>> reporter: fast of a fast moving fine on the 1500 block of fox oxford street in north philadelphia row home split into apartments. it is now ruined. but hours before the concern was much greater, and six people lived here and including an eight year-old girl and they needed to get out. i heard someone screaming and mattress was on fire and i ran out there, with a bucket of water. >> reporter: on patrol friday morning, 10 year veteran philadelphia police officer eric, was one of the first on the scene. he spotted that fire, as it started to spread from the first floor, and then did not hesitate. >> fire extinguisher, i put out the fire as best as i can. that did little. we had to take immediate action. >> reporter: he and five other philadelphia cops rushed to the rescue. >> it was on fire. none of us would get hurt. went to the second floor climbed over to the rooftop and we were able to get him off the roof and back on to the ground level and they were treated for minor injuries. >> reporter: we help of philly fire everyone got out.

the head. victims were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later they found a gun inside the car. >> as of right now we didn't get any information or description of the shooter or shooters, who fled the scene, and due to the fact that there is a weapon recovered, inside, of the vehicle, we're not ruling out the possibility that this may have been a murder/suicide. >> and police confirming it was in fact a murder suicide. investigators at this point still trying to figure out a motive. philadelphia police need your help trying to find a missing teen with autism. seventeen year-old robert bat ista the third was last seen in the 4700 block of vista street yesterday. he is autistic and he is also diagnosed with bipolar disorder and adhd. if you have seen this young man or know where he is, please cat police. temperatures have, creeped backup again as we kick off the weekend and while we're enjoying these comfortable temperatures we hear things will be cooling off. meteorologist katie fehlinger

right now on "eyewitness news" with frantic moments caught on camera this video shows new york city police officer jumping into action to save a baby's life. baby girl had stopped breathing at a subway station and the officer as you can see here giving the baby chest compressions as another officer performs mouth-to-mouth. the baby was over heated and suffered from a seizure, that baby is now recovering in the hospital. well, isis has claim responsibility for tuesday's
