an area that is picking up a little bit. if nothing else already this morning we will start to get gaper delay of what is going on with these flashing lights but to let you know, just a disabled vehicle. volume overnight construction project here looks good moving in the westbound direction toward schuylkill eastbound side we are looking good too, again just a really nice, slow start, dry roadways, everything looks good, construction on the betsy ross bridge still out there westbound two lanes are blocked, shown all green still traveling at posted speed and construction crews are slow on 295 as well southbound between route 168 and two lanes block there, we will have more coming up in the next 10 minutes. jim and rahel, back to you. manhunt is over for suspect in the deadly two state shooting spree. >> police took radee prince into custody in newark, delaware last night. night when he was taken in custody this man was armed, dangerous and had 15 felonies on thinks record, fortunately though this was a peaceful end to a 10 hour manhunt that had communities on edge from here all the way to maryland. take a look at this video of the scene last night, now "eyewitness news" cameras rolled as police arrested radee prince in newark, delaware. prince is accused of going on a rampage shooting six people he knew across two states. carnage began at his job just before 9:00 a.m. at advanced granite solution in edgewood, maryland. police say he opened fire on five co-workers killing three of them. wilmington police chief robert tracie say prince drove a acadia to wilmington where he shot a sixth person. there was no sign of him until 5:30 when someone spotted the suv near glasgow high school in newark and called police. hour and a half later after a short police chase, atf took prince in custody. chief tracie says public's

help was essential in this arrest.. a coordinated effort to a successful conclusion in this very, very bad day and our heart and prayers get out to the family of the victim and victim's family in maryland and shooting victim here in wilmington. >> reporter: once radee prince goes before a judge here in wilmington, he will be extradited to maryland to face those three murder charges but for now we are live from the wilmington police department, i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news", jim and rahel, back to you. robert hotes seen here lived next door to radee prince for several years in maryland. they surrounded prince apartment in el kton yesterday he said prince would sometime join him for a beer late at night. former neighbor say prince talk about wanting to stay out of trouble. >> he said he made some mistakes in life, you know, he was just trying to be quiet, trying to work, dot right thing in life. i'm still getting chills.

i could not imagine that i picture him and i sitting there chatting in the 2:00 o'clock in the morning just about life. >> did he not know prince to have any children. he also said prince also never had any visitors. no arrests in the deadly shooting of a 17 year-old boy in west oak lane. chopper three over 6700 block of north 16th street last night where police say victim was shot in the head. police have not identified the victim yesterday and in word on what led to that shooting. president trump refuting claims he was disrespectful with the family of the foal even solder. congress woman and family member who heard conversation are standing by what they say they heard, here's cbs news correspondent seth lemon. >> reporter: wednesday was a day of he said/she said, pitting president trump against florida congress woman fredricka wilson. >> i didn't say what that congress woman said. didn't say it at all she knows it. >> reporter: at issue condolence call president made to the widow of army sergeant

lah david johnson, one of the four soldiers, killed in action in an ambush in niger october 4th. for a second take, wilson insisted that the president made an insensitive comment. >> i heard him say well, he knew what he was signing up for but it still hurts. >> reporter: sergeant johnson 's mother has confirmed the congress woman's account, the president insisted via tweet he has proof to the contrary. >> he is not the proof, we are the proof, i regret, that i did not record it. >> reporter: white house didn't specifically refute those compact word were said, press secretary sarah sanders said she took issue with the congress woman and the press, for portraying the call as anything but sincere, and respectful. >> i think it frankly is a disgrace of the media to try to portray an act of kindness, like that and that gesture and try to make tonight to something that it isn't.

>> reporter: father of dustin wright, another solder killed in the ambush told cbs news that the president called him too, he said that the call went well and described mr. trump as cordial and offering condolences. seth lemon for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". schuylkill river trail in philadelphia is getting a security upgrade, "eyewitness news" near locust street entrance to the trail. as the first of some 21 cameras was put into position. cameras will cover eight entrances from arch street, to just north of the south street bridge, and officials hope that they will help deter crime while also aiding in an investigation. well, coming up candidates vying to be next new jersey governor face off in a debate seen here on cbs-3. still ahead hear what each one had to say after the showdown. find out where the ground opened up swallowing parts of the front yard even a stop sign, who will to have fill it back in. we will tell but a chicken controversy that the restaurant why some customers

yesterday. most who died in the wild fires were reportedly in the 70's and 80's. many victims could not move fast enough to escape the flames. officials say fire should be fully contained by the even of the week. meanwhile a sinkhole swallows up a street corner in florida. now home owner has to pay to fill it in. county officials determined that the hole is on private property of the mobile home park, the street caved in early on tuesday by tuesday afternoon it was 30 feet wide, and 15 feet deep. >> you are obviously a consumer reporter that he would have to pay to fill that >> i don't know, florida is weird, they have got weird stuff with their homeowners policies and stuff like that down there. >> in pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware you know who to contact. >> just don't call me about sinkholes. >> you better knock on wood because -- >> someone will call me today. >> yes, i can hear your phone down the hall ringing off the hook. >> more sunshine coming.

>> that is g it looks like a nice pattern that will continue for our area here yet again and all courtesy of high pressure. this is a quiet looking weather map. act a lot of times can bring a mixed bag of extremities. you can see snow, you can see very deep rainfall out of this month, tropical storms are still a concern but it is a quiet weather map. we will show you here first this wide zoom on storm scan three which, eastern 23rd of the u.s. is totally clear and will stay that way because of high pressure. now with time there is a front that will eventually emerge from the west head our way but that will take until at least early next week. you really are sitting pretty here with temperatures having the opportunity to climb and all courtesy of that area of high pressure in place. nice clear sky will continue for us for days on end that means more sunshine, dry conditions, still relatively low humidity and temperatures that peak from five to even 10 f which i personally am a fan

but dozen despite that warmth still look and feel like fall. make a lot of people, just, over the temperatures in the 80's in recent weeks here, now you can reza shourd that yes, it will be above average but feel much more like the fall season and currently our temperatures are in the mid to upper 40's. in the lower 50's in wildwood and at philly international and elsewhere down the shore point. wind is out of the south. still light wind but enough to keep temperatures nice and mild, all and all, still jacket weather for sure but ocean city checks in at 57 degrees. not too bad. ocean by the way is cooling off as we start to drop off from the peak of atlantic hurricane season. still sunny, nice. seventy-four the high here today. well above average. still feeling like fall. it looks nice. later on tonight we will drop down to 55. will stay clear. in the quite as cool dropping down to 55 degrees. in the next couple days mid to upper 70's the spec tails still full sunshine right through weekend. monday doesn't look too bad.

but by tuesday and wednesday the pattern shifts, meisha. looking gorgeous, all right, katie, thanks very much good morning to you. happy thursday. looking outside in new jersey 42 freeway north bound at creek road approaching 2,951st peak at 42 and looking g we are seeing more vehicles hit the roadways but still traveling around posted speed but 42 you can see how many vehicles are there. construction blue route southbound off ramp to the schuylkill one lane block here , see flashing lights, as you traveling by that area and plus disabled vehicle 95 north pennsylvania route 413 near pennsylvania turnpike so just a head up on that. i wanted to call your attention to this, we have a new route, new bus route added , so new boulevard direct bus route starts sunday and it will make people happy. take a look at this graph. you can see it down here. this lets you know what you will be saving in terms of time, the car, 26 minutes
