traveling anywhere around the schuylkill. we will get more coming up in a bit. >> it looks like weather will still hold for us we have a front still approaching. sun glare may be a problem out there once it does rise which is closer to 7:00 a.m. but in the meantime as we look at this wider zoom on storm scan you can see the front starting to approach. it does look like at this point it is going to get close enough that north and west of the city, you end up with a shower primarily for later in the day and towards night fall that will take place. potentially, skew ago this view of the harvest moon tonight but regardless not everyone will get hit by that. we will talk about timing later in the broadcast but as you walk out the door this morning look at these temperatures. unbelievably mild, especially mount pocono just 62 degrees and we are only 63 at philly international. still dry regional wide upper 50's down in wilmington and we do eventually warm up efficiently here in advance of this frontal boundary a notice

measures to look out for our friends on motorcycles. they are still out there fatal crash earlier this morning schuylkill eastbound past university avenue all lanes are block. you are being diverted on to university avenue the it vin gation will last two to three hours. jim, back over to you. developing overnight u.s. army special operations commandos air monk those killed in the ambush in the african country of niger, the troops were providing training and assistance to local forces when they came under hostile fire wednesday. they say they were likely attack by militants with ties to al qaeda. two other commandos were also injured, they are said to be in stable condition. authorities continue to try and decipher motive behind the las vegas shooting. >> gunman stephen paddock killed 58 people and hurt 500 others, and these graphic images may be disturbing to some viewers. here's correspondent omar jimenes. >> run, don't walk, run, go.

take root. we know that we have not been able to stop this. >> the las vegas gunman had an arsenal of weapons in his hotel suite, including bump fire stocks. organizers of the gun show in montgomery county say they will stress importance of gun safety. gun october february begins tomorrow at greater philadelphia expo center in oaks. the debate over gun control and the bump fire stocks used in the las vegas shooting will be front and center. event organizers say the nation need to come together on a divisive topic. >> right now it always seems when an unfortunate incident like this happens that right away one side wants to ban guns, the other side doesn't want to do anything. i think we have to sit down and have a rational discussion where we go forward in this country. >> reporter: currently there are no laws restricting the sales of the bump fire stocks in our area. new this morning a shooting in north philadelphia kills one man and sent another man and teen to the hospital this happened on the 2500 block of north dover street

just after 11:30 last night. office's arrived and found all three shooting victims a man in his 20's was shot in the head, he died at the hospital, another man and a 17 year-old boy are in stable condition. they tell "eyewitness news" they found shell casing from two different guns. >> we know two guns were used, possibly two shooters or one shooter with two guns, we're not certain at this time. >> eyewitnesses say they saw shooter flee in the white van. also new an overnight fire destroys pizza shop in chalfont bucks county. smoke poured out of the building on west butler avenue at least four fire companies put out the flames. the build ago peers to be charred, no injuries were reported and no word on what, caused this fire. meantime police in bucks county are looking for two men who abducted and sexually assaulted a woman in the state park, this happened at lake noxamixon park monday night. victim said she was on the victim pier when two men forced her in the car. they drove her to another part

of the park and raped her. they are looking for two men in their early 20's. investigators believe they were driving a silver honda civic. police arrested a new jersey man caught taking a picture up a woman's skirt in gloucester county. surveillance captured the incident in wal-mart in turner ville. you can see him put his cell phone under the skirt, turns around, confront that is suspect. man lifted his phone as he walked away and then spotted running through parking lot at this point police have not release that had suspect's name. delaware day care worker is facing charges after police say she assaulted an 11 month-old girl, that infant ended up with a broken leg. thirty-one year-old amber worthy an employee at happy kid academy turned herself in yesterday. investigators say worthy repeatedly hit the infant last week while trying to get her to go to sleep. she's now freon $20,000 bail. member of the pennsylvania 's pennsylvania delegation has been caught up in a scandal involving an extra marital affair and says he will retire at the end of

his current term. congressman tim murphy announced the decision a day after text messages surfaced showing he suggested his mistress have an abortion despite the congressman's pro life stance. at the time, both thought she was pregnant but it turned out that she was not. murphy represents the pittsburgh area. prosecutors in the federal corruption trial of new jersey senator bob menendez say that his co-defendant, donated more than half million-dollar to menendez supporters. they are trying to tie the donations, by florida eye doctor salmon melgen to lobby ing done by menendez. menendez and melgen both deny there was a bribery arrangement, the trial is now in its fifth week. the trial of a mad rahami in new york victims are reliving terror they felt when a explosion rocked the manhattan fitness club last year. rahami is accused of injuring 30 people in the day long bombing spree in december 2016 we have newly released video of that explosion and in the

chelsea neighborhood. one victim a blind woman testified that she felt absolute terror. another vick till in the wheelchair said the explosion felt like doomsday. another investigation on the campus of the penn state university after a student suspected of drinking at a fraternity, is found unconscious. dell a tao delta is suspended now during the investigation. last week an 18 year-old was hospitalized after being discovered in the parking lot after falling. he is now recovering. all penn state frats are ban ned from holding social events in the wake of the death of timothy piazza. piazza died in the alcohol fueled hazing ritual in february. in other news this morning the salvation army is sending more help from our area to puerto rico, team is flying out of philadelphia international airport this morning, the group is made up of staff, volunteers from the salvation army of eastern pennsylvania and delaware. they are headed to the island to help with hurricane maria relief efforts. they will give out food, drinking water and emergency supplies to those in need, the team will be there for at lee two weeks.

well, a new report is warning pennsylvania drivers that your chances of hitting a deer are getting worse. the survey from state farm ranks pennsylvania third in the u.s. for deer-related crashes. last year alone 12 people were killed in the state in accidents involving deer. officials say use your high beams or honk if you see deer near the road but what if you don't have time to get out of the way? >> impact with the deer is imminent use your brakes, do not swerve, swerving not only confusing the deer but in addition it can put motorist in harms way. >> deer are most active at dawn and dusk, that is why they are so dangerous, as we lose sunlight in the fall and winter. if you hit one you're advised to pull over and call police. a driver lead school police officers on a wild chase in california. >> we will tell you what officers say that driver did that started the whole thing. police of hissers were investigating a fatal crash in new jersey when two

three officers in union city, new jersey are expected to survive after being hit while investigating an accident. it started last night when a teen was hit and killed by a garbage truck while police were on the scene, two motorcycles barreled through the area, three officers were hospitalized as a result. one motorcycle driver crashed and expect to survive, another one escaped police are investigating that crash. meanwhile in california los angeles school police chased down a suspect in the pickup truck wanted for reckless driving. police say driver cut off a school bus yesterday afternoon almost causing an accident. video shows suspect blowing through red lights, stop signs , even driving on the wrong side of the road. he eventually got out of his car and tried to run. police caught up with him a short time later. >> they normally seem too. >> i don't understand. you think we watched enough

big time behind it, we don't have that opportunity with this system. now in addition to that we are keeping a close watch on the tropics, tropical depression 16 formed yesterday, very likely that will be tropical storm nate and that might bring us some moisture into next mid week and we could get soaking rain potentially by that time frame but any precipitation we do see should be scattered, now we should get through good portion of the day without a hit. kid getting out, most of them will walk out from school later today with dry conditions but some of those showers look at this really starting to fire up. if this end up verifying that is soaking rain scattered and very localized but up toward lehigh valley poconos region or north on that northeast extension you can get clobbered on. that we will keep a close eye on the radar and right now this model keeps philadelphia dry. now as we take a look elsewhere talking about what is going on tonight we have got harvest moon. we talk about that earlier in the week. this is full moon closes to
