weather advisory posted that's actually been allowed to be canceled by the national weather service because the conditions just aren't support that. but here's what i will a say. if you are traveling into the areas where you have purple showing up on radar right now, lehigh valley, part of poconos , i80, i78, you're new york, anywhere like, that i would keep a very close watch on your car thermometer. because even though the winter weather advisory has now been canceled, you could still encounter some slick travel from this. it is not a guarantee. i would just say better safe than sorry on this one, certainly with the rain coming down light to moderate. that will slow you down anywhere so you'll need to do that regardless. forty the current temperature at the airport, up to trenton, 37 allentown, 33 mount pocono, and a chill in the air certainly, but just warming up that it isn't going to do anything but rain in the city, and all of i-95, let alone the rest of the region here to the south. you're 36 degrees currently in doylestown, 36 at quakertown, you get the idea, chilly ran

for most, primarily just rain showers. so watch out for some of the more isolated communities, places like fogles ville, next-door to allentown, will be chillier than it is in center city allentown. neighborhood by neighborhood things can actually change depending where you are. meanwhile as the day progresses i expect the daytime high to still be below average. up to only 47 this afternoon, but even as early as lunchtime , wet weather will have moved out. so soggy start to the morning granted but with time things do dry out. might even see hint of sun, before it is sets later today, meisha. >> that sure would be nice to see that sun, thank you so much. so glad to hear the winter weather advisory lifted. stuck with the wet roadways, will slow us down, take it ice , looking outside, burlington bristol bridge wentz up 5:22, closed now. hard to see in the camera shot wet roadways traffic lights out also, city avenue at conshohocken state road. also cents route 23. just a heads up. volume levels won't slow you

down too much. i want to pull your attention quickly. quick peak at the boulevard, headlight southbound direct. taillights are moving toward where this accident is. i'll pull it upright here. roosevelt boulevard northbound at mascher street all inner lanes are blocked. take a look at this t i don't want to say bumper to bumper conditions but certainly really starting to slow down in this area by the way with this accident one person was transported to the hospital. so just like i said with the wet roadways out there take it very easy. another accident talking about , delran new jersey, actually happened last night at 11:00 p.m. but we are still dealing with hartford road being closed, at summer hill drive. creek road will be your best bet. and also talking about a water main break in yardley. that actually happened last night, oxford road was closed and now reopened. more on this coming up in the next ten minutes, rahel, jim, back to you. >> meisha, thank you. overseas now, searching for survivors after powerful and deadly earthquake near the iran-iraq boarder. >> 300 people are dead after

the 7.3 magnitude quake, more than 3900 injured, hena doba brings us to up date. >> people search through crumbled buildings overnight, looking for survivors. >> after a 7.3 magnitude quake rocked the northern border, between iran and iraq, late sunday. re reducing entire villages to a return of the the quake was so powerful it was felt as far west as the the mediterranian coast. death toll in the hundreds cents and is expected to grow. more than 2500 people were hurt, and hospitalization are trying to keep up with the rising number of wounded. >> this woman says, she was hurt while escaping her house, when the earthquake hit. us gee logical survey says the earthquake was centered 19 miles outside the iraqi city of, at least zero six after shocks have been reported. the worse damage appears to be in the mountains of western iran, where at least 14 provinces were affected. iran state run television showed this surveillance video of panic people running out

head. >> suspect is charged with manslaughter. >> well, two shop remembers stabbed after a one of them interrupt a robbery are you at the mall of america in minnisota happened in men's dressing room at the macy department store. police say the suspect was trying to steel from a man who was trying on some clothes. the victim walks in on the suspect going through his belongings, the suspect stabbed him. >> when that happened, there was couple of other family members that assisted the victim in doing so a second victim sustained knife wounds. >> the family members stormed the suspect and hell him down until police arrived. we're told the victim's are non-life threat glenn texas church where gunman killed 26 people last week is now a memorial. >> all signs of the violence last been removed of the first baptist church in sutter lan spinned has been painted white found with the victim's name on each one, few blocks away, hundreds of worshippers attended the church first service since the deadly shooting. associate pastor says he

we had a winter weather advisory, that's been canceled don't have to worry so much about icing this morning, but you'll get slowed down anyway. i would walk out the door with a umbrella this morning, if it were me, it is still coming down light to moderate, no matter the kind of precipitation, it is still coming down. so you can see at the moment, yes, still pretty wet. on the opposite side of the building i was standing on, overlooking broad and spring garden. again, that sheen is tell tail , as well, going to trip you up with a some poor visibility, since we'll have brighter light flashing in your eyes before the sun comes up from the opposing headlights, but still morning that, yes, you know, less than ideal. but it could be worse. we have not thankfully seen the casino every icing that was at least a possibility up across the northern most counties. that's being reflected from the eyewitness weather watchers, too, we do have slew of observations that are into the mid or upper 30's, but you're just not cold enough to , further off to the north.

nothing further off to the north, but regards lets, just not colds enough for this to cause any major icing issues. now john up in perkasie. he is at 35 degrees. he said they just avoided the ice, but certainly, i love this advice, still want to use caution. you still want to slow down out there. because, even if it is not ice , rain will slow you down too. flicking windshield wipers, visibility will be reduced rain apartments for you, quick peak at some of these, not that impressive. we are at best up to maybe just over tenth after inch in any given location, so the casino every rain that will cause flooding but it is the casino every rain that will slow you down. just one big fat nuisance, the kind of situation that we find ourselves in here today. we switch gears. take a look at storm scan3 picture over the last three hours. so this looks a heck of a lot worse than it is turning out to be. this is i78. and, you know, even though you do have some light to moderate precipitation rolling through there, moist of it is strictly rainfall at the surface here.

in your most suburbs, keep a look on bridges and over passes on the car thermometer, be cautious, slick roads still certainly possible. but that could also come from straight up just rain. the rest of the day looking a lot better though, by lunchtime really. things could be clearing out or at least drying out. even though we may be stuck with clouds for the rest of the afternoon, you will probably see in some spots just little sun. more of the sun coming out tomorrow. should stay pretty dry. continue to rebound into thursday. that is where you are looking a lot more seasonable into the middle part of the week but another disturbance, so wednesday night into thursday, expect to see some additional showers. then the temperatures catch up to that system departure, 49 degrees in the sunshine on friday. meisha? >> all right, sure will be nice to see that sun. thanks, katie, looking outside , good morning, everyone, happy monday. so looking at 42, 42, creek road, take it toward 29a you can see volume levels certainly starting to pick up now. and of course, we have the wet roadways. give yourself couple of extra minute, vine at eighth street. headlights moving in the

eastbound direction, this is actually going towards 95. see what you are working with there, volume levels up as we push toward the 6:00 starting to build of course like i just said, wet roadways. traffic light out here. city avenue at conshohocken state road. route 23. just bringing it to your attention, won't slow you down too much. just be aware if that's in your neighborhood. also we do have another accident here in vineland new jersey route 55 northbound past route 47. we have the accident heavy since the 4:00 hour it might be due to the wet roadways. so just take it real easy. good news talking about an accident on the boulevard, where one person was transported to the hospital. this accident here northbound at mascher street had a has since been cleared traveling at less than supposed speeds. and another accident actually happened last night at 11:00 p.m. delran, new jersey, this is still affecting us this morning, hartford road closed at summer hill drive. you will have to use alternate creek road is going to be your best bet still around that area. then downed pole from earlier accident, somerdale new jersey route 30 white horse pike,
