is taking it out to one of the live neighborhood network cameras which we'll see on q. wind whipping sustained 20 miles per hour, there goes, one of the cameras that it is well mounted but not sturdy enough to with stand a pretty stiff breeze. so, the kids are still out there. still playing in this. thankfully that rain has really allowed things to dry out swiftly here. so one good thing about the winds is that it is allowed the pavement to dry out. storm itself continues to make it full departure, but the rain long since gone, only going to see the clouds continue to break for more and more sunshine, so nice tri-state sweep. total polar opposite what you saw earlier on this morning if you were with us then. meanwhile, here is where we stands with the current wind gusts, still pretty powerful, all the way up to 40-mile per hour gusts still being reported atlantic city international. into the 30's at philadelphia international airport. and in trenton, in wilmington and pretty much everywhere else, so it is still a very, very blues i i beginning to the afternoon, even though the winds will gradually taper off , it is not enough that you don't notice it, until

tomorrow. so while we're drying out, we're still staying pretty blustery, daytime highs at best only hit the upper 50's. but there is a warming trends, in our near future, i'll let you know when i expect the 70s little later on, rahel? >> oh, boy, all right, katie, thank you. authorities have yet to publicly ida armed robbery suspect shot by police inside parking garage at the king of prussia mall. the shooting happened yesterday afternoon. police say they opened fire on the suspect, when he tried to run down officers. paramedics returned him to the hospital. last night police confirm he is the same man accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint, and the mall's parking lot saturday. one shopper we spoke to said he's shocked. >> part of our life, part of our lifestyle. in this day and age, don't expect to hear things like that so close to home. >> investigators say the suspect was inside a stolen car from an october 22nd carjacking in new castle county. officials found a handgun inside that car. they believe the suspect is also connected to armed robberies in delaware now in

the hospital. >> update, authority released mugshot of the 16 year old suspect in the double murder south philly. sixteen year old brandon oliveri charged saturday in the deadly shooting of 16 year old sal denubile and. >> judge declared mistrial by bob end menendez, wealthy friends in their principal are you trial. the attorneys foremen end dez and flour eye doctor melgin charge the judge was limit wag evidence they could present. menendez charged with excepting gifts from melgin in exchange for political favors. both men deny the charges. the trial is now its ninth week. >> coming up on cbs-3 " eyewitness news" at noon, allegations of sexual assault followed by loaded apology. >> award winning actor kevin space i accused of making a sexual advance on fellow actor who was just 14 years old at the time. who has come forward and what space i divulge about himself and his apology.

>> flood waters filling a car, look at this, yesterday's heavy rain flooded street in the community of cash any hudson count i the mom say she and her son were headed home from a high school event when her car got stuck, they wait in the their seats for help. >> i came through, and the whole car, i was sitting in the back seat, because it started getting, started rising, then i got in the back , then it started just like pull out of the car. >> and yesterday's heavy rains result in the downed trees and power lines and flooded roads across that part of new jersey >> high winds, torrential rains battered the big apple, two strong wind gusts brought down power lines, sparking flames and crushing cars,

officials issued high wind warning for winds of 20 to 35 miles per hour, and gusts up to 60 miles per hour. >> that's all part of the same system that we saw yesterday. even early this morning, still out there. >> and still windy from the same storm, yes. the same storm trying to make it departure, so get what i like to call mother nature wind tunnel effect, low pressure making it exit, and it create this gradient where it is like walking between the buildings in center city. and your hair is all out of wack, a mess out there. >> so, it is, you know, still very, very blustery it, will continue to be so into the afternoon, as well, and right now, we've got gusts easily peaking into the 30's in many locations. so much so, that when we take you out to "skycam 3", we'll see if we can see it there. now, see how that fountain is getting pushed, the water being pushed because of the winds? it is so persistent, that it is messing with logan square's fountain. i just thought it was fascinating. so at the moment, we're finding wind gusts in philly at least at the airport, into the 30's right now, so that tells you, what 30 to 35-mile

per hour gust cans do at high noon here in center city. but pretty much everywhere else. you know, as the day progresses the winds still very noticable. is it as harsh as it was earlier on in thankfully no. but what you will notice here, as we just put things into motion, yes, it eases up little bit, but still have very persistent south to southwest wind flow into the teens here right through the afternoon, and even into tonight. now, even into tonight, there could still be those very persistent winds specially in wildwood. this is registering it could be as high as 21 miles per hour by 11:00. not until really tomorrow that the winds eases up to the point that you start to not notice it all that much. so, halloween forecast actually looks real great right now. we still need this system to get out of here, there is another little piece of energy trying to move in right now, across the northern high planes, midwest, but that's going to by us to the north, just at this point waiting for the first storm to exit. then we will be sitting pretty at least for now. now, coming up on the month of november. can't even believe it. here we go. coming up on it in a couple of

days, little preview for you here, astronomy event with the meteor shower coming up between november 17th and 18th , see up to 15 meteors per hour, daylight saving even though it is not meteorological, still falls to us, to reminds you daylight saving time does end, this upcoming weekend, get the extra hour of sleep as you fall back on the clock, it is time to get chilly by the time we wrap up the month of november at best your normally only going to hit about 50 degrees for daytime high. snow isn't too bad, all things considered, 55 currently at the airport, wilmington, kind of that same thing across most of the board here, say for mount pocono where it is obviously chillier, but the winds still persistent. even though not coming from the chillier north or northwest, still going to make it feel that much chillier to you. so i would still bundle up. those guesses -- gusts 30 miles per hour for the rest of the afternoon despite the brightening sky. later tonight we drop down to 45 degrees with the winds out of the southwest at five to 10 . so still chilly outside. by tomorrow, though, looking

good. had very fun festive graphic. i love the dancing mummy. can you not beat him. so tomorrow evening, for the kids to be headed out trick-or-treating; this not distracting or what? as they head out the moon will be nearly full for one thing to add to the atmosphere, but nice and calm winds, just cool , but typically so. then we spike, thursday and friday, guys, in the 70s. don't want to rule out shower or two either of those days, but it is looking like a nice little warming trend. >> oh, monday, and we're looking ahead to friday? >> hey, never too soon. >> thanks, katie. >> something that most of lust face at some point in our lives, but the feeling of grief. >> many people finds comfort of leaning on family during those times, as meisha shows just today's love it. meisha? >> one arkansas woman has set out to finish her mother's dream after her live was cut all too short. now how this daughter is linking arms with her mother's spirit, and helping their words and combined efforts will help others struggling to heal from lost and heart break take a look. >> her accident was november 13th, of 2014.

a car accident on an icy winter day claimed the life of charlotte harry's mother ramona. >> before she passed away she was working on a book about the ways that she coped with the loss of her father to cancer. and i was helping her through that process, and through the writing process. >> she said her mother worked hard on the book and she couldn't let it go to ways. so she got to writing it. >> first half, my mother's words, and it is her telling her story. she tells a bit about herself, about my grandfather, about his diagnosis. then the book goes into my story. >> the book gives people advice on how to cope with the process of grief. one tip; to just breathe. >> one of the most simple things and sometimes we forget about it. and we forget to just take us back in and just to calm our minds. >> works bet war group. it works better when you have people on your side to talk to and share your experiences

with, who have had the same experience that you have had. >> and so hand and spiritual hand with her mother, the book is being finished. >> from the tragedy after mother's unexpected passing, now the daughter called to carry on her legacy, fast. family and love all about. charlotte wanted the general message of the book to help assist other through their own healing and into a happy place remember the good things of the boffed ones after they're gone. imagine that. losing a love one, and they were just going to finish this book about their own. >> testimony to her mom. >> yes, and then the daughter comes through and finishes the book. just crazy how life sometimes come full circle. charlotte is doing exactly what her mother would have wanted, not staying in her grief but moving up all while caring the torch forward. beautiful memories of her mother. love it. well if you have any other inspirational stories i ideas please sends them my way. >> meisha, thank you. coming up: some witches are trading in their brooms for
