>> all right, turning now to other news this noon, investigators are back on the campus every senior living facility in west chester, by the destroyed by the five alarm fire, view shows scope of the damage barclay friends, "eyewitness news" reporter alicia joins us live at the very active scene, with the latest information, alicia, good afternoon, what can you tell us? >> rahel, at least two dozen a tf agents and investigators out this morning, and also some heavy equipment here for the first time we saw this morning, that equipment being used to help investigators sift through the debris after this massive fire, a lot of debris there, now, first time since this fire that investigators are able to fully get into the burned out senior living facility. after a massive fire at the barclay friends senior living facility, today investigators are are rummaging through what's left, thursday's fire, led to heroic effort by 400 emergency responders. and so many people in this community, all of them trying to rescue roughly two dozen

employees, that were in the burning facility, and more than 100 disable and elderly people who live there. but, despite that heroic effort, 27 people were hospitalized, about dozen or are still in the hospital. more concerning, though, authorities confirm, four days after the fire, some who were inside the burning buildings, are still missing. agent with the bureau of alcohol, tobacco, firearms annex and explosives hoping to find out the cause of this fire, and hopefully account for the missing. but, both may take a while, because hot spots burned for two days in the buildings, and today was the first day that agents were able to get full access to this site. >> now, there is a news conference scheduled for 3:00 this afternoon, and we are told authorities expect to release exactly how many people are missing after this fire on thursday. they also are hoping to have the origin of the fire, where it exactly started inside this facility. for now reporting live in west chester, alicia, cbs-3, " eyewitness news." >> thank you, alicia meanwhile

in other news this noon, grief counselors at shawmont elementary school in roxborough to help student and staff cope with the test after third grade teacher. sixty-two year old sheila taylor hawkins died in a house fire on sunday morning. neighbors on the 600 block of ren street helped to rescue two other resident, the fire is not considered to be suspicious, tara hawkins had been teacher at the shawmont school from more than a decade fire burns dangerously close to neighboring gas station in east st. louis. the flames had already spread to a home next-door. paralyzed in front of the buildings g also caught fire, the warehouse is vacant but no injuries have been reported. those are incredible flames there. infamous cult leader charles manson died of natural causes in a california hospital. the 83 year old orchestrated the murders of nine people in 1969 including actress sharon tate. manson was interviewed in prison in 1986 where he said he had no regrets about the killings. >> the worlds that i live, in i've never made it bad move in

out there, not the harsh of yesterday. i really felt for you. my goodness, really was harsh, thankfully, that part of is done, and we're still finding gusts easily into the 20's, that's really adding a chill to the air. but at least it is quiet, at least we have sunshine, definately the story for the rest of the day, so how long does it last? when does the winds ease up, when does rain return? good news, all-in-all, as far as holiday week forecasts go, this is looking pretty good. let's start it off by taking you out to view outside jack frost and big boulder, yes, that's man-made ♪ out there. they are open for the season, it is definately cold enough, feels like it should be out there on the slopes, right? and you have breitbart blue skies and sunshine to enjoy for the rest of the day, meanwhile we expect very quiet weather. i don't think we have any nature made snow flack, but at least wet weather, moving forward. let's look at storm scan. it is quiet as can be across the tri-state sweep here. mid of area of high pressure,

helping look us up with pleasant weather, enough winds to even kick in the lake enhancement, so clouds, poconos earlier on today, even saw couple of flakes flying up that way, as well. but, it is mainly just sunshine from here through the entire day tomorrow. now, here's the thing. this is one of those will it or won't it kind of scenarios. frontal boundery, will cross through regardless, but take a look down in the deep south. there is the area of low pressure, still looking good in terms of our scenario. but if you try to join up with the front would you have heck of a system on your hands. at this point, it does not appear that's going to happen. we probably see an overnight shower tomorrow night into early wednesday. specially true for southeast new jersey. and then that's it. wipe your hand clean, end one more sunshine for the rest of wednesday, that's of course the big travel day, let alone thursday. so definitely looking good in that regard. mother nature actually hooking us up for a change, and it looks very nice, just chilly, which you'll see in the seven day, for now outside we go to the live neighborhood network. barely cloud other than that

little, still cloud cover here out in the early afternoon, this is cut town area middle school, 40 degrees, not terrible, with these winds flow here, but any time that winds is even slightly blowing it, really adds to the chill. so these are your current windchills chill values, i would highly suggest air temperature, and in short you could just knock maybe five to 10 degrees off for feels like values, but feels like more like the 30's at this hour, than it does pretty much, you know, even the rest of the day and anywhere else, 45 the current temperature at philadelphia international airport. yes, it is that west northwest wind flow that will get you, 46 is the temperature in atlantic city r but westerly wind flow sustained at 20 miles per hour. and that feels really chilly. so again, factor it in. meanwhile later tonight, the win really eases up dropping down to 37 degrees, but at least it feels like 37 degrees and then, looking forward in the eyewitness weather seven day, i expect that the daytime high to spike nicely here tomorrow. 10 degrees jump not bad that p

m shower again that's timing for the overnight. so doesn't worry about the daylight hours, so nice to get outside tomorrow. we clear it all, all be it chilly side for turkey day and "black friday," all-in-all this does work pretty nice. >> and turning tragedy into a way to help others. >> meisha here on that and in today's lincoln financial field it. >> a kansas city firefighter for more than decade until accident nearly 30 years ago, forced him out after job. but, he was determined to still make a difference, take a look. >> while on the job, as a kansas city firefighter, robert was a witness to become some of the worse event imaginable. >> i think stuff, but what i picture is you just go through it, either get up and keep going or you don't. >> he was -- experiences like those gave him the per speculative he has today. seep, he was involved in a accident that left him completely blind.

>> fighting the fire. go into a house, and just totally blacked out. that's how i feel like i went into a house fire, just didn't come back out of it yet. >> no wonder there are people who don't believe him when he says he created these woodworking project alone, still, he pick up still skill he pick up after losing his vision. that makes everything from custom cabinets, to arm ours ... >> just like that, you can put your cigars in there. >> this will be donated for the guns and hoses auction, where he's hoping it will go for at least $250. and all of the mondayly go to the funds, fund that gives families of fallen first responders, $25,000, immediately after a tragic event. >> and he says he'll never forget the from his brothers on the department after his accident, and he says, an opportunity to help them in

return. >> so think about that. yes, and you think about that, too, he didn't even know he had that skill set until after he went blind. >> yes. >> he went blind, then he realized that he had that craft with him. now he donates everything back to his brotherhood. >> wow. >> pretty incredible, that after robert lost, like i said , he took up this craft, became really good at it, and donate all of the proceeds to help his brothers and sisters in uniform in their time of trouble. talk about turning something tragic into something wonderful. good job, rob. love him. thank you, meisha, as always, we appreciate it. >> next living in the lap of luxury. >> couple of turkeys, yes, i said turkeys, are staying in a posh washington dc
