here is a look at the boulevard at the schuylkill headed toward the schuylkill expressway. really no delays here, not much volume in this area, usually picks up after 6:00. hopefully, if you are getting out on the roadways it, means people have taken off on a friday. schuylkill at city avenue, also looking beautiful this morning. another problem spot, the sun not yet up. but again as we get into the next half hour, 45 minutes, keep an eye on these areas. schuylkill at the blue route, i'll back out of the way, construction vehicles, still off to the side. and they remain there, looks like, moving out of the way. had been blocking the left lane, now off to the shoulder, so no problems there. and the vine street expressway in and out of the city of philadelphia, no delays here either. one thing to tell but quickly though, over in new jersey, i 295, between 168 and 42, two lanes block there, it is definitely causing some delays in that area. jim, back over to you. >> thank you, patrick. police will be returning to washington township high school this morning. >> that's after racist messages sparked a fight inside the school.

>> the parent ... that's a teachable moment. >> you hear concerned parent met with school officials last night, they talked about racially charged text messages between students, but then showed up on social media. it sparked a fight inside the school on wednesday. we showed up yesterday, after there were more threat of violence. officials say they're now trying to use this as a teaching lesson for student. >> the hope would be that in addition to there being significant punishment for these kind of aggressions, that we obviously do what we can to make something positive out whatever appears to be something so negative. >> now, some student did organize peaceful sit-in yesterday to protest the incident. officials tell us the student who sent the text and were involved in the fight have been suspended for ten days. >> well, time now 5:35, in business news this morning, how much general motors will pay in the ignitions switch scandal. >> how bissey amazon prime? money watch's diane, from the new york stock exchange, good

morning, diane. >> good morning, jim, rahel. well, we start with this drop in shares of apple halted wall street's record run, put a dent in the nasdaq, while the dow and s&p, ultimately the do w added five points while the nasdaq lost 19. the number of americans collecting unemployment fell to its lowest level in 44 years, just 222,000 people filed new claims also week, in all, less than 2 million americans are collecting checks. those are the lowest numbers since richard nixon was president. >> general motors agreed pay $120 million to settle claims in its emissions switch scandal. the defective switches force recall nearly 3 million vehicles in 2014. at least 124 deaths are blamed on the problems. gm settle with the attorneys general, 49 states, and the district of columbia a the settlement does not include what gm has to pay individual consumers. >> and amazon prime is hot.
