12:17 pm
far warmer, too. there you go. the warmest of the halloween we've ever recorded happened back in 1946. it was 82 degrees, down right balmy and summer like. the coldest daytime high for halloween ever record recalled in philly was back in 1920. but notice, it was also the snowiest halloween where we ended up with .4 of an inch falling on the pumpkins, and the wettest happened in 1895. that's very long standing record. but we won't come close to any of those values for daytime highs at least, later tonight we drop down to the 40's, but do have little disturbance, not causing any major headaches, breeze, and cranking out there right now, otherwise this disturbance has zero impact on the area, will bypass us with no harm, no foul, no problems of the nice and clear, with just couple every clouds overhead here and there. meanwhile, i want to jump to tomorrow. that's when the beginning of some more unsettled weather start to take shape likely to see more of t by the time on the air again, on "eyewitness news" at noon, there will

likely be some wet weather to trackment and especially true for the northwest half of our region. models have been consistent, philly can expect a dry day, given clouds, cool air, i don't think we'll pop out of the 50's, but it might be good idea to p the umbrella if you live in the northwest counties, south jersey, delaware, probably totally dry tomorrow. thursday may be shower because there is do your owe of front on the way. it does turn little unsettled with every passing day. meanwhile the breitbart sunlight for you, tell tail trees waiving in the breeze, definitely looking a lot more breitbart and colorful with fall foliage, but it is cool outside. 49 degrees, west southwest win , making it feel cool already, so future wind gusts, so the gust cost still peak easily into the 20's, and this model indicate it might be even little higher than that depending where you are. as the afternoon progresses
12:19 pm
look how this happens it, really eases up, while you might still have wrestling leaves, going out trick-or-treating worse of the breeze tapers off with good timing. but here is the thing, also going to get pretty chilly under the clear sky here this evening. so for the rest of this afternoon lofts sunshine, daytime high right around 6o but the gusts are still noticeable, meanwhile headed out this evening you have not only nearly full moon, waxing specifically with about 83% illumination to be again very specific, but you are going to see few clouds building in to create the erie effect as the night progresses, about 53 as the sun goes down, those temperatures will drop off what quickly, the haverings year layer to think about putting on under the costume, frost advise have i, wind eases up later, with theties shi wouldn't be shock to see if you wake to up frost in any of the outlying suburbs like reading, ear hey mount pocono,
