here we are. >> we're looking outside right now on this halloween early morning, it is just looking very dark out, there and a lot of construction. >> yes, i mean, just like hello. quiet weather though. very, very quiet h rain to deal with lately, thankfully this is now long since moved out. we've cleared out very nicely, the moon will be nearly full tonight, no less, so we've got really pretty much just perfect conditions for the kids, as they head out trick-or-treating this evening important the rest of the day events going on, but little on the chilly side, certainly won't be above average day on the thermometer, currently storm scan nice and quietment look at the winds flow, at least that heats up. won't add to the chill. certainly isn't going to blow your hairstyle out of wack like it did yesterday. but that wind will continue to stay calm throughout the day. switching gears, with the same map, taking a look at the current temperatures, do you have bit of mixed bag here, many of are you in the outlying suburbs, down to the 40's at this hour, currently at 50 at the airport, spec to go drop few more degrees certainly before the sun does

at clovely avenue where it is, if that's your neck of the woods, probably won't slow you down yet. back over to you. >> new this morning, three people including two children are injured in this house fire overnight. the fire broke out around 3:30 f pennington street in philadelphia's juniata park section. firefighters managed to quickly contain the fire. all of the injured are being treated for smoke inhalation. the cause of this blaze is under investigation. >> delaware county man who had a side business of dressing up as children's characters is charged with the rape of five boys. michael crisp worked at children's parties dressed up as mickey mouse, sponge bob and elmo. investigators say he befriended single mothers and got access to the boys. they also say in some cases he slept at the boy's homes. neighbor in colwyn, who talked to "eyewitness news," asked us not to show her face. >> to think that people will hire people, you know, somebody assume to come to

their kids party, and then this is what you turn around and do? i'm appalled. >> authorities believe crisp violated his parole on burglary conviction which means he's not eligible for bail. authorities believe there are more victims, if you have any information, give delaware county detectives a call. a man shot by police at the king of prussia mall parking garage on sunday allegedly went on a four day crime spree. the suspect is linked to two carjackings in wilmington a claymont delaware, robbery in the mall parking garage saturday. police say they were forced to open fire sunday whether suspect, kaelin jackson, ran police cars and tried to run down officers. two days before that police say the suspect carjacked 87 year old richard bird, outside his new castle county home. >> i didn't feel threatened by him except when he had a pistol in his hands, when he had a gun in his hands that was a threat. >> bird was dropped off unharmed, a day later on saturday, police say the suspect robbed a woman at gunpoint at the king of prussia mall parking garage.

the suspect returned to the same spot sunday, where he was shot by police, at this point he remains hospital in the serious condition. >> philadelphia police trying to track down serial bank robber who struck twice in the very same day. authorities say the suspect seen here robbed the bank of america on rising sun avenue in the northeast yesterday. they say he handed the teller a threatening note. but he got away empty handed. he tried again about two hours later at the m and t bank on castor avenue. >> this time did he get away with some cash. that suspect, also being linked to another holds up earlier this month, at the wells fargo bank, also on castor avenue. >> well, police in darby darby borough hope you can help them solve what he call the violent death after retired us postal worker. last tuesday, 57 year old brad haze of clifton heights was found dead in the back seat of his car. it was park in front of pennwood middle school in summit streets. classes were canceled that day , investigators say, surveillance video shows two people, one of whom was pains, and met with a person of interest. >> the number two subject, the

person of interest, met him in the alley. so he wasn't part of what happened at the car. we're looking to talk to him. >> well the delaware county medical examiners office is investigating the cause of haze's death, if you have any information, call darby police well, a man accused of going on deadly shooting rampage in maryland in delaware earlier this month has been indicted by delaware grand jury. in new castle county grand jury indicted 37 year old prison eight counts, including attempted murder. authority say prince shot five co-workers, three fatally, in maryland, then drove to wilmington where investigators say he shot acquaintance there authority announced last week that prince would be prosecuted first in delaware, then in maryland. >> now to developing story, shots fired near the university of utah campus leaves at least one person dead, now this morning, the manhunt continues for the gunman. the university was forced to lockdown last night, as officers from multiple agencies searched the surrounding areas for this man twenty-four year old austin

buy cane, authority say, he shot and killed a person near the entrance of nearby nature reserve. information about the victim has not yet been release. >> development in the return an investigation led by special council robert mueller criminal charges have been filed against three former trump campaign officials but the white house officials say the charges have nothing to do with the president. correspondent mule a lanky has more. >> on monday special council robert mueller unveiled charges charges stemming from his investigation into possible collusion between russia and the trump campaign. former campaign chairman paul manafort and his business partner rick gate pleaded not guilty to slew of federal charges including money laundering and conspiracy. manafort's lawyer says the charges are ridiculous. >> there is no evidence that mr. manafort of the tram campaign collude dollars with the russian government. >> the other man charged is george pop top lust, foreign policy advisor for the trump campaign. as part of plea agreement, he admitted to lying about his

dealings with the russians. the white house distanced itself from the they men charged, while also downplaying the significance of the indictment. >> today's announcement has nothing to do with the president, we've been saying from day one no evidence of trump/russia collusion, nothing in the indictment today changes that at all. >> the president reacted to the charges, tweeting, quote, sorry but his is years ago, before paul manafort was part of the trump campaign. also, there is no collusion. republican senator jeff flake of arizona announced spoken white house critics -- >> obviously can't touch, the firing or pardoning, those who were indicted, short circuiting process. >> manafort and gate posted bonds and were confined under house arrest. they're due to return to court on thursday. mola lenghi, cbs-3, " eyewitness news." >> and despite monday's development, the white house says it believes the special council's investigation is close to being finished.

>> white house chief of staff john kelly says he stands by comments he made two weeks ago about a florida congress woman , frederica wilson. kelly falsely claimed sill son bragged about funding. video showed wilson never made the claims kelly said that she did. wilson has criticized president trump over his calls to families of service members killed in the line of duty. >> defense has rested in the bribery style of trial of bob menendez. took the stands during the nine week trial. argument could start as early as tomorrow. charged with excepting free flight on private jet and other gifts from melgin, and both men deny the charge. >> pennsylvania governor tom wolf says existing gambling revenue will not be used to close the state budget gap, but expanded gambling legislation do just that. pennsylvania is the number one state in the country for tax revenue from the casino

say, their investigation is not over. well, penn state says it is no longer recognizing what fraternities, that's after new rules about serving syringe alcohol at social vents were violated. the university says delta will not be recognized again until the end of the spring semester additionally, pie la m.d. api will not be recognized until 2019. that means the fraternities cannot participate in greek life events like homecoming, the dance marathon. penn state already banned another fraternity following the death of timothy piazza. >> down south now, what was thought to be harmless tweet leads to criminal investigation for a mississippi mother. take a look at this, alex mcdaniel says this tweet three year old olds for sale, $12, best over, got her a visit from the child protective services and sheriff's offers. someone accused her of child trafficking and mental illness in the end police did decline to file charges, and mcdaniel said she will think twice

and the girl, that means, are always around. so i mean, they and the cat interrupt his video conference calls all the time. >> that story from england. >> exactly, exactly. but he's never doing tv interviews, so -- luckily people think it is hilarious and he get away with it, right >> it is halloween, katie. >> and the kids are net. >> yes, yes, i think it bee hoof the parent to put one extra layer under the costume. >> it is not too bad. >> it is late october. what you would expect. nothing atypical about this forecast, we look back at the wettest, driest, warmest, the coldest, halloweens we've ever faced. we don't even come close to any of these. yes, there was a snowy halloween in our past, happened back in 1925 whether .4 of an inch every snow actually fell on the pumpkins. meanwhile, the wettest one happened all the way back in 1895, very long standing record where we ended one over an inch worth every rainfall. and we were in the summer like territory one time ago, back

in 1946 at 82 degrees. coldest daytime high on halloween was 41. so we'll likely drop through those levels during the overnight but won't be that chilly throughout the day. meanwhile looking at storm scan3, we do have little hint of moisture working its way across the great lakes region, i don't think do you have worry about, that generally under the influence of high pressure for now, so do expect to see just some sunshine throughout the day. little breezy through midday, but should ease up again in time for the kids to head out once the sunsets. there is another frost advisory takes effect later tonight. that's not posted right now, rather into tonight, starting at midnight, boo, then we look forward to tomorrow it will still be out there through the morning rush, so maybe give yourself the extra minute or two. but the sun will be in full effect here today. high hits 60. that's right where we should be again, little breezy through the day, but later on tonight we drop it down to about 41 degrees, again, there was a time whether we couldn't even break half that value on halloween. so not doing too bad here today. however, this is somewhat of an unsettled forecast. i don't think we've got

drenching wash out coming up any time soon per say, but few shower chances even as early as tomorrow. meisha? >> good to know. all right, katie, thank you so much. going to be so nice to see that sunshine, good morning, everybody, and happy halloween so, construction out here, we've got a lot t schuylkill eastbound closed between 30th street and south street. kind of used to this area. crews have not yet moved out of the way. see them sitting there. also more construction on the schuylkill. this is eastbound, there is three different places so hang with movement even between turnpike and gulph mills, eastbound between the blue route and city avenue, and westbound between blue route and 202. there was construction on nine , a that's now since been cleared. but we do have an accident, here, in jenkintown. 611 old york road, at cloverly avenue. probably not going to slow you down too much right now. just heads up, that it is out there. if that's your neck of the woods. also, norristown, some construction crews are out here, as well, 202 dekalb street, that's closed between the schuylkill avenue and lafayette street. you will have to use an alternate, 202 markley street is going to be your best bet

you know, he had a premature baby and i think he had just been given the diagnosis that she had down syndrome. lauren brought out the best in me. she made me a different person. deep down in his heart he feels for people who are disadvantaged. lauren's a light in everybody eye. she's the spark that has started the fire. the goal is to keep places like this open so all people, regardless of disability, have an opportunity for employment. see, i love you. i love you guys too. you know that. yeah.
