and overpowered a corrections officer at harborfields youth detention center just after midnight yesterday. teen said then stole car, sideswiped joseph luna's jeep before coming to the stop in egg harbor city kicking off the search. >> somebody had ran from the car for a reason. i didn't know the extent of that reason but it is scary when i found out. >> reporter: nine hours later and 40 miles away in bridgeton , an observe ant person reporting suspicious activity at the heights apartment led to the capture of the three other escapees but no sign of huggins. >> ridiculous, really ridiculous these young kid these days, they just need to go to school, get their education instead of doing all this violent stuff. >> reporter: with huggins still at large a community is on edge but no one more than shirley battle, the grandmother of the davonte lee the 21 year-old man huggins is accused of fatally shooting little american a year ago.

back on "eyewitness news" with this massive warehouse fire in st. louis, missouri, close to a hundred fire fighters rush yesterday morning, the the building stored, 150,000 candles and that plastics sparked these flames, hard to believe, two fire fighters and warehouse employee were treated for minor injuries. all started with candles. baltimore police are offering $62,000 reward for name of the suspect who shot a detective in the head. detective was investigating a murder yesterday afternoon. officials say he approached a man who he thought was suspicious when that man opened fire. fellow detective rushed the injured officer to the hospital where he underwent surgery. a detective is in critical
