president trump expressed his support for the move tweeting, i asked vice-president pence to leave the stadium if any players nealed disrespecting our kupty. i'm proud of him. after the game, 49er safety eric read said pence's walkout looked like a pr stunt. >> we have had the most twitter protest and he knew we would probably do it again. >> 49ers are former team of colin kaepernick who began kneeling during the anthem last year to protest the treatment of minorities in america. the protest started spreading to other teams and players. and last month, president trump called on the nfl to ban them. >> wouldn't you love to see one of these nfl owners when somebody disrespect our flag to say get that son of a [bleep] off the field right now. he's fired. >> his comments sparked more protest with some linking, kneeling, or raising fist. some responded with event in massachusetts where dozen of

people burn new england patriots' jerseys. >> it sends a great message to nfl in deviceive type action will not be tolerated on sunday some teams including indianapolis colts continue to lock arms in a sichb unity. in new york, roxanna sabari cbs3 eyewitness news. >> and well one man is dead tonight and another in critical condition after a double shooting in north philadelphia. this shooting happened 2400 block of arlington street after:30 this afternoon. and police say one of the victims was found just outside of open car door and pronounced dead on the scene. a second victim was taken to temple university hospital where he remains in critical condition. investigate istors say there could be more than one assailant. >> it appears that both victims were shot by a different assailant. at this point we don't think they were shooting at each other. >> multiple shell casings were found on that scene and the windows of the victims car

were shot out. information about the victims including identities was not pleadly available. homicide detectives are currently interviewing witnesses in the case. >> and developing tonight, a two vehicle crash in gloucester township leaves several people dead and injured. this accident happened on sic sicklerville road dunnlan lane just before 5 p.m., three people were flown to cooper hospital and they could not immediately say how many people died in this crash. sicklerville road between jarvis and mullen drive was closed for several hours. no word yet on what caused the crash. >> a woman is is injured and four other people are left homeless after a blaze that destroyed two homes overnight. these photos showed the flames that poured out of a home on the 4400 block of win gate street in the holmesburg section of philadelphia. fire crews got the call just before 1:00 in the morning and the blaze grew to two alarms quukly and engulfed a second home. authorities say an injured

woman was transported to torresdale hospital. four people and a pet living in those two homes are now displaced. no word on a cause just yet. >> and let's get you the latest now on hurricane nate. it's just a tropical depression at this point. the storm quickly lost strength after making land fall last night. nate slammed south eastern louisiana as a category one storm on saturday evening. and early sunday it was still category one storm when it made a second land fall near biloxi, mississippi, residents in that reeming orwere bracing for mother nature's wrath anden stayed they were relieved. >> we kept hearing the surge surges, surges, we'll get rain and all this rain and one time said we would not have church today i said it's a beautiful day we he could have had church. >> storm surge flooded low lying areas including casino row a popular tourist destination and for the most part the region was spared and the cleanup is underway. nate was third hurricane to hit the u.s. main lands in just six weeks.

comcast business. >> eyewitness news continues after week after 5 were shot dead in las vegas. they don't know what drove stephen paddock to kill but it is clear he wanted to end as many lives as he could. correspondent jamie yucas has the story from las vegas. >> today parishioners of church as cross las vegas came together hoping to heal. for sarah reader the wound is still raw. >> it's really hard. >> i don't know about you i felt like is with kicked in the gut. >> at good samaritan lutheran church he has been counseling church members all week who were at the shooting and he says some are experiencing survivorer's guilt. >> i heard that phrase said maybe half a dozen times. i feel like i could have done more or should have done more

>> and in orange beach, bam baxt, residents captured this water spout on the gulf of mexico. forecasters say remnants of hurricane nate helped to generate that weather phenomenon. those are amazing as well, lauren. >> huge water spout. >> i tweeted that. >> did you really. >> i must have miss tid would have retweet today. >> look at this morning's. >> we'll start to feel effect of nate, too. >> nate is tropical depression hurricane center stopped eric ewing add vaseryes in the system. it will bring us a lot of moisture for the day tomorrow. so, dust off that umbrella, you're going to need. it tomorrow, today, we picked up first measurable rainfall in philadelphia and about 2.5 weeks time and we still have the low clouds looming and you can feel all of that moisture when you step outside and 77 degrees as we get a live look center city philadelphia. it's a come point enter to the wind flow ush earring warmth

and moisture. feeling like 78. extremely warm den today topped at 81. normal high temperature now fallen back into the 60s. well beyond that and we started day off extremely mild at 74 degrees. all is quiet and as we get a live look on neighborhood network rehoboth beach out and about. everyone tucked n it's sunday evening but breezy. and we'll see the breezy conditions persist through the day tomorrow. especially along the coast. but even in the city we could see wind gust 0 to 25 miles an hour tomorrow temperatures now know they're warm, 6. wilmington and still 73 allentown and uler 60s in mount pocono and early october that is atypically warm and atypical and these dew points so sticky and hugh xd dew points to 0s. we're talking florida like humidity in october. and it will stay gross unfortunately as we head into the day tomorrow as well with dew points. at the same level so dealing with oppressive to insufferable humidity because

of tropical moisture due to nate and we scale things back comfort wise into midweek starting to feel more comfortable with dew points dropping and overnight tonigh tonight, muggy, it is warm only falling back to 7. showers likely. and then for our day tomorrow you will need that umbrella. period of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms possible. again unseasonably warm with high tim tour near 80. storm scan 3 starting to sew activity picking up west of i-95. with a couple of downpours now cruising their way through moving pretty rapidly norp portions of berks county and upper bucks county and those push up into the lehigh valle valley. we have much more moisture to contend with. this is what is left of nate right now. and all of this moisture will continue to move its way north and east as we head into the next 24 hours. for the morning periods heavy rain especially in the city from about 9:00 on and then around midday we'll see tropical like downpours and isolated thunderstorms and then some improvement as we head into the afternoon.

bulk of moisture exits and we start so see scattered showers welcomeerring around and fruit tour weather shows us that. throughout the overnight periods scattered showers especially west of city. future weather showing us we could have a dry for most areas early morning commute. then as we head to second half of that morning the widespread swaj of precipitation over spreading delaware valley with those pockets of heavy rainfall. could even see localized frod flooding as we head into afternoon hours and main moisture moves offshore and lingering scattered showers and rumle of thunder as we head to late day and evening showers and tuesday clearing things out. wet one across the region tomorrow. heaviest rain will fall norm and west of the city and still period of rain down the shore and breezy conditions as well. and then we dry things out into tuesday. another extremely warm day. sunshine, 84 degrees. we're cooler by wednesday, 74. and then finally falling back to seasonable levels with general cloudyness as we head

step-year-old is helping pets after they became homeless with hurricane harvey. >> jackson says he loves animal and every note he plays is going for a worthy cause. playing outside his home in austin jackson managed to raise more than 9 0 0 in a few days and played outside austin city limit music festivals. >> they don't have families anymore and they need new families. >> i love pets and app malls and want to help them out. >> austin also raised money for the cause charming $40 for arching one day and donating some proceeds to austin pets alive and keeping some for their band as well. as for jack sop he came close to his goal raising $9 45. close to the thousand he hoped to raise. we'll be right back. stay wit
