bridgeton area, same town, where he has been charged with murder. >> he should be in a jail. >> reporter: barely a year since shirley battle buried her 21 year-old grandson davonte lee, her sense have peace was shattered when davonte's killer michael huggins escape from the juvenile detention facility. >> i found out, that he had escaped and they have not found him just yet, it was devastating news, because we all thought he was somewhere, where, he could not get out. >> reporter: jail break happened shortly after midnight at harborfields detention center in egg harbor city. eighteen year-old huggins and three other teens attack i guard and then stole a car, and went on what turned out to be a short joy ride. >> totally undrivable. >> reporter: less than a mile, the escapees crashed in joseph luna's jeep and apartment building, he caught it all on surveillance. >> the kid jumping out of the vehicle, and let it roll and slam in the building after it

hit my jeep and they just, knew they didn't have any control of the vehicle anymore so they bailed and ran. >> reporter: ensuing manhunt lasted all morning with schools closed throughout egg harbor city and neighboring towns. then around 9:00 a.m. more than 50 miles from where the et cetera scape took place police were able to catch three teens in the apartment complex on pam sevenhylia avenue. dozens of officers searched the area around the avenue, three nearby bridgeton schools were placed on lock down. >> walk out, and he told me i could not come in. it was on lock down. he told me that the prisoner had escaped. >> reporter: connie mcneil could not pick up her grand kid early and like shirley battle was anxious with the manhunt to went hug minutes custody. >> they should not have him in a detention center they should have had him in the place where he could not escape. >> reporter: police won't tell us how they believe that huggins and other three teens made from it egg harbor sit all the way to bridgeton but

they say, higgins is dangerous and they are staffed, to continue this manhunt 24/7. live from bridgeton cleve bryan, cbs-3 "eyewitness news" police arrested aid woman accused of shooting her pregnant neighbor in the oxford circle section of the northeast philadelphia oknees cox shot her 21 year-old neighbor after an argument yesterday evening. the victim was nine months pregnant was hit in the right leg and taken to the hospital. she was last check in stable condition. cox is facing a number of charges including aggravated assault. authorities in northern california say that the wife of the gunmen who went on a deadly rampage has been found dead. investigators found body of the kevin neil's wife hidden underneath the floor in their home last night. they believe that killing, was the start of the rampage, yesterday morning. authorities say that neil shot and killed four other people, and injured 10. investigators say he targeted several locations, including an elementary school. school officials heard gunshots, and went on lock

for next several hours things are quiet, there may be a few showers that pop up ahead of the main line of showers and that is around 11:00 tonight but really two or 3:00 a.m. this area of showers crosses the region. what you want to look at it actual cold front associated with this system back here over portions of illinois and into wisconsin. the cold air, it is on a delay , cold air over portions of minnesota into iowa, those showers come through, keep it, relatively mild as we head through tomorrow and then tomorrow evening into friday that the temperatures begin to drop. right now, 50 in philadelphia, 48 degrees in allentown. fifty in millville. thirty-seven in mount pocono. we will zoom back to the west, the line of showers i just showed you over portions of ohio, and cold air back to the west, minneapolis, des moines cold, chicago, st. louis not too bad. it will take 12 hours or so behind the shower push that the cold air begins to pick up the pace. today's high reached 53, closer to the normal which has
