[ laughter ] >> we all app pro of jim in every way. >> thank you. >> we are going to find the next couple of days another pattern change i think that were do warm up with time here. then there's another drop off on the thermometer and in addition there's a very potent trough digging in the days ahead and that's where this rain comes from on sunday. so much more on that later on in the forecast. let's get you out the door if maybe you work middle shift and
12:17 pm
trying to hit the road to get to work. the rain and the specifically the frontal boundary that crossed that was yesterday that is still making its full departure sluggishly but no longer problem for us. led to a couple of clouds down near the shore points. the sky has brightened up up nicely. a couple of clouds. nice bright day and very pleasant weather to enjoy for the rest of afternoon. all part of much larger system so we have the cold front but the area of low pressure still working its way through the great lakes and that could rotate in some more clouds maybe even sling sprinkle tum come tomorrow that is it in terms of any additional wet weather quote unquote worries we'll face in the next few days. because overall high pressure really is our story here. right through friday and even saturday. and because we'll sit on the western edge of that high come saturday the temperatures have the opportunity to rebound once more. notice what looms here, however, so here's the trough that will absolutely be digging in. but there's another piece of the puzzle to this which we'll get to. the the meantime we couldn't the warming ten right through saturday bombing out tomorrow
12:18 pm
starting to rebound for the next cub of days. now that other piece of the puzzle is this. this latest area of showers and thunderstorms which has as of yet to develop into anything whether it be would be an area to watch depression or a named storm. in the next five days it's you go four in ten shot of doing so. regardless of that happening, it's going to get pulled up into the overall know. you seat beginnings any wave this trough starting to dig in. those two pieces depending how they interact could lead to very soggy upcoming sunday but the front will cross through any way. so it does look to me right now like sunday could be a pretty gross looking day here unfortunately which doesn't body well for the eagles as we get closer the timing on that is certainly going to become a lot clearer. meanwhile, halloween. how is that looking for the trick or treaters your gloats gloats and goblins. errly evening looks very very typical. mid 50s, 52 to 55 degrees or so. a generally clear sky an light wind expected just enough to russell the leaves a little bit and near full moon at that point
12:19 pm
too. it will be turning fool into early november it should be just spooky enough for your little goblin headed out to gather treats. you can see the fall foliage speaking through i was nest distance here a bit of cloud cover has moved in over whitfield elementary school next door to reading. but you know still pretty decent start to the afternoon and that said also cooler by comparison. we're now only in the low 60s. we probably have maybe five or more degrees up our sleeves before it's all said and done and the wind flow is drier as well out of the northwest at this point. so as you look ahead to the seven day couple of thing to point out. today just few clouds. certainly cooler by comparison but the coolest day of the next several is absolutely tomorrow. and again you may see a stray sprinkles not enough to warn the umbrella. saturday is the warmest don't get used to that. sunday comes along that steady heavy rain comes along, too. so tailgate plans, have a backup right now. you'll want to think about maybe some tarps or tents that kind of thing. >> all right. >> thanks katie.
