alicia newest is liver in the salt center tracking the latest developments. >> ukee, jess, new york city officials just wrapped up news conference updating us on this attack. in the conference the city police commissioner said this was quote tragedy of the greatest magnitude. the city's mayor bill de blasio followed him saying it was a terror attack and particularly cowardsly one watch we know about the attack so far. around 3:15 this afternoon witnesses say that a home depo rental truck plowed down a bicycle path, for span of four blocks, busy area of west street and chamber street located in the tribeca section lower manhattan. along the west side a highway also located near that not far from city hall or the world trade center. now according to eyewitnesses cents, once this driver crashed into another vehicle, he proceeded to exit the truck , and fire what sounded like shots while holding what appeared to be two weapons. but according to new york city police department, this suspect was holding imitation firearms, the gunfire came from police who shot the suspect in the leg.

encourage residents to speak up, not only if they see something odd on the street, but if they sense something odd going on with someone they know. now, commissioner ross added that residents have received this memo, and nearly once a day authority here in philadelphia receive reports of suspicious packages. luckily, nothing often comes of these report, but it shows that resident are engaged and aware of their surroundings, and connected with the philadelphia police department now, the commissioner also echoed the sentiment of new york mayor bill de blasio, areas like kelly drive, people off den go running, go cycling , he said this is something we cannot stop doing as a city, that these kind of events that go on around this country and around this world needs to be something where we regard our police in a very highway, and the fact that he says, you know, you have these people who want to carry out some kind of attack, in which they do, but you have to also understand that there are people planning attacks that are never able to go through with them, he says we have to

christie and guadagno left new jersey stuck. i'm serious about moving new jersey forward. he stood up to north jersey special interests nobody delivers more for south jersey than steve sweeney. to increase funding for our schools. he stopped christie's commuter tax, saving south jersey residents over 200 million dollars. and he led the charge to pass paid family leave. aarp applauded sweeney for freezing property taxes for seniors and cutting prices on prescription drugs. "i got to take my hat off to him.

he's a man of his word." steve sweeney. because there's more work to do to get south jersey's fair share. why are south jerseyans so angry headlines at sweeney? up. sweeney repeatedly sided with chris christie to underfund south jersey schools, increase standardized testing like parcc, cut take-home pay for teachers, and broke his promise to fund the pensions of hundreds of thousands of new jerseyans- all while padding his own. steve sweeney says a lot of things. but the truth is, he's not on our side.
