7:16 am
now that's not deterring this guy. he is out there getting his morning return in, maybe you are one of those folks to get out, then enjoy, try to embrace some of this kind of nasty weather here, early in the day. overall, though, looks like we have this afternoon, should be pretty good. so while miserable here across the jersey shore point, it is a mess out in the atlantic ocean as well. still watching hurricane ophelia, still a category two storm. it is downgraded, from that category three stat thaws it was yesterday. so no long area major hurricane, but still, really kind of an interesting storm sitting at 105-mile per hour sustained winds, and this will track to the north, and it is actually going to impact ireland, it is going to impact part of scotland, as we get into early next week. so, you see here, by tomorrow morning, this is 2:00 a.m. monday morning, where we are a little bit just shy of the ireland-mainland there, but as you get through the day monday , then into tuesday, pushes through the west coast of ireland, back into scotland , could be looking at
7:17 am
hurricane force winds along the west coast of ireland, as we go through the day monday. so, kind of messy situation up there in the northern atlantic now bringing it back little closer, stateside, we have an area of low pressure, that right now is our main weather player. it is this low right there, in wisconsin, will start to track to the north and east, as it does will drag the colds front with it bringing some chances for some rain showers tonight, but really more importantly it will bring some more fall-like temperatures. so this is what we're seeing out in front of the front. see all of the zero six ace even 70 degrees here this morning, in birmingham, alabama. and it is also very muggy out in front of the front, but on the back side of it, check it out, 20's, 30's, and some 40's , in areas like rapid city , omaha at 47, even bismarck, this morning, at 27. so, again, that colder air is eventually going to be working it way here into the delaware valley. it won't be 20's on the back side of the front for us but still be much coolerment
7:18 am
finally fall like monday, again the front comes through tonight, into tomorrow, so we could look for couple of showers out there, going through the nighttime hours tonight. then high pressure starts to set until, tomorrow, in the afternoon, and into the evening, and then it sticks around, pretty much all week long, looks like at this point so the rain, starting north and west the showers do in the early overnight, maybe around 10:00 or so this evening, start to see the showers start to move in. areas of light shower activity , throughout the my, including first here in philly , then by the time we get into tomorrow morning, while there is still a little bit of drizzle, maybe for philly, for our morning commute, the chances for rain are really south and east, as we get into the first half of the day on our monday. a rain amounts will stay on the haytaian err side headed put to the south, couple every tents to an inch, half inch, jersey in delaware, only ten of in philly even less head further north. seven day forecast, zero eight today, before the front comes through, 64 tomorrow on the back side of the colds front. forty-one for morning low on tuesday, jan, and 60s and then
