiful site here, so quaint, so quiet, you can tell that the schuylkill river is very, very much indeed, tranquil this morning. the wind vice light, skies are generally very clear and we may see fog develop and that might even develop along the schuylkill before it is said and done but at the moment still a clear view as you travel around. now, traffic may not be exactly like that but weather should have zero impact say for minor fog issues across the region here in your morning drive that should not
