, more on the way, but also pattern change that will be headed our way, jan. we have temperatures once again that will be well above average throughout pretty much the entire weekend. let's start you off now with a live look from the live neighborhood hood network. looking at the city from palmyra cove nature park in new jersey, beautiful morning, temperatures right now, checking in in the 40's 50's, it is 50 degrees in philadelphia. forty's in millville, 49 degrees down the shore in wildwood, 47 in atlantic city. and mount pocono, right now, the upper 30's, right around 39 degrees. dew points in the 30's and 40 's, i mean, the air is exceptionally dry out there, that's making for these cool, crisp mornings, and very comfortable afternoon. we have dew point of 43 in philadelphia, and 38, believe it or not, in allentown, so, throughout the day, you can look for temperatures on the climb by the noon hour, 72 degrees, as we head into 3:00, 77, our forecast high

"eyewitness news" reporter, natasha brown, with the latest >> the terror behind the walls haunted house at eastern state penetentary scares up crowds of thousands every year. but this year, residents in the fairmount neighborhood have real fears after a string of armed robberies. >> it was surprising. and very different from what happens in this neighborhood usually. >> residents worried, four incident took place just this week, two armed robberies on sunday night, the first at 8:00 p.m., in the 2200 block of brown street. another, about an hour later, nearby, on the 2500 block of poplar street.

>> it is concerning. i'm out at that hour, and my husband has maybe for awhile. >> two other robberies reported after midnight tuesday, the gun wielding suspect targeting victims in the 800 block of 25th and 27th . has lived in fairmount for years, and she believes the influx of people during halloween leads to up tick in crime. >> my dad has had his car stolen two times, always when the halloween stuff is on. >> you're afraid of going out, so much stuff going on, for nothing, shooting, robberies, stuff like that, we've been lucky around here that hasn't been worse i guess, in some neighborhood hoods. >> police have arrested a suspect that is linked to another armed robbery here in the fairmount area, at this point, they do believe this one suspect they have in custody, may very well be linked to all of these cases. in fairmount, natasha brown,

cbs-3, "eyewitness news." >> a motorcycle crash on southbound bound i95 in south philadelphia leaves one person injured. that crash happened just past the walt whitman bridge, around midnight. the driver was returned to hahnemann hospital. no word on his condition this morning. traffic was back up for a bit, as the authorities there cleared the scene. we're told no other vehicles were involved. no word yet on what caused that crash. >> coatesville area senior high school comes together during time of racial tension. 200 students walked out of class to take a stands against hate after two recent incident involving classmates. earlier this week, images surfaced on line of student pose withing pumpkins that had racist words and symbols, carved in them. school officials say they cannot discipline the students because the pictures were taken off campus, and authorities are not classifying it as a hate crime >> i felt discussed just for the fact that i knew some of the people in the picture. >> student definitely needed

morning, just a beautiful view of center city right now. now to your headlines, where we're going to have a stretch of sunshine continuing all the way through the weekend, not only that, but to top it all off temperatures will be 10 degrees or higher above average throughout the entire weekends, and even into the start of next week. but, a cold front will be coming on through, all good things must come to an end, right? so we're going to have reign returning to the forecast, also cooler temperatures headed our way. we're in the four's, 50's, even 30's in mount pocono, 39 degrees right now, it is 43 dege at 50 in philadelphia, 47 in millville, down the shore, upper 40's, in wildwood. we have 47 degrees right now in atlantic city, also 47 degrees in trenton, dew points very comfortable, a lot of dry air in place helping out with the crisp, cool mornings, and then warm afternoons. by the 10:00 hour, 63 degrees, we continue to warm up by noontime.

they've nabbed the suspect behind a string of armed robberies, in philadelphia's fairmount section. authorities say they caught up to the suspect around 9:00 last night, shortly after he committed an armed robbery near beechwood street. they're now linking him to four other armed robberies, that happened in that same area, since sunday. now, all of the robberies happened near the popular haunted attraction sean, terror behind the walls, and some resident believe the had halloween festivities are to blame. >> it has been happening a lot during the year, especially when the halloween stuff is happening. my dad has had his car stolen twice within two, three years. >> we kind of feel like it is because of so many people, not many people watching, guarding the neighborhood. >> now, police sources tell " eyewitness news," that they're confident they've caught the suspect. they've been looking for the suspect, has not yet been identified. a chester county high school community comes together in unity, during a time of racial tension. student walked out of class

friday, to take a stands against hate, after two recent incidents involving other student. "eyewitness news" reporter david spunt has more from coatesville area senior high school. >> more than 200 high school student sat in the parking lot of coatesville area senior high school, wearing black, earlier this week, images of student with racist words, and symbols, kronofed pumpkins, surfaced on line, today was the to stop that behavior. >> i felt discussed, just for the fact that i few some of the people in the pictures. >> administrators and local police detectives have identified all of the kids in this picture, but there is not much they can do. the picture was taken off school property, and authorities are not classifying the pumpkin carving as a hate crime. the two principal's at the school tell "eyewitness news" they're upset by the image, early this morning, the entire student body joined by teachers, walked out of class as a show of unity. they met in the stadium. >> i think that the student definitely needed to have a voice. and they needed to feel like
