dinubile and contact legal miller both just 16 years old laid dying on the street. two growing memorials for the teens, one near site of the killings, and a smaller one on the stoop of the caleer's home he was a good kid. he was not a bad kid. but, the only thing he loved doing was playing basketball. >> reporter: contact legal's mother preparing to bury her baby as are sal's friends both families coping with this tragic loss. >> he had a good life ahead of him just cut too short. >> i'm angry. i'm mad. i'm heart broken. >> reporter: and, last night hundreds of, family members and friends of sal gathered in south philadelphia on in philadelphia for a candle light vigil. a second vigil is being held for 16 year-old caleer miller set at 7:30 in point breeze. live from police headquarters i'm greg argos for cbs-3

"eyewitness news". >> greg, thank you. well, reality is set nothing, colder temperatures are on the way in fact, some areas could get frost fit overnight. meteorologist kate bilo is outside on the sky deck with the details of a frost, advisory, kate? >> reporter: ukee, it has been a interesting day, sunshine to start, a band of showers moved through just a couple of hours ago and then now the sunnies back but it is cool, breezy, and a cold night, lies ahead. lets look at current temperatures, in philadelphia. and, temperatures, back to 60 in many spots, 68 right now in philadelphia, 60 in dover. fifty-eight in wilmington. you can see a brisk, west wind and that is making it feel a little bit cooler then thermometer indicates. it will be a cool night, a clear night, wind die down as a recipe for cold. look at temperatures when you wake up tomorrow morning, many spots north and west of the city like lancaster, reading, allentown in the mid 30's and rural areas of interior south jersey will be in the mid 30's as well. frost advisory is in effect

>> reporter: "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan will have much more from a local town hall meeting on opioid abuse on "eyewitness news" at 6:00. police arrested a suspect wanted for gunpoint abduction of the man in lancaster county investigators say 30 year-old dustin wenton on the left kidnaped 21 year-old jordan fisher just after midnight from a home in columbia boro, about 30 miles from harrisburg police tell us they took went on in custody this morning fisher was also located and was found safe. an update now to a story we told but yesterday, we now know, that one person was killed in, a crash, at the toll plaza at the commodore barry bridge. a car and a tractor trailer were involved in the crash at the westbound lanes on the jersey side of the bridge. police say that the driver of the car rear ended the tractor trailer at high speed, and was killed. new jersey nor bob menendez got some bipartisan support in court today, republican senator lindsey graham and democratic senator corry booker both took witness stand as character witnesses

reports the prosecutor, now wants to help, clear brinkly's name. >> i'm more apprehensive. >> reporter: gerald dugan was a bag of nerves today, 40 years ago he convicted then 15 year-old kevin brinkly, for the strawberry mansion murder of the beloved delivery man charles hage but today, dugan wants to make amend. >> thanks for coming. >> reporter: or at least try, kevin's brother ronald shown in this photo with kevin taken last week repeatedly confessed to the murder, both even took lie detector tests, years ago, and then passed. >> i'm sorry, is there nothing in the world i can do to change what happened. >> reporter: in recent weeks dugan wrote the parole board likely saying he prosecuted the wrong man for the murder. kevin was resentensed under u.s. supreme court ruling deeming mandatory life without parole illegal for juveniles and last week after 40 years at age 55, he was set free.
