your travels take you, not looking to bad in the city. certainly not looking to bad right now with the fog out overlooking pleasant valley and middle high schools. 53 degrees. this is up at brodheadsville. here is a look at storm scan, really tough to make out fog on saturday light. but it is out there there in patches. and with time we will see it scour out. ends up with more sun than anything. next cold front are bridges in couple every stray showers here second half of the day. so it is act active pattern, active day, warm day, as well, starting date off mid to up ear's, and everywhere of this slew every objections we have seen temperatures in the 60s even just in the last hour and a half or so. so very warm start. that does mean that light layer is all you'll really need to send the kids out to the school bus stop w eventually we flirt with records. 78 degrees for the daytime high here today, meisha. records it beat 80. so see how we do. >> katie the parent are loving this. no mittens, no boot, imagine when the winter comes when all of the kids? >> extra five minutes just to get them ready to leave.

police. >> officers found two people shot to death inside after car in kensington, they say the gruesome discovery around 10:30 p.m. last night. officer say the car park on the 3500 block of amber street they found woman and driver seat and man in a front passenger seat. both had been shot in the head authorities pronounce both victims dead at the scene. >> this also found gun inside of the car. >> we didn't finds any bullet holes in the vehicle. vehicle door windows, are down so there is no broken glass. >> investigators are still trying to figure out a motive. they're not rooming out the possibility of this being a murder suicide. so far no arrests. >> new this morning, house crumbles to the grounds in philadelphia's logan section. this is the 900 block every west fisher avenue. we are told vacant house, the city's department of licenses and inspections is looking into the cause of the collapse fortunately, no one was injured. >> a camden county police officer continues to recover after he was shot wednesday night.

meantime, we're learning just how lucky he was. officer patrick o'hanlon shot in the thigh during struggle with may hon wednesday night. police say he's a known member of the crypts gang. this happened in camden's center ville section. the 19 year old almost shot the officer in the face, but the gun jammed. officials say ma hand, from lindenwold old, extensive criminal history. arrested ten times, and convicted of three felonies, since becoming a adult. >> mourners gathered in manhattan last night for candlelight vigil near the scene of the attack. city now placing concrete barriers along that path to keep cars from reaching it. the suspect in the deadly attack sue he's still in jail. now going through his backgrounds, and also questioning his friends. >> well, house republicans unveiled their new tax bill, while gop leaders say the bill is for the average family, democrats say the legislation puts corporations before children.

here's cbs news correspondent hen a doba. >> tax cuts, if we get this through, and i think we will, you're going to see this economy take off like a rocket ship. >> president trump on fox news last night call tax overhaul plan unveiled by house republicans thursday, the biggest tax cuts in the history of our country. >> the plan would slash the number of individual tax et cetera from seven to four. top raid would remain at 39.6% but it would only apply to households making a million dollars or more. the median household making $06,000 a year would see it rate drop from 15% to 12. the plan would also double the standard deduction, to $12,000 for individuals, and $24,000 for married couples. the democrats insist eliminate ago deduction for state and local income taxes hurts those in high tax states, like california and new york. >> many, many, many middle class families will see their taxes go up under this plan. >> the bill will need the

or less. so as we mention the dense fog advisory is posted. here is a loom at current conditions. notice, it is patchy. it is 10-mile visibility at philadelphia international airport right now. as i overlook the city skyline , just from the skydeck , i don't see any low-lying cloud cover let alone enough to cause you visibility myfoxphilly.com, that could change in the next few hours, but really isn't looking bad. new jersey stuck, down to half mile a.c. airport milville and trenton. now around the region, it is just warm. would you believe it is warm nerve mount pocono than it is at the shore right now? at least at the a.c. airport? at 58 degrees currently at philly international. so very warm start to the morning. as i stands out here, it actually feels a tad muggy. not uncomfortably so. you can tell there is moisture to work with in the atmosphere , as the day progresses next cold front comes in. currently pent up back over up-state new york and northwestern pa. but once that gets here, it is going to set off a couple of showers. and that's just the first of several chances for wet weather in this forecast, meisha. which i'll breakdown in more

detail little later on. >> all right, katie, thank you so much. you mention the fog in new jersey, definately seeing that in some of our shot as well, in fact, i'll talk about speed restriction coming up. ninety-five scout at girard, working in the southbound direction. towards center city guys looking actually okay. starting to slow down little bit on 95. but overall kinds of used to that now at 6:30. 422 headlight moving in the eastbound direction past oaks. actually looking real nice there. now we do have couple every accident out there, accident here, cheltenham at ogontz avenue, traveling less than posted speeds, 20 miles per hour there. plus we have another accident in lansdale, sumneytown pike at rockville road. plus, there are report of a car fire in norristown, as well, main street and at forest avenue. if you are in those areas anywhere near them give yourselves some extra time. then this is what i was talking becomes we've got the fog advisory out there, because of that, the speed restriction is in play. new jersey turnpike, between hightstown and 195, down to 45 . because of that visibility. so just a heads up there.

then talking about an event coming up in weekend, talking more about this coming up in the next ten minutes or so. jim and rahel, back to you. >> thank you shall meisha. some breaking news to report. three people returned to the hospital after flames break out inside north philadelphia home. i "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live at the scene where firefighters say they just got the fire under control. what can you tell us? >> rahel, jim, good morning, quite the dramatic scene here in north philadelphia overnight. as you mentioned, three people taken to the hospital, with injuries as a result of this fire. two of those people, taken to the hospital, with smoke inhalation. one person taken with second and third agree burns, i want to give you a live look now here at the scene in north philadelphia. we are coming to you right at oxford and 15th street. for a sweet story street story row home fire. firefighters still on the scene here. were able to get this fire under control in 30 minute. they first arrived on the scene around 5:30 to a lot of smoke and a lot of fire coming

out of the first floor of this build being. it split up into apartments. so they were able to go in and get at least six people out. this is occupied dwelling. six people inside needed to be rescued. including a eight year old little girl. they had their hands full. guess what? they had a lot of help too. because actually the first people on scene were philadelphia police officers. one of those police officers who were able to speak with, he was on patrol in this area. he came by. he saw a mattress on fire. got out, rush into the billing , heard screaming, new he had to get people out. one of the resident here actually visiting his girlfriends gave that police officer a fire ex extinguisher , tried to put a mattress that was on fire outside of the building and tried to get people out. six people rescued, a lot came down with the help of philadelphia fire, fire ladder , but take a listen to this philadelphia police officer's account of what he experienced early this morning take a listen.

>> baby girl, screams coming from the third floor. i tried to make entry. the whole first floor was engulfed in flames. the smoke and fire was too much. and we have the back wasn't on fire, so that was the easiest way for none of us to get hurt i had a fire extinguisher, and put the fire out the best i could. that didn't work though so we had to take immediate togs get everyone out. >> there was pretty bad. >> this one goes down on the books. >> so that officer has been on the force for ten years. this was actually his second fire in two weeks, where he got out of his patrol car, went in, and helped get people out. five philadelphia police officers in total on the scene helping to rest too people before firefighters arrived. again at least six people rescued from the row home burning overnight, three taken to the hospital, two with smoke inhalation, one with second and third agree burns. this is still a developing story. we will continue to bring you the latest on air, on line, at cbsphilly.com. for now live in north philadelphia, january car baio

"eyewitness news" reporter trang do live outside of the apple suburban square store in ardmore where the wait is almost over. just more than 20 minute now, trang. >> reporter: yes, rahel, well, these folks here, they are waiting in line. as they've been all night long take a look here, the employees are out here, and they're already getting people's names. so the line actually grew quite a bit. gotten shorter because they're taking people's names to hole their place in line, and will text them when they can open up and come get their phones. but i just talk to a gentleman , who was the very first person in line. he says he got here at 11:15 a.m. yesterday morning. >> other nature provided a perfectly mild night for apple diehard, to be among the first to get their hands on the highly anticipated iphone ten.
