get very slow. i would suggest going another way. boulevard at ninth street, two inner lanes, one outer lane and it will get very slow as we all know. fifty-nine south at betsy ross , push in the southbound direction, starting to heat levels here, but overall still looking okay. then disabling vehicle schuylkill eastbound spring garden, it was blocking the left lane. now it is pulled all the way off to the shore. but again this area is also getting pretty busy this morning. rahel, and jim, back to you. >> investigators are trying to pinpoint the motive for deadly mass shooting at texas church. >> a candlelight vigil hon orders the victims of the shooting at the first baptist church in sutherland springs. man dress in the black walked in during sunday morning services. he killed 26 people and wounded about 20 other. police found the suspect dead a short time later. investigators identify him as devin kelley. they say the air force gave him a bad conduct discharge after he allegedly assaulted his spouse and child. >> the tragedy of course is

into it. but fortunately, somebody else had a gun that was shooting in the opposite direction, otherwise it wouldn't have been as bad as it was, it would have been much worse. >> earlier the president focused his attention on bolstering us trade, one of the main goals in the 12 day asian trip. last year, the us trade deficit with japan nearly reached $70 billion. in a speech to ceo here in tokyo this morning, the president accused his host of being unfair trading partners. >> japan has been winning. do you know that. >> he called out the executives of japanese automakers sitting right in front of him. >> try building your cars in the united states, instead of helping them over. is that impossible to ask? >> that's not rude. is that rude? i don't think so. >> whether asked about north korea, a mr. trump said he hoped for a peaceful solution. he urged japan to take additional steps to protect itself. >> the prime minister of japan is going to be purchasing massive amount every military equipment, as he should. >> the president wraps up his visit to japan tonight. he heads to south korea

"eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at police headquarters with more on the investigation. good morning, trang. >> well, good morning, jim, rahel. this crime was witnessed by a number of children, who were just hanging out outside when this teen was killed. so, police do have decent description of the suspect, but they've yet to make any arrests. >> we are so -- >> with tears in their eyes, balloons and canned unless their hands, family, friends, and neighbors, gathered outside after north philadelphia home, where 16 year old was gun down, just after midnight sunday. >> was a special boy. no problems. very respectful. >> police say the teen was hanging out with a group of children, on the 2700 block of north 19th street. when a man was gun approached,

and began firing to the crowd. the 16 year old was shot three times. paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene. >> this is the pain that we go to bed with. this is the pain we wake up with. this is the pain that we will never forget. >> a bullet also struck a 12 year old boy in the leg. he was returned to temple hospital and is expected to recover. >> i know he was -- >> his neighbors mourn the fallen teen, they also mound the sense of safety they once felt from this normally quiet block. >> all they did was pray up down and down the street. house to house, enjoying theirselves as teenagers should do, they should be able to play on the block. they should be able to play. they should be able to go outside your house and not have to worry about this. >> and the suspect is described as a light skinned black male with a thin builds rather around five-with with wavy herring and light eyes f anyone has information they're asked to contact police at

215686-tips. for now live outside police headquarters, trang do, cbs-3 "eyewitness news," back to you >> thank you, trang. authorities in montgomery count have i formally charged this man, 60 year old jamison bokman in the death every his older brother. facing first degree murder charges after police say he killed 64 year old harry back man in his elkins park home. according to police the he recently bailed his brother out of jail. >> authorities in delaware county open up an investigation into a house fire that left a woman seriously injured. the two alarm blaze ripped through this home on king avenue, in folcroft yesterday evening. once the flames were out, we're told l victim found inside unconscious. no words on her condition at this point. officials are now trying to figure out what spark the fire , and they're not ruling out the possibility of arson. >> we're not sure about that either. they're going to look into that. they're going to bring i think an arson dog in here. they do a lot of things to verify that first. >> sadly, two cats were killed in that blaze. up next: the big surprise on broadwayment find out the star who showed up on stage,

he plays basketball with lauren. steve called, fairly frantic. you know, he had a premature baby and i think he had just been given the diagnosis that she had down syndrome. lauren brought out the best in me. she made me a different person. deep down in his heart he feels for people who are disadvantaged. lauren's a light in everybody eye. she's the spark that has started the fire. the goal is to keep places like this open so all people, regardless of disability, have an opportunity for employment. see, i love you. i love you guys too. you know that. yeah. hi. camy energy bill?ave on old appliances. like a hot water heater? it's around here somewhere. nope. nope. what is this thing?

the afternoon, and temperatures from the eyewitness weather watchers off to very, very warm start. low 60s, everywhere, that we see any observations coming in we start off in new jersey, 63 s house, a lot of clouds in lawrenceville. we also have low 60s to report out in gilbertsville, where eileen is reporting 62 degrees , lots of clouds, there as well, she did say she's got little bit after fog out there. all kind of in the fog from having to turn the clocks back , not really quite on the rhythm just yet. but did say the eagles sure weren't yesterday. that clock change did not affect them at all it, it? one more, we take you into new jersey one more time. sixty-three comes in from allen, lot of clouds at his house but he also has a southwest wind at 10 miles per hour, unlikely fog will form there if that keeps up. meanwhile your frontal boundery, leading edge of it anyway, pretty solid batch of rain working its way in southwestern pa into western maryland, that is likely to scoot past philadelphia proper

several scandels came to follow. weiner is the estranged husband of hillary clinton, aide. she filed for divorce in pavement after nine weeks of testimony jury in the trial of senator bob menendez will begin deliberations later today. first, they'll hear from his attorney, then the prosecution 's rebuttal. menendez is charged with excepting gifts from a florida eye doctor, in exchange for pressuring government officials, on behalf of the doctors business interests. both men deny any wrong-doing. well, sport fans watch as the philadelphia eagles dominated the broncos on the field last night. >> well, what fans may have missed was the 13 year old south jersey boy on the side lines. fit gerald of washington township is a neuroblastoma cancer survivor and teen born with a muscle disorder, but cole doesn't let that define him. he dreams of making it into the nfl some day with his disorder he'll never be able to play, but believes there is always another way with the help of the eagles, he discovered that way this weekend.
