katie. we are looking outside, like i said we are looking at, just some construction out there for you. we are getting used this talking about it every day for two weeks in a row it seems like. construction schuylkill eastbound closed between 30th and south street i will let you know when that opens up but it is still closed. crew is still out there construction schuylkill westbound between boulevard and belmont avenue, all of the cones in the roadway there, two left lanes are compromised and still very dark so take it easy. burlington bristol bridge scheduled to go up at 4:20. hard to see right now but they have been doing test openings this is seventh one since 8:00 . it sounds like there may be one or two this morning we will see i'll let you know when i know. jim, back over to you. a manhunt is underway after a deadly shooting in north philadelphia this happened just after midnight at 30th and page street in strawberry mansion. police say that they found the 23 year-old victim lying in the street. he had been shot in the face. >> we did find numerous, spent shell casings from a

semiautomatic weapon, just feet away, from the victim's body, so, it appears that the shooter was firing, from pretty close proximity. >> police say victim lived a block away from the crime scene if you have any information about this shooting you are asked to call police. data recorders on roy halladay's plane are on their way to the ntsb lab for processing. they are trying to figure out what caused crash that killed the former phillies pitcher. this video shows halladay flying dangerously low moments before he was killed. halladay's plane icon a5 has unique design and can london water. this is third a5 crash this year. former ntsb chairman says he sees red flags. >> this is extraordinary to have three accidents in six or seven months. >> few weeks before the crash the company's ceo recommended a lower flying altitude for its customers. meanwhile officials say the investigation into halladay's plane crash could take about a year. a west deptford police officer is off the job and

facing charges for an elaborate scheme. authorities say he was profit ing from the drug arrests he was may go. this is thomas mcway, a four year veteran of the west deptford police department. officials say that a six month investigation revealed mcwayne tricked people into meeting him with drugs and then showed up and made an arrest. not only that police say he then somehow funneled those very same people in the drug rehab facility that he had a financial stake in. >> here's a guy bringing in all of these drug arrests every month and sitting there going my god this guy is phenomenal and find out it is not what it appears to be. >> mcwayne was suspended from the police department and turned himself in on tuesday and charged with official misconduct, tampering with evidence and computer crimes. we now know that the pennsylvania state police corporal shot on the job this week in northampton county helped save his own life. corporal seth kelly remains in critical condition. yesterday at alleged gunman daniel clary was arraigned from the hospital bed. judge set bail at one million-dollar, the 22-year

old suspect was also shot during the exchange of gunfire with corporal kelly and another trooper after what began as aid routine traffic stop in plainfield township. corporal kelly was shot multiple times. >> even through all of this, he carries a tourniquet on his belt and he was able to have the wherewithal to pull that tourniquet off his belt and apply that to one of his wound more than likely saving his own life. >> clary's family was belligerent with our joe holden at their home in the poconos yesterday. meantime other trooper on the scene, ryan seible suffered minor injuries and expected to be okay. a teenager accused of shooting a camden teenager last week admits he ran from police carrying a loaded gun but 19 year-old delran mahand claims officer o'hanlon grabbed the gun and shot himself in the leg. officer's father spoke with him, was denied bail, on attempted charges, he says his

son was determined to attend the hearing. >> just to show that he is still, you know, he is a tough kid and it won't deter him. he has all of the support. he is thanking everybody coming back by showing up. >> authorities also say mahand attempted to shoot officer o'hanlon in the face but the gun misfired. an investigation is underway after authorities found a woman's body in the wooded area chopper three over 300 block of west main street yesterday in birdboro, police were called to the scene just before 11:30 a.m. pennsylvania state police is heading up the investigation and so far no arrest. a new jersey woman who through a child in front of the moving train has been found not guilty of attempted murder by reason of insanity. twenty year-old autumn, will be committed to a psychiatric facility. a judge made the ruling after reviewing medical record, authorities say that the woman , threw the five-year old girl on the track at burlington town station in january and child was rescued

question one that doesn't catch your eye. it does have some snow associated with it that will come through moisture starved but by the time it gets to us it is in the middle part of the afternoon and then we will have, a chill in the air grant budd warmth, enough that even if we see a few showers it is rain showers. here's that freeze watch not tonight but tomorrow night, that is when temperatures really start to plumet here and we will take a look down through the southern third of our area we will find bulk of it. meanwhile limited sunshine for now, we should start off with some of it once that front gets in it will trigger a spotty late day shower. nothing major if you don't want to take an umbrella along you can getaway without it but just know you may see wet weather rolling through spending half of the day and early evening. later tonight temperatures do start to drop off readily here and wind picks up in the wake of the front. it might as well be in the 20 's here, looking forward to friday, and saturday, and that is how it will feel for you when you factor in that wind

at&t and federal regulators are arguing publicly over cnn. at&t is trying to buy time warner which owns cnn for $85 billion. federal antitrust regulators are reviewing the dealing and there are reports that the federal want at&t to sell off cnn and direct tv to get approval. other says at&t offered to sell cnn but company ceo is denying. that he has in plans to sell the news network. president trump has frequently attacked cnn as fake news and is against the deal. 4:50. time for a check of business news.

we have chilly air today marks the arrival and passage of the reenforcing shot of cold that will down trigger a spotty shower at some point later today but really it is what comes in the wake that becomes the headline with temperatures approaching record, earlier saturday morning. so forecasted low is 25, but that is close to the record in 1961 it business to feel like wintertime. we have showers still out there off to the south, that will not mess with us but it will keep us in the southern counties in the cloud cover, by the time that next front to the north west gets here it is mainly later today. we will just see cloud building watch for that isolated shower in a few spots
