>> we send it out to katie for a check on the forecast, remember earlier this week, had mild little day or two, what happened to that? >> i feel like reality tried to catch up to us, then it ended up like over exceeding, yes, over achieving. yes, actually still going to go on this path of ups and downs on the thermometer, the next couple every days, with another system already working in, now the winds is still noticable here on the cbs-3 skydeck and everywhere else, just enough that it does add that little extra chill in the air. it is not terribly persistent, but it is still out there. so, the good news, even though this is pretty brisk day, at least breitbart and sunny throughout, and storm scan showing nice clear sky as well so there it is. and with any clouds really starting to clear out very, very nicely overhead, you can expect to see, again, pretty rough sun glare traveling east with time here too. thirty-nine the current value at the airport, chilly 30's, rather your feels-like value, that's important to note, any time the wind blows, it feels more like the 30's, but technically actually in the 40 's, in many locations, more

actually looking real nice. blue route kinds of the same story here. tail light moving in the southbound direction, past ridge pike t looks like we've got flashing lights pulled off to the right. see the drivers driving on by, putting on the brakes, probably won't slow you down too much. pull this to your attention, also talking about the accident investigation, route 130 northbound at route 38 and route 70, so all lanes were closed now we were seeing some crews out here on parked vehicles. now it looks like they've now moved, hopefully opening this up. your alternate around this area, cuthbert boulevard, but again, looks like hopefully starting to clean that up little bit for you. and we've also been talking about the senior living community fire in west chester , so north franklin street is closed between goshen road and ash bridge street. you have to use alternate. pottstown pike or high street is your best bet around there. and septa, weaver some construction west trenton line , so shuttle bussing, this weekend, between west trenton, yardley, wood born, so just make sure to check the schedules on line. and some construction in new jersey, as well.

676 north past 76, one to two lanes are block there. rahel, back over to you. >> all right, meisha, just following up on what meisha said, let's get back to the breaking news from over night. chopper three over multi alarm fire at senior living facility in chester county. >> firefighters and staffers quickly pulled many residents to safety, 20 people were taken to area hospitals, and many others are in shelters on this cold morning. "eyewitness news" reporter trang do is live near the scene in west chester. trang? >> well, jim, a hell, fortunately the fire is under control. after an intense fire fight under frigid and windy conditions, four firefighters, well, we step out of the way, because i want to show you just what's left behind here on the scene. you can see, just how vulnerable these residents are by what they left behind here. you can see, a wheelchair, number every walkers, as well as oxygen tank. but, take a look at this incredible video of the massive flames coming from the building overnight. this fire started just before 11:00 p.m. at the barclay

friends senior living community on the 700 block of north franklin street in west chester, the fire roast from two to five alarms in just couple of hours. we're told at least 125 people were saved from the fire. dozen of concerned family members rushed to the scene, comfort willing g their relatives wrapped up in blankets as they waited for busses to transport them to different locations in west chester. some are taking shelter at west chester university gym, we're told, now, again, we spoke to one woman whose mother lives in the community and she praised the community effort. >> it was really burning, ar she lives a couple miles, and you could see the smoke, the flames, and obviously a lot of activity, so a lot of roads were block off. but people were very good at trying to help and take care of the people you wanted to take care of. >> now, we want to show you a aerial map, just so you can get a sense what firefighters were dealing with. now, this is very large

thing for me. all right, let's take a look at the live neighborhood network, we get things underway here, live look, looking at the camera outside whitt fields elementary camera , it showed a little bit of movement. in other words, some camera shaking courtesy of the win, but the winds not too terrible yes, little more noticeable throughout the day. but, it is nothing that is going to be damaging, and certainly nothing like what we will finds with the next system. so let's take a look at the eyewitness weather watchers, all for the most part off to pretty consistent start, flirting with or just above the 40 degrees line in many spots, we will check in with fran in one of the colder spots at 39 degrees. generally has nice clear sky in hot ingham. his wind flow is only at 12 miles per hour sustained, but did have gust up to 14 miles per hour, so that's just one example where you do still have a breeze, sky is clear. all-in-all i call this pretty decent day. past the neighborhood met work zone, broad zoom, yesterday, long gone, where the winds is coming from, however. but this guy, this batch of moisture, means pretty much at

goshen road and ashbridge street, pottstown pike and high street is your best bet. jim, over to you. >> this weekend the national dog show returns to our area. in addition to the competition , spectators will get to see some amazing agility dogs in action. >> yes, this is not your average game of fetch. these dogs have some serious tails. jan carabeo live in observation this morning with a preview. good morning, jan. >> reporter: rahel, jim, good morning. the national dog show this year has more than 2100 dogs. that's more entrants than in the past ten years, 190 breeds , there is so much to see and do, to talk little bit more about that, is lourdes, trainer here at the dog show, so, lourdes, tell us who is your friends trotting around behind us? >> echo, a boards err collie, demonstrating little bit more about this breed. this breed is very agile. we will go through agility course, demonstrate how well he does on. that will here we go. you ready? >> wee. yes.

good. left. right. tunnel. watching. right, left. good boy. >> that's echo, that takes about 102nd. such a smart dog that we have here. what else can pea see? they can see performances like this, whole bunch of other stuff, too. >> yes, we'll have a dog act all weekends long, so you can see dogs throughout the day. we also here at the main arena just national dog show, presented by purina, hosted by the philadelphia, so it is exciting because that's actually caring thanksgiving day, they'll be filming. so we'll have the best of the best coming up in the top dogs , have the go dogs, action packed dogs, also have dogs that are going to be part of the obviously the beautiful dogs of confirmation ring. >> yes, and there is so much to see here to get it dollars perhaps if you want a dog, thinking about getting a dog. this is only one of three competitions nationwide.

what's that called? what's that mean? >> the bench show the opportunity to actually the dogs will be displayed, the breeds will be displayed, over 180 breeds here. so they'll be displayed so people can actually meet the breeders. talk to them, and the handlers , for the holidays, thinking every getting a dog or even later on, and i you can talk to the breeder and maybe actually casino every like one stop shop. you know when you get updated, talk to the experts, the trainers, the handlers, breeders, it will be a great show. >> a lot of people already here. the show start tomorrow. it runs through sunday, as well, you can hear a little bit of barking in distance, a lot of excitement. what's your personal favorite part of the show? >> little bit of everything. it is the opportunity to talk to the breeders and because you do get an insight that would you get no other place, get like the hands-on, get to meet the dogs, the temperament that's excite to go me, as well as actually seeing some of the top dogs compete here, beautiful animals, they come out here, and see the excitement. there is a lot of excitement in the air from the dogs, from
