"eyewitness news" reporter greg argos is live at the scene in kensington. so greg, what can you tell us. >> reporter: jim and rahel still a very active scene here at d street and indiana in kensington. i will step out of the way so you can see the damage. we're told both of them had two officers each in them, they were responding to a shooting call just a few

blocks away when this crash happened. four philadelphia police officers were injured in it. we are told one officer was taken to temple university hospital for, an injury to his head. the others, treated at this scene by paramedics. officers from the accident investigation district are on the scene right now trying to piece together what led to this crash, and they tell us four officers, two in each suv were responding to a shooting call at kensington and east allegheny where they collided at d street and indiana. eyewitness tells me it appears one of the police suv's was traveling the wrong direction on indiana when crash happened and also placed around 10:15 this morning. despite the accident, septa police officers on the scene of that shooting call just blocks away were able to arrest the suspect right there but back here live, you can take a look at just how serious this crash was, one of those suv's actually, pitting a home and a television phone, here in the area. once again, four philadelphia police officers injured, one

information. police say several adults were inside of the home, at the time of the shooting. well, police made a quick arrest following a deadly hit and run in south jersey. "eyewitness news" at 2800 block of route 73 in maple shade, police arrived just after 12:30 to find a man alive on the center median. medics pronounced him dead at the scene, no word on where authorities track down the alleged driver. a man was hit in the head with a baseball bat during a fight at a gas station on fifth and lehigh last wednesday night, police say that the 50 year-old victim is hospitalized in a medically induced coma. they hope you can identify two suspects seen in the surveillance video. suspects did getaway in a blue ford f150 with the solid black panel on the left side, a gate on the right side and couch in the rear bed. if you have any information police want to hear from you. well, details about a memorial service for phillies ace roy halladay is announced. >> coming up next disturbing new details about former football player aaron hernandez what scientists

>> reporter: jim, good afternoon, big day here, beautiful day, cold, wind bye these veterans have dealt with a lot worse. you mentioned 58 years, when it first start there had were veterans here from the spanish american war, also world war one, now we're see world war two, vietnam war and korean and desert storm. this has been going on since 11:00. thousands came out from media from all over delaware county to celebrate. senator bob casey, other elected official where is out honoring those veterans. many veterans from recent wars in afghanistan and iraq, korea really all over the world coming here to honor those veterans. i did have a chance to speak with the woman whose family had been coming to this parade for 40 years and she said it is a family tradition, forget cold, forget weather, she's proud to stand out here and honor not only veterans here but the veterans from around the country. >> it is a nice day for a lot of people that come out and we

colder, then what i just showed you. feels more like 20's out there for a lot of locations, including, right here in philadelphia, where it feels more like 27 degrees. feels more like 24 in allentown and a frigid 9 degrees, that is current wind chill, in the poconos. it is 21 degrees, that is what it feels like in reading. also, 26 degrees for lancaster high pressure will continue to , pour on in, and bringing that cold air, along with it, and as it settles in for your saturday, and then it will be turning very cold as we head in the overnight hours tonight , and then we will be challenging some record low temperatures as we make tonight to your saturday morning. so here's the forecast low temperature for saturday. 23 degrees, that is going to challenge current standing record low of 21 and that was setback in 1961. really, the cold air showing up, it is right on target as far as time is concerned. our average day of the first
