we continue to follow breaking news police and k-9 searching for four prisoners who overpowered a guard at juvenile detention center and escape. frank does live. >> we are wand fairing we can speak to judge brinkly. >> "eyewitness news" goes looking for answers from the judge who sentenced philadelphia rapper meek mill why growing number of people say it is controversial. and out west three ucla basketball players returned home to the u.s. after being arrested for shoplift nothing china the role president trump played in their release. it is wednesday, november 15th good morning i'm jim donovan. i'm rahel solomon. katie and meisha keeping an eye on things this wednesday. >> we are midway through our workweek and our commute this morning has looked darn good. nice dry roadways, so far. we have had a couple accidents but they are minor not really causing too much problem. >> we have quiet weather to go witt, yeah, there is cloud cover out there.

that is it. not much win. still chilly but nothing a typical with the current temperatures and we will get to those. looking at storm scan more localized zoom, we have a couple speckles that show up on the radar here out to sea. we are still awaiting the approach, and full passage of another frontal boundary that will take place later tonight. so for now expect thaw will see more than anything some cloud, overtop of that sunlight here throughout the course of the day. but it looks like a quiet day yesterday again, that said. then we will see some showers moving in later tonight. temperatures you have anything from still just low 40's from ac to wildwood back to dover, and to the mid to upper 30's along i-95 and colder as you go out to the north and western most suburbs in the more remote territory but regardless this looks like a decent day we should get back up to more typical territory on the thermometer, normal high 56, we will hit 53. we are getting there. we will eventually even exceed , what is average, but, take a look, down the road, once more, we end up with a

ups and down on this term ter here. so, with time, it business to get colder by week end, we will talk about that later. >> thanks, katie, that sounds good. we are looking outside, and as i said not too long ago we are looking really nice this morning. i-95 pushing in the southbound direction around the s curve moving in center city this is what you are looking at. everyone traveling at posted speed. one area that would concern me typically schuylkill westbound at city avenue actually looking really good. clearly we can see how many vehicles are out there but things are looking good there. still traveling around posted speed. maybe not as we, you know, go further in the 6:00 o'clock hour but we are looking g beautiful sky there. blue route at ridge pike taillights moving in the southbound direction overall levels are consistent here as well, we are looking good there. we did have an accident in north wales sumanytown pike at beaver street that has been cleared out of the way. the accident that we're still wait to go clear new jersey turnpike southbound past route

73 that is still pulled off to the shoulder. not causing too many problems but just a head up it is still out there jim and rahel, back to you. thanks, meisha. we are updating breaking news authorities in atlantic county of been searching for four inmates who somehow escape from the youth detention center. >> "eyewitness news" reporter frank does live on the scene, where we understand you just got an update. what are you hearing right now >> reporter: rahel and jim we have learn that egg harbor city schools are closed to day as a precaution as police continue to search for these four teenagers who escaped, from that youth detention facility here nearby. police have told new jersey transit to be on the look out for these young men but they do believe that they are still in the area they also have found and alert communities to remain vigilant. take a look at video of this massive search overnight. this happened, sometime after midnight, four male teens escape from the harbor field youth detention center after assaulting and over powering a corrections officer. they stole a set of keys from

that corrections officer and atlantic county sheriff's office confirmed they stole a car and crashed it in the home in the 900 block ofberger street and then ran off in the neighborhood. now again the massive search is underway in this area of egg harbor city with k-9's and new jersey state police helicopter helping in the search. the sheriff described these teens as one, a black male about 190-pounds wearing white boxers, cream colored shirt and flip-flops. number two black male 5-foot seven, 150-pounds wearing cream thermal pants white boxers thermal shirt and white t-shirt. the third suspect is a white male, 6-foot two, 175-pounds wearing cream thermal pants white boxers thermal shirt and white t-shirt as well as socks the fourth suspect is a described of 5-foot nine, 150, wearing check is, black polo with letters a-y-c on it as well as black sneakers and pink socks. police say they do not believe that these four teenagers are armed but they do consider them dangerous.

this morning after an argument with her next door neighbor end in gunfire this happened last night in the 1500 block of rosa lee street in oxford circle. 291 year-old woman, hoist nine months pregnant was shot once in her right leg and bullet traveled through to her left leg. we are told the neighbor was arrested. meek mill's lawyers files 157 page motion to get a fail judge off the rapper's case. that is after she sent him to prison last week. meek mill facing two to four years for violating his probation from a 2009 drug and gun charge. we are told fbi is investigating judge jeanice brinkly, meek mill's lawyer told us brinkly told us the rapper needed to sing a boys two men song and he needed to include her name in it. she personally monitored the star's community service. rapper's attorney says there is in reason his client should be in prison. >> we believe that this is such a wrong, that the only way it can be righted is to bring him home. >> our camera spotted buses

with the word stand with meek mill in center city last night meek mill's close friend and sixers co-owner michael rubin is paying for billboard supporting the rapper. we reached out to judge brink ly for comment but have not heard back. we should mention judges do not typically comment or do interviews. police in northern california are crediting the quick action of elementary school officials for saving lives. they lock down the school when it came under attack by a lone gunman. witnesses say suspect four three-year old kevin need walked in the school ready to kill. shooting spree began yesterday morning and then tehama county where he targeted and killed a neighbor in an ongoing dispute >> i think with the motive of getting when his neighbors. when it went that far, he just went on a rampage. >> five people included the gun man were killed and 10 others were wounded. two of the injured are students. three ucla basketball players accused of shoplift nothing china are back home in last angeles this morning.

back on "eyewitness news" with brush fires and desert hot springs, california. >> flames grew out of control knocking out power for dozens of their by homes, fire fighters rush to bolt blaze yesterday, authorities say high winds spread flames making that fire fight that much more difficult. officials say that the fire started because of what they described as a vehicle malfunction. houston police are searching for two men that stole from a car dealership during hurricane harvey. this is surveillance video of the crime taking back in august from the storm. thieves used a power saw to cut open a safe before taking off with the cash. police could not get there because of the flooded streets there is a $500,000 reward up for grabs. surveillance videos shows a woman helping herself to free food at a mcdonald's drive through this happened at howard county maryland, just outside baltimore. woman eventually climbs through window there for that drink, she then is seen passing box of food to someone outside, police say thirsty woman also took some money.

harsh, either rahel so that doesn't help matters. when you see a thermometer you can trust it, don't count on the wind to be factored in but you said it, beautiful start the two day. beautiful looking start. just chilly. we are at 28 degrees at kutztown area middle school here but we will see some sunshine as well as a few cloud. today we are looking quiet all and all despite a frontal boundary making its arrival here with time. so storm scan is still quiet, it will stay that way throughout majority of the day and it is later tonight, that things start to get downhill, with that front making its arrival in the overnight hours and then bringing witt some rain showers. we do think it is strictly rain showers. temperature will be warm enough every where, you don't to have worry about icing. thirty-seven at the airport. we are at 26 by comparison in mount pocono. chilly start in the outlining suburbs. only at 40 this hour in atlantic city. it is cold but in the 40's there sitting pretty for the most part in terms of the where we stand regional wide.

both shore and city hit 53. normal high in philadelphia on this day is 56. we are definitely getting closer to where we should be but you just can't expect it will last very long because with time cold air will catch up to us and we will go on yet another roller coaster ride, i'll let you know later in the show, meisha. >> katie, thanks very much. good news we have nice dry roadways but that isn't stopping us from having one accident after another, now. first accident here schuylkill eastbound at gladwynn that left lane or that left far left shoulder, rather, far right shoulder is compromised. everyone traveling in the right lane is pushing over to the left, head up, really causing slow downs now. another accident schuylkill eastbound at belmont avenue right lane compromised, also the westbound side at belmont is there an accident there as well, that side is pulled off to the shoulder, hard to see because of the branches in the roadway here but you can see how slow it is, eastbound at belmont and westbound at belmont as well.

then another accident here in new jersey i-76 westbound at market street this one is pulled off to the shoulder, and you are traveling by here, okay but you are dropping less than posted speed there. then we have another accident there in upper providence township second avenue at old state road this is an area not so much causing slow downs but head up and on the northeast extension vehicle smoking here southbound pennsylvania lansdale thinks also pulled off to the shoulder, jim and rahel back to you. breaking news right now all schools in the egg harbor city school district are closed as a major manhunt continues for four juveniles who escaped from the youth detention center. >> lets get tout "eyewitness news" reporter frank do i who has been providing updates all morning long. good morning, is what the latest now. >> reporter: good morning, rahel and jim. the search continues for these four teens whether or not believed to be armed but still considered dangerous. police have notified new jersey transit to keep an eye out on them and notified surrounding communities to remain vigilant but take a look at the massive search for

these teens overnight, this happened, sometime after midnight, when four male teens escaped from harbor field youth detention center in egg harbor city after assaulting an over powering a corrections officer. they stole a set of keys and then went on to steel a car and crashed it in the home in the 900 block ofberger street and then ran off. they are described as an 18 year-old, two, 16 year-old and 117 year-old. one wearing white boxers and light shirt, two are wearing cream colored thermals and one wearing a black polo with the letters ayc as well as check i pants. massive search is underway in egg harbor city with k-9's and new jersey state police helicopter helping in the search, now atlantic county sheriff said they were last spotted on st. louis avenue and with the daylight now they plan to expand the search. >> we have between 30 to 50 officers and expecting another 20 to 30 coming n we have

state police, helicopter that was out, and for hours, so once daylight hits. >> police are very concerned, because these teens are not dressed for this weather. they might try to break in the home to get close and warm, so again they are urging the community to remain vigilant keep their doors locked and not go outside if they don't to have. call 911 with suspicious activity. again, egg harbor city schools are closed to day as police continue this massive search for these four teenage escapee s. meanwhile that corrections officer who was assaulted is expect to be okay, but for now we are live from egg harbor city, trang do, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". new back to you. well to day a teenager accused in the double murder in south philadelphia will be in court for preliminary hearing. sixteen year-old brandon oliveri is charge in the deadly shooting of the 16 year-old sal dinubile and contact legal miller.

gunfire erupted last month after an argument on the 12th and ritner. oliveri is currently being held with the bail. two brothers accused in the shooting death of girard grand sole face a hearing this morning. marvin roberts who turns 17 today and 20 year-old brother maurice roberts killed the man as he tried to protect his two-year old daughter during an attempted carjacking in spring garden in september. the two young men are expected to be tried as adults. senate candidate roy more more says he is not stepping aside despite growing list of the top republicans withdrawing their support. "fox news" host sean hannity issued an ultimatum saying moore need to either prove his innocence or exit the senate race. moore has continuing to denied claims of inappropriate behavior with teenage girls. busiest shopping season of the year is just around the corner and another major retailer is targeted in the credit card breach. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao is live outside forever 21 store in center city with more on what this could mean for millions of

shoppers, good morning, jan. >> reporter: good morning, that is right, this is a massive breach that could possibly impact millions of customers. now forever 21 released a statement yesterday saying that they are doing a full investigation, at this point, it is unclear just how many locations are impact and what those locations are, but they do say that this breach appears to have impact people that went into physical locations of forever 21 and they made purchases between march and october of this year >> as the holiday shopping season gets underway earlier and earlier, this is the worst sort of news for people making purchases. >> i don't make thousands and thousands of dollars a month so if i get hats by people it is not because i'm not making that money i can pick up a shift and work all that money so it is scary. >> reporter: charlotte clark has to worry about if her credit card fur has been compromised after shopping at forever 21. the store, one of the largest in the country says someone may have stolen credit card

information from customers who shop at forever 21 earlier this year. phil lieberman a cyber security expert says this is potentially a problem. >> just makes. >> it makes consumers crazy. >> lieberman says, chances are , you are okay if you have a chip because that makes it more difficult for hack tours get information and plus if you swipe your card you could be at risk. how did this happen? it turns out, it is easy. >> all somebody has to does down load a piece of e-mail with a bad piece of software in it and hackers can gain control over the whole place. >> lieberman says best thing you can do now is frequently check your bank statements for unauthorized bank charges and call your bank immediately to report any suspicious activity and, experts say you have to continue to check those bank statements, not just for one month or two months but it could take up to six months for suspicious activity to pop up. again, thinks forever 21 customers who went into stores
