>> absolutely gorgeous. all right, katie, thank you so much, good morning, so we are looking outside right now, levels are starting to pick up ever so slightly new but nice dry roadways to work w vine looking good. no overnight construction westbound jumping on the schuylkill see what we are working with there, eastbound side, quicker then the west, side, and, then looking at constructioner, hear schuylkill westbound off ramp to conshohocken it looks still close. we did hear reports that they are clearing this right around 5:00 a.m. they are moving this out. we have construction schuylkill eastbound between 202 and conshohocken that has new been since cleared. so 422, it is both directions westbound between 202 and trooper, it sounds like that is clearing. eastbound side between oaks and first avenue that has already cleared. we will talk about construction coming up in the next 10 minutes, jim, back over to you. new this morning police are investigating after a man is fun dead with the kitchen knife still lodged in his back victim was fund last night on the porch of this house on the

6400 block of north 20th street in west oak lane, police say the four three-year old victim does not live at the home. >> we're not sure if he was stabbed at this location or if he was stabbed somewhere else. when medics pronounced him dead victim still had a knife protruding from his back. >> police interviewed several witnesses a plan to check surveillance in the area. after a week off students at jb kelly elementary school are finally heading back to class today, the school in philadelphia's germantown section has been shut down since last thursday, that is after officials say they found traces of mold, in several classrooms. and the building's hvac system is blamed for contamination. police in trenton new jersey are investigating a crash that sent six people to the hospital, chopper three over bridge and lamberton street just after 9:00 last night. four juveniles and two adults were injured in the collision of the truck and a car. the extent of their injuries isn't clear at this point.

announce if convicted child maine lester jerry sandusky will get a new trial. seven five-year old former penn state assistant fat ball coach claims he didn't get adequate representation in his 2012 trial, for child sexual abuse. he also claimed that the prosecutors failed to turn over information, on victims changing their stories. sandusky is serving a 30 to 60 year sentence for abusing 10 boys. in another penn state fraternity is facing legal trouble, police say two under age girls were taken to the hospital after a party at alpha kai row fraternity house both had blood alcohol levels three times legal limit, the hearing is set for next month. the fraternity is already under suspension for hazing violations. and today protesters in philadelphia will rally to oppose a pipeline that would run through pennsylvania. the project would carry natural gas, from ohio, to a refinery in marcus hook. in july residents from west goshen filed an injunction, stopping the pipeline, a court in center city is scheduled to

we are back on "eyewitness news" this morning win tense flames shooting in to the air from an oil refinery near los angeles this happened just hours ago, largest refinery on the west coast. it is supplying 20 percent of gas to southern california. police urge nearby residents to close their windows, due to the smoke. fire fighters were able to put out the blaze in just about an hour but no word on what sparked those flames. fire fighters are making some progress against devastating wild fires sweeping california's wine country. >> right now they are holding off the flames threatening some napa county vineyard but others look more like war zones covered in smoke and dust, meantime, air quality in the area has forced the school

district there to scrap their plans to reopen schools today. they will now remain closed for the rest of the week. some truly heart warming moments in the wake of those devastating fires, people forced to leave their pets behind as flames bear down on their homes are reunited with their four legged friends, this shelter in marin county transferred adoptable animals to other shelters to open up space for pets like timothy the kitten, separated from his family at the height of the fires. >> we were in the hotel. and when we heard our house burned down we thought she was dead. he was purring so much. >> during worse of the conditions, this shelter was housing around 375 evacuated animals, that number is down to around 260. that is good to know they were all saved. >> yes. >> something like that, they run, they hide, you cannot

really, leaving the pattern. it does stay beautiful, nice, quiet and perfect hair weather lots of sunshine and light wind. the list goes on and little bit of a warming trend with every passing day. now one of the things that has been, definitely at issue for me at lee, in the last 24 hours is pollen. even though levels are still very low they will start to creep up with every passing day, with every dry day that we have, the possibility of that pollen to settle in and cause you some issues if you are an allergy sufferer goes up. ragweed is predominant one, friday at the moment does look like it is war day of the next few. i know, jim. it could be worse. it is not too bad but those levels are creeping up a little bit. temperature change in the last 24 hours becoming more noticeable, still cold enough would i certainly suggest a jacket, as for the thermometer in the 40's in these spots but we are seeing spots dropping in the 30's. i want to jump to the seven day forecast, wall to wall sunshine right through the weekend, and, and and gorgeous
