authority say they spotted jones inside a car on south seventh street. officers say she was with a man named devon harley. when law enforcement moved in, they say harley took off. hitting a deputy. he later abandoned his car and was arrested. the teenager was not with him at the time. her mother told cbs-3 her family won't rest until her daughter found safe. >> we have alike search parties out, like crazy looking for my daughter. we believe she was in trenton for a long time. i know she will get in a car with anyone, she will just go off. >> police charged devon harl which aggravated assault and related offenses, she set to due appear in court at the end of the month. injured deputy is expected to be okay. >> and we in you know the identity of the man killed last night in a double shoot ing in philadelphia's tioga section. authorities say a gunman fired into an s.u.v. hitting 27 year old brian gravely and another man. gravely died at the scene.

second victim shot in the back and is in critical condition. happened along the 1800 block of erie avenue just after 11:30 last night. thirds person who was also in the vehicle but not hurt is being interviewed by police. >> police hope you can help them finds a man who broke into a north philadelphia business last week, now, surveillance individual grow this heist last thursday shows the suspect as he extends from the ceiling into the j and s hookah germantown avenue. police say the suspect got inside, through a rear door, and then proceeded to make a hole in the sealing. they say the suspect didn't get anything from inside the shop. and then left. >> overseas now, tropical storm ophelia is being blamed for at least three deaths in ireland, now bearing down on parts of the uk. officials say could be the worse storm to hit their country in more than five years, 100-mile per hour wind gusts, 30-foot waves, battering the coast and forecasters warn heavy rain and flooding from storm surges could follow. ophelia was downgrade from the

hurricane to a tropical storm, just before making landfall. devastating wilds fires have now been burning in northern california, for more than a week, and at least 40 people have been killed. now firefighters think they're finally getting a negligent their battle, against the flames. this is some unbelievable drone footage showing the destruction caused by the fires. this part, well, appears to be destroyed. nearly 3,000 homes were burned in the neighborhood, and cbs correspondent, in san ros with the latest. >> a week ago this started as a nightmare and the day we have dream of has arrived. >> optimism is growing for firefighters as they beat back the flames still burning across northern california. >> we're turning the corner. you're seeing those containment levels coming up. things feel good in our gut as

right now, because of the fire is still under investigation, but we do know the state of california has asked pge and e to preserve all they had a could be related to these fires. cbs news, santa rosa, california. >> student at john b kelly elementary school in germantown are missing another day of school as mold, clean up continues. the district first announced mold was found in several classrooms on wednesday. the school was shut down on thursday, and it has been closed since. officials blame the building's h- vaclav havel system. last night the philadelphia school district reported that the clean is up in its final stages. >> to gloucester county, students in monroe township expected to head back to school tomorrow. all six schools in the district were shutdown last week for mold it, after it was found at holly glenn elementary. holly glenn and second school, whitehall elementary, will be closed until further notice. students affected will be

relocated to other schools in the district. well, philadelphia officials are showing off the latest efforts to bring an amazon headquarters to philadelphia. they have released first of three new videos, this one, featuring representatives at philly's business force academic, it highlight philadelphia's location, public transit system and other infrastructure benefits. amazon main headquarters will remain in seattle, washington. >> in less than an hour, philadelphia officials will reveal the results after new survey, determining the business impact of the city beverage tax, the idea was to determine how revenue sales and store operations are affected, controller allen butkovitz pulled some 1500 businesses cents around the city to gather the data. at one point, 5 cents per ounce tax on sweetened beverages went into effect in january. >> well, eagles fans know carson wentz is the real deal. >> we sure do. now it seems the rest of the country knows, as well. coming up on cbs-3 "eyewitness news" how number 11 is number

just a few months olds for the other. now, police say they were called here around 8:30 this morning, by the mother of the two children. as soon as authorities got on scene, they noticed the smell of gas inside the home, that has led to some concern of how these children died, is it possibly was from a gas leak here. but authorities told us at this point they actually believe the children might have been drowned. we know that they're interviewing the mother at this moment. but they're not saying if she is a suspect at this point. they did, however, confirm to us that she was the only person in the home with the two children. now, authority are still actively as you see on here investigating. as much information as they could give us at this time, but they say they'll update as soon as they have more information. but reporting live in wilmington, alicia, cbs-3, " eyewitness news." >> alicia, thank you for the quick turn around. >> community rallies for a sick little boy. >> still ahead this noon, meisha? >> our values are tested when

haven't stepped outside just yet, definately need this to take it with you. but the umbrella, you can leave that inside for the time being. now, the folks across the ocean, across the ponds, towards ireland, dealing with the effect of owe feel with a still, lots and lot of reports coming in from the emeralds aisle at this point, of course post tropical cyclone, that's what ophelia is. the national hurricane center no longer giving updates on owe feel y but the meteorological services are. right now they're reporting that the center of what was you are cano feel ya now moving off the northeast coast of the country, off of county mayo, where we're starting to see this now move up into what will eventually push into scotland, and then, up into the arctic sea, so definitely going to be continuing to feel the effect of this across all of ireland, and then parts, again, of scotland, as well, before the day is all said and done. so here are some of the peak winds gust that is we've already experienced. from ophelia, now, fastnet

rock, reporting station, a lighthouse that's owl in the celtic sea, so the 119 hours, again, that's not surface, that's little higher up. that's why we have the asterisk there, but you can see, 97 miles per hour toward the core airport, 78 miles per hour, and the shannon airport 76-mile per hour winds gust, so very, very strong system still as it continues to track across, again, ireland. now back closer to home, stateside, storm scan3, we had our fair share of showers this morning. and still some heavy cloud cover, out there, some dense clouds, but as you look back to the west, you see through central parts of pa, getting some clearing, little bit more of a thinner cloud band, and kind of coming in from the great lakes at this point, so we get drier air slowly, slowly, slowly working it way towards the delaware valley. we will see some sunshine later this afternoon, might just not get here until maybe two, 3:00 in the afternoon. temperatures sat in the 60s most of the morning,

northwesterly flow has dipped us down into the 50's many spots, including here in philly. but if we do see the sunshine like we're expecting to, we will see the temperature tours maybe climb or two before the day is said and done. currently northwesterly wind, 15 to 20 miles an hour, these are sustained, part of the lehigh valley, already seeing wind gusts as high as 20, 25 miles an hour, and some that far really strong winds could push into the 90's corridor, and across new jersey as well. so be prepared for that stepping out the door, or drive around this afternoon. 61 degrees what we go with for high temperature today, so again, maybe climbing a degree or two before the day is all said and done. check out the overnight lows. who's for us from philly back down toward the shore. some 30's, even the freezing mark, in mount pocono, so what does this mean? we have a frost advisory, that goes into effect at 4:00 in the morning on tuesday. lasting until 9:00 tomorrow morning, for the lehigh valley and the poconos, so be prepared for those cooler temperatures, and here is your seven day forecast, 61 again tomorrow, all kind of sunshine for us in the seven day

>> through weeks of hard work, donations, and the community coming together, christian would be able to celebrate one more christmas, a little early , and the entire town was chipping in to make it happen. >> everybody is trying to make it a happy time for him, and he'll travel around and look at all of the christmas light. >> we just want to make the little boy happy. he want christmas, and we want to give it to him. >> a small town in kansas detectives the streets with bodes of holly in preparation for what would be an early christmas for christian's celebration. this special night would consist after sleigh ride through towns, where christian and his family, a visit from the big guy himself, santa claus, and and eat some special surprises all culminating with the community wide pot luck dinner. all for a little boy, whose time on earth was short, but impact full. christian ended up passing away knott too long after the community rallied around him, but before he did he made clear the one thing he wanted was one more christmas with
