hundreds every people including celebrities and athletes rally to protest rapper meek mill's prison sentence. newspaper report that the f.b.i. is now involved. >> and it is a race against time in iran, as rescuers use heavy equipment to dig through the earthquake rubble. daylight now giving us a better look at the damage as the death toll sky rockets. >> well, today is tuesday, november 14th, good morning, i'm jim donovan. >> i'm rahel solomon. katie and meisha keeping an eye on things getting oust out the door this morning. >> hey tuesday. looking outside, couple every accidents, they cleared right away lots of construction, nice dry roadways, that's helping us out. >> definitely. and we had the rain yesterday morning. if it didn't have the chance to dry out, you may feel sheen on the road surface. i don't think the main roads are too much after problem. it is mainly side streets. keep that this mind. meisha will have more on that throughout the morning here. the other thing to keep in mind, too, temperature has dropped off. because of the winds being so light, you may fine yourself having to brake out the ice

scrape they are morning. so give yourselves that extra minute or two, hit the road safely. but storm scan is at least quiet. we're seeing much more light of day over the horizon even in this hour than we were able to yesterday because there was so much cloud cover and rain rolling through. mid to upper 30s, pretty much the story across the region as a whole. yes, chill in the air, absolutely. and it is even little colder than average. but, at least the wind is light. so we are going to give you the benefit of the doubt here today. nice solid b plus for the afternoon, high hits 50. little less harsh than yesterday. you are going to see some sunshine. but i would definitely still walk out the door with that heavier coat. and again, just those minor issues that we talked about, as a problem for you in some spots this morning, with some fog in spots, then also, potential for few slick areas. now, look, you got another roller coaster coming coming up here. normal high 57 degrees. we should come nice and close to that into thursday. but then, another drop off waiting in the wings for us by the weekend again shall meisha >> not going to complain about b plus in november.

nope. i'll take t thanks so much, katie. good morning everybody, happy tuesday to youment looking outside. 422, headlight eastbound direction, steady slow. starting to pick up levels cracking into the 6:00 hour. you are still traveling at posted speeds here. you probably won't be asomugha we push little bit quarter past, 6:30, we start to slow down. malfunctioning traffic lights. got them in a couple of different areas. let's get to t schuylkill eastbound off ramp to 30th street and schuylkill eastbound the ramp to spring garden street. so what you are looking at, weaver some activity pulled off to the right shoulder there, as well, also, malfunction traffic lights, on bridge street, at talcony street. the bridesburg neighborhood. so heads up on this. so a lot of these malfunctioning traffic lights are not so much slowing you down, that's not what we're seeing, happy to put on your brakes, figure it out with your neighbors all coming to the cross sections, but overall heads up. we get more vehicles on the roadway it, will start to slow us down. talking about some of the accidents coming up in the next ten minutes, jim, back over to you. >> thank you shall meisha.

more on breaking news, violent altercation inside local apple bees. >> "eyewitness news" reporter henry rossoff at the scene in lawrenceville new jersey all morning long, henry, good morning. what can you tell us now? >> reporter: good morning, jim and rahel. the applebees off us1 still sealed off with wide per imette st. guillen at the. police officer more just arrived on the scene perhaps the next shift of officers and detectives, but most of the investigation is going on on the other side which we have some video of that we shot little earlier today. did see eyewitnesses here for hours and hours talking with police, not too long ago, one of the eyewitnesses before rushing in this car and taking off, all woe say is my friend, my friend, i said did your friend make it, he said we're not sure. then he rush off, like he was going to the hospital or going to check on his friend. other than that, detective not saying very much about the violent crime investigation that is going on inside the applebees, neither here on the scene nor at headquarters when

we call in so we will stay here, perhaps information on any of the two malls in the area. sifting through what we can, finding out what we k we'll update this as it develops. live in lawrenceville, henry rosoff, "eyewitness news." >> henry, thank you. philadelphia police are is her clinic for a kill they are morning, after deadly shooting in the city east germantown section. this happened on east garfield street, just before 2:00 this morning. officers found the shooting victim lying on the sidewalk across the street from his home. investigators are still trying to figure out a motive. attorney for rapper meek mills says he plans to file paperwork today. claiming the judge sent the rapper to prison. meanwhile, the new york post page six reporting the fbi is investigating the judge. report says undercover agents have been in the courtroom monitoring judge denise brinkly as far back as april 2016.

>> demonstrators outside the justice center, they say two to four years hine bars for probation vie lays is unfair. they lent their support to the philly born rapper. >> rally today because we all believe in him, and that the punishment bestowed upon him is extensive. it is cruel. it is motivated by unsavory circumstances. >> and along with this the demonstrators want the judge to be recused from the case. >> family, friends, former teammates, and fans will gathered today to celebrate the life of former phillies pitcher roy halladay. the future hall of fame enter spent little more than three seasons with the phillies, the 40 year old killed last week, when his plane crashed off the coast of florida. the celebration of halladay's life will take place at the spring training home of the phillies, in clearwater. cbs-3 sports director don bell will be live at the spectrum

on cbs-3 right after " eyewitness news" this morning >> well, cbs news has confirmed donald trump, jr. was in direct communication with wikileaks during the 2016 presidential campaign. the exchanges took place at the same time that wikileaks was publishing hacked material from democratic officials. cbs news correspondent hand a doba has the latest. >> in a series of screen shot monday night, probe president eldest son donald trump, jr., during the 2016 campaign. writing in part: how ironic that one of the congressional committees have chosen to selectively leak some message n1 of the messages from october 2016, don junior was asked by the hacking site to publicize it leaks from inside the hillary clinton campaign. trump junior's release came just two hours after the atlantic published communications with wikileaks through twitter direct messaging. in one instance, wikileaks suggested that if mr. trump were to lose, he should not concede, and instead, claim

for cdc's diabetes division, stephanie creel. good to have you here. - thank you. - i think this is just a great way of doing this, but this is really a big problem. - that's right. 84 million americans have prediabetes. 90% of them don't even know they have it. so, it's important that we raise awareness about prediabetes, and most importantly, that it can be reversed. we join with our partners at the ad council, the american medical association, american diabetes association to create this cute campaign. you can go online, watch cute baby goats in sweaters and puppies frolicking while you're taking this risk test. you can count on your fingers to figure out which risk factors might apply to you and whether or not you might have prediabetes. - but if all of a sudden, you find yourself with five fingers or more, then what do you do? - so, if people find out that they're holding those five fingers or more, they really should go to their doctor. the doctor can perform a really simple blood test to confirm a diagnosis. and then if people find out that they do have prediabetes, then they can enroll in one of cdc's

, really glad you shared that. for the very first time, we've never heard that. >> yes, you know what, rahel, looking like it may and chilly marathon for you here. we'll have more on that as the show progresses, but for now winter coats still a requirement. you know, what's interesting, our station parking lot is actually in my line of site as i turn around, and i can tell which cars have been here through the overnight. i know who has been on the overnight, by looking at the cars, because little bit of frost that developed on some of my colleagues windshields. so the ice scrape remember probably a necessity for many of you, if you don't have the benefit after garage. so, it is all clear right now. we have couple every clouds granted. we have had some very minor fog issues in a couple of spots. even few slick spots, sheen on the road it, could be little slick. but storm scan quiet otherwise , those are the only very minor problems we're facing right now, your temperature readings in the 30 's, all around the board here. thirty-six at the airport. 33 degrees even at the shore, and up at mound pocono, actual

lay degree miler than that, but, everybody's got that north or northwesterly winds flow. not strong wind granted but that is where our air mass is coming f so it will keep things on the cool side. little less harsh than yesterday, though. should end up with high of 50. yesterday we couldn't break out of the 40's in the city. this is betterment come the shore point, though, probably don't do that, you'll get to do about 49 degrees in places like atlantic city, with partly sunny sky though overall. then later in the broadcast, we do have to talk about what comes down the road here. specifically, for the upcoming weekend, pretty potent frontal passage. we'll give you the latest on the timing there since again a big marathon coming up this weekends, and we'll get more into the details on that little later on. >> thank you very much. good morning to all of you. happy tuesday. so looking outside right now to this accident, westbound vine, before the schuylkill. that is really starting to slow us down. it is blocking part of the far right lane. the shoulder clearly, too, but really the far right lane we're concerned w because it is forcing all of these

vehicles to put on brakes, and have to move off to the left. no longer traveling at posted speeds in the area, in fact, you will have to add extra time on your commute. i would say probably extra 40 minute or so. quick back up shot for you, see how slow moving it is, driving up toward the accident , and all of the vehicles having to condense and move over to the left. so if you can avoid the area, i would suggest doing so, if you can't, like i said, just add some extra time in there. malfunctioning traffic lights, have been kind of headlines for us, as women. schuylkill eastbound at spring garden, also the off ramp to 30th street, as well. and we've also good morning some more fall fudges traffic lights in the bridesburg neighborhood, bridge street at tacony. >> this isn't slowing you down really at allment vehicles handling this, as well, here, more the schuylkill, the ramp to spring garden than i'm really concerned with also. school bus, motorcycle accident, with injuries here, route 13, chester pike, i put an alternate, mcdade boulevard is your best bet, jim, back over to you. >> thank you shall meisha. updating breaking news we've been following this morning, police are investigating

violent attack at applebee's restaurant in lawrenceville new jersey, police called just before 2:00 a.m. to the restaurant along route one mercer county. an eyewitness told our henry rosoff that his friend is in the hospital after some sort of altercation. we'll continue to follow the story and bring you an update when we get it. >> bucks county authorities are looking for a driver they say opened fire during a road rage incident. this happened about 5:00 last night on the off ramp of 95 to route 413 in bristol township. police say the suspect fired twice on hyundai with a semiautomatic pistol. one shot hit the top of the passenger door. the other hit the car side. no one was hurt. police say the driver who started shooting was driving a 2,003 buick rendesvous, just like the one on the screen. if you have any information please contact police. >> suspect shooting a corporate last week out of the hospital and now in a northampton county prison. authority release this picture of daniel claire. also shot during a fight with troopers.

being held on $1 million bail. authority say clary shot at troopers last week, during a traffic stop, on the side of northampton county highway way kelly shot multiple times and still in the hospital and in stable condition. the second trooper suffered minor arm injury during the struggle. larry is facing attempted murder and related charges. >> well, alabama republican senate candidate roy moore is not backing down despite calls from capitol hill to drop out of the race. the fifth woman is now accusing moore of sexual misconduct when she was a minor. >> mr. moore raised over and began groping me and putting his hands on my breasts. >> beverly nelson young came forward yesterday, she says, moore assaulted her when she was 16, after offering her a ride home from the restaurant where she worked. she says the regular customer even left a note in her high school year book calling her a sweet beautiful girl. >> at some point, at some point, he gave up and he then
