warm outlook expected as well. lets look at storm scan it is all clear locally we have a frontal boundary heading our way. it is not going to clear the region, however but gets hung up and all we can do is justin the warming trend and keep humidity the rise for next few days. because this front is making a too close of the impact for comfort you have to throw in the potential that we will see a shower and brief, locally heavy downpour from the city on north and toward late day and early evening. now these aren't your actual temperatures ratherrer dew points. they are higher then they have been in recent mornings. you are still only in the 50's across southeast pennsylvania but starting to creep up in south jersey and southern delaware. looking at the air temperature , yeah, mild outside. more noticeable breeze, not a strong wind but much more noticeable today. sixty-two the current temperature at the airport. that is really mild, guys. as we move forward in the forecast come 3:00 p.m. we will see more cloud building

in but it is still warm, all the way up to 81 degrees and watch for a shower especially north and west of the city and mainly around that time is when things could get underway in that regard, meisha. >> katie, thanks very much. for those of you at home just waking up in case you have not heard we had a fatal crash that happened on the schuylkill, a little earlier this morning before 3:00 a.m. involving a motorcycle and vehicle. where is this? schuylkill past university avenue we are looking at video shot earlier. all lanes right now are still closed, and traffic is being diverted on to university avenue. so if we can switch to that live picture outside i will show you what we are working with traveling schuylkill eastbound toward university avenue and being diverted. take a look at this, bumper to bumper conditions almost completely stopped, we have been monitoring this all morning long since we went live at 4:30. this is pretty much what it has looked like all morning long and only starting to stockpile more and more as we

push toward 6:00 o'clock hour and they are expecting the investigation to go on for the next two to three hours. meaning this will carry us through our main rush hour. you can only imagine what it will get like on the eastbound schuylkill heading toward university avenue and even if you are diverted on to university avenue it is just going to be so, slow, so if you can avoid this area at all cost, you certainly will want to do so. rahel and jim, back over to you. >> meisha, thank you. another alcohol fueled incident involving a penn state fraternity. >> as the student recovers the university has place that had fraternity on suspension. "eyewitness news" reporter trang do is live from the cbs-3 news center with more on the incident, trang do. >> reporter: jim and rahel, penn state has already been dealing with the high pre file fraternity scandal following alcoholic related death of timothy piazza back in february. that fraternity is permanently banned from campus. delta tao dealt ace on interim suspension while investigators looking into why a student was hurt while allegedly drinking

at fraternity house. penn state delta tao delta fraternity under scrutiny after police found a student unresponsive in the parking lot last friday around 1:00 a.m. investigators suspect that the 18 year-old male student was heavily intoxicated when he tripped and fell and was knock unconscious. >> it is a common thing in college campuses, whether it be, greek life, you are talking about drinking there is a lot of drinking on college campuses on this country. >> reporter: while office of student conduct looks in the matter the university has suspended delta tao delta on a interim basis this latest black eye on greek life comes under increased social restrictions on fraternities following the death of timothy piazza in february during a fall during a alcohol related ritual. the piazza family wrote this serious situation is an important test of the resolve of penn state, to enforce their commitment to new regulations and policies. students cbs news spoke to say

eligible for less frequent examinations. google unveils a second generation smart phone and other hardware at its latest showcase, new pixel two smart phone comes in two sizes, they have aluminum bodies and no traditional jacks forehead phones. smart phone, speakers and other hardware are pack with artificial intelligence, google hopes it gives them an edge over similar devices made by amazon and apple. dunkin' donuts is down sizing its menu at many locations, the chain will offer just 18 doughnut varieties instead of the 30, idea toys streamline quality and service and to focus on featured, flavors. the changes reportedly kick in at the end of this month. jim and rahel back to you. >> sounds like a good ideay don't think so. >> it is called dunkin' donuts , i want a variety. >> you are probably phasing out more obscure doughnuts nobody boost and most doughnuts people buy will be better quality. >> they had one with pretzels on top, that was a good stuff.

potentially but this is front i was talking about triggering a few showers and some of them locally drenching downpours across north central pennsylvania. that will basically just crawl south east and because of that we are just on the edge of it. leading to the potential for some wet weather. already getting the wrap. i do want to give you a sense where we are heading. let me jump you right to the seven day forecast. expect humidity to stick around and be noticeable on the saturday. sunday, spotty shower but monday we could get drenched. we have to keep a close watch on tropical moisture by then, meisha. >> thanks very much. good morning everyone. really quickly all morning long we have been talking about this fatal crash that happened early this morning, before 3:00 a.m., involving a met or cycle and vehicle. schuylkill eastbound, past university avenue all lanes still closed, traffic being diverted on to university avenue, you can get to the live shot, bumper to bumper conditions out there and if they are saying another one to two hours, being diverted, another one to two hours

before, that investigation should get underway. so, wrapped, rather just a head up. tim, help me out. there you go. accident schuylkill westbound ramp, that ramp is closed because of it. another accident in wood town, new jersey, it is still out there, there we go, clicker giving me some problems again. route 40 closed near route 45 your alternate will be route 322. we have another accident in havertown involving injuries, clicker, come on there, buddy, there we go, eagle road at west chester pike, bumper to bumper conditions through here as well. we have multiple accidents out there, already. but really it is the schuylkill that you want to pay attention to. avoid the area around university avenue, bumper to bumper, rahel, back to you. >> it is a very busy area, meisha, thank you. with flu season around the corner health officials are urging people to get a flu shot before the influenza virus starts to spread this year. is there a best time to get a vaccine. family physician doctor jennifer cuddle is here to give our team a flu shot.

>> so there are different strains, specific types, does it depend. >> we want everyone over six months. >> there you go. >> you are done. >> look at that. >> not a tear in the eye. >> we want everybody over six months on get a flu vaccine everyone qualifies there, are some people that do not qualify just check with your doctor, they will be able to tell if you still qualify. >> if you have any borns around, that you as a parent or family member are getting a flu shot too if you have a little one around. >> caretaker, if you are a parent, all of those things and more people that get the flu shot the more general population is protected because there are little babies, that are not old enough, one of the ways we protect them is by everybody else getting it. >> very important. >> how long does vaccine last does it last through the whole season. >> yes, it does. >> just that within year a lot of people get a concern. >> there we go. >> a little pinch. >> look at you. >> she doesn't even look back.
