through the better part of the midday, and because it is moving along so quickly, we're going to see that primarily happen, you know, again during the midday, then by the time we're wrapping up typical evening rush there is whole thing is basically moving out. so, a lot of times, tropical systems can get stuck, or move really slowly. that does mean that maybe you have some minor ponding on the roadways through the bulk of the heaviest rainfall, but the timing, likely to not ends up more than three, .4 of an inch in some spots. see heavier rounds of rain to the north and west. poconos, part of the wells, more inland suburbs, likely to see maybe bit more. but notice, when we look at future weather, important to note, this is a dollars mole. when you look at the timing here, we may have already finished up typical morning drive by the time the soaking rain is moving in. it will be a soggy lunchtime frame. unless you're off for columbus day here, it might be good excuse to order lune until as opposed to going out for t but looks like real soggy afternoon.
4:47 am
then we are really just left with the spotty residual showers toward night fall. we should clear things out by the time kate's back on the air later tonight. she probably won't have much to track locally, which is good for a tropical system, again it, will mean that we really don't have any major issues with what's left of nate. seventy is the current dew point, though, that's something incredibly noticeable. the comfort, or the lack thereof, it feels down right oppressive outside. so bad hair day, guys, not only because of the rain, but also, because of that really high humidity, whether it is raining or not. and look at this, most of the forecast is still substantially above average. normal high, 69 degrees. the only days we come close to that really are thursday, friday, and do expect couple of showers from mid week on, back to you. >> all right, good to know, thanks, katie, good morning, everybody, happy monday. from the world of travel, all we're looking at construction, do have construction, 422, looks kinds of busy. see the cones in the roadway, were seeing flashing light as well. hopefully crews are starting to move out of the way. where is this, 422, eastbound,

beautiful picture deceive you, if i'm not mistaken, is that angus shot? yes, saw him out there this morning as i drove into the station. beautiful view for us here, big thanks to our photographer now, we do have some rain that's going to be working its way into our area. as we go throughout the day. it looks as though it will race through our region. so, it will be a drenching mid -day. you can see the bulk of that moisture, that's lifting right now, crossing over the maryland state border. that's what's going to really bring us the bulk of the rainfall here today. you will get soaked when this is coming through. so, specifically into the midday, we probably get through the type of morning rush, and basically gone by the time we hit the typical evening rush, for the most part, so it is mid-day. you know, lunch hours, leading to up it and shortly thereafter that you'll get the bulk of this, model interpretation of how much we'll see, clearly the bulk of the rain will fall, but here in the city we end up with a can you elf tents at the worse , no major problems when it comes to flooding.
4:56 am
you might even get bypassed in southern delaware from this. that's not to say it is not really steamy, high 79 degrees , still feeling very , very tropical out there. high again, 79 degrees, solid ten above what's average. showers likely continue toward night fall. but they look a lot spot year, the later in the day it get, and we only drop to 70. we need a cold front to come through, we need pattern change. that will come along tomorrow. obviously still very warm, but it shouldn't be anywhere near as humid for you with the dew points starting to drop off mid or lower 60s, that will be a breath of proverbial fresh air for us, back to what's at least a lot closer to sees cease on recall from the week on. >> in the world of travel, a lot of construction, right now looking outside, 422, just heads up both directions between trooper and 23, twister first avenue and trooper right lanes compromised. not too far away also talking about a ramp closure closed for week or so, actually will reopen today around 5:00 p.m.
4:57 am
