tight. >> i'm so proud of my 21 and a half years experience as assistant district attorney. >> career prosecutors bet grossman. >> i also think there is a lot of excitement about the idea of actual reform. >> and notable defense and civil rights attorney, larry krasner, going head-to-head in one of the mow cone tens us philadelphia district attorney races in recent memory. krasner emerge from the crowded democratic primary following the indictment of disgraced da set williams, who was eventually convicted of taking bribes and committing fraud. >> i actually believe both in law and order not just order. and that is reform. we have been dealing with a system in which it was all about orders. that meant locking everybody up as opposed to following constitutional requirements and being bald. >> but it is that outsider approach that's rubbing some in the public safety community the wrong way. it earned the republican grossman the endorse doorsment of the philadelphia police union and of the inquirer. >> i just want to serve the people of philadelphia with honesty and inch telling pretty, and know that they

have a champion in the da's offers for victims, survivors of crime and neighborhoods. >> so now what's normally a race where the democrat wins going away, this time both saying they feel confident. >> i think voters of all types and from all backgrounds are going to rally around the idea of putting their money back in public schools and taking it out of excessive inch incarceration. >> people have given me their time, asked good questions, and nobody has turned me away because i'm a republican. so i think there is a very good chance here. >> pennsylvania polling places open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. both candidates expected to vote fairly early, and that window, in the 8:00 range. we will be therefore that. live in center city, henry rosoff, cbs 3, "eyewitness news." >> thank you, henry. >> a.m. philadelphia voters aren't the only ones making big decisions today at the polls. new jersey voters will elect a new governor. republican kim guadagno and democrat fill murphy both hoping to replace governor chris christie.

the latest quinnipiac university poll shows murphy had 12-point advantage down from 20-point lead about two weeks ago. >> voters in allentown voting whether their mayor should have a fourth term. facing corruption charges, accused of excepting more than $150,000 in campaign contributions, in exchange for city contract. republicans can real estate developer matt high man is challenging him, pulaski denies any wrong-doing. >> well, time now 5:37. in business news this morning, one major retail is her scaling back it "black friday" plans. >> money watch's diane king hall joins us live from the new york stock exchange with that and the latest numbers on wall street. good morning, diane. >> good morning, rahel and jim well, here on wall street, stocks made modest games, enough for fresh set of robbed the s&p 500 gained three. the drug store chain cbs says it will offer next day delivery for prescription drugs nationwide.

they say delivery set to begin in 2018. cbs making the move as it is widely expected that amazon will soon get into the prescription drug business. target touched back on "black friday" madness, the retail giant says it will open stores at 6:00 p.m. on thanksgiving day. but, unlike last year, doors will close from midnight to 6:00 a.m. target stores didn't see great deal of traffic in the we hours of the morning last year , the move also designed to give employees some rest. >> and a new ad by coca-cola that aims to celebrate women being able to drive in sound r arab ya getting mixed reviews on social media. some use remembers applauding the company's ad, while other say the beverage giant is just trying to profit off of historic moment. jim, rahel. >> it is so hard to know what the seeing the full ad, diane, but i feel such attributing i time for marketers, sentiment are sensitive right now, and really have to be careful. >> it is sensitive times. my cursory look at the ad, it

this picture you can see daylight now. >> not a ton of sunshine, 33 degrees, will stay cold enough up in the highest terrain, carbon, monroe counties with the next disturbance moving in you could end up with couple over? flakes out there. now, let's take it out to the eyewitness weather watchers quickly here, reporting some chill in the air for sure. you have got generally a lot of 30's, certainly up toward the poconos, see zoom in little bit more, go into delaware, 38 degrees right now , generally nice clear sky. just sent this in the last ten minutes. >> forty-one a cents across river into southwestern new jersey where david dutch also has clear sky, but it is still cooler, by comparison, there, and everywhere else. and to one more we go back into pennsylvania where barbara reports 37 degrees under clear sky.

now, is this going to stick around, the clear, the quiet weather? definitely not. we have storm system moving in or disturbance i would like to call it rather because we do have swat of rain going zero to overtake the region charging marching east, eventually arriving here into the early afternoon hours specially one of first lasts cents you'll see those western suburbs, and then just spreads east, now, the heaviest rain with this is going to fall into specially the southern half of our area, we put future rain apartments into motion here, see that, reflected pretty well. go from few tents after inch at worse up near the mountains , lehigh valley region to up to or over an inch in a lot of southern new jersey and delaware. >> it does appear the p.m. m rush will be majorly impacted by that, also, if you plan to go to the polls little later, meanwhile right now now, it is all clear out there. but draw a line pretty much chester to bucks county, point southeast, heaviest rain eventually gets in here. meanwhile very chilly in the meantime, especially friday

and saturday, where meisha we're not breaking out of the 40's,. >> wow, it will be such a big contrast, it was even this morning even walking into the building. thanks so much, katie. well, looking outside right now, guys, things looking pretty good on the ben franklin bridge, we push in the westbound direction from jersey take a look at that. looking great. really nice company there. schuylkill eastbound, city avenue, looking really nice here as well. i would say starting to build levels on the westbound side but overall we're still traveling around at posted speeds, take a look at this sky, george us shot there, travel into center city be prepared to put on brakes little bit. overall still looking good. blue route at mid count what i we are looking at push in the southbound direct, all looking nice there. delaware county 95 north at 452, we take that all the way up there, that's what we're looking at, looking good there , too, guys, enjoy. construction turnpike eastbound pa turnpike eastbound between neshaminy falls and delaware river bridge, right lane compromised , crews still out there. a lot of the overnight construction crews seeing on the schuylkill all clear. we do have some construction

he stood up to north jersey special interests nobody delivers more for south jersey than steve sweeney. to increase funding for our schools. he stopped christie's commuter tax, saving south jersey residents over 200 million dollars. and he led the charge to pass paid family leave. aarp applauded sweeney for freezing property taxes for seniors and cutting prices on prescription drugs.
