people have a place in all of it. anyway, i'm going on a soap box. i will step off now a lieutenant of you traveling to get to this thanksgiving dinner. lets look at is what going on the radar right now. right now it is not ideal across parts of the shore points here and then moving along i-95 new castle county we are getting hit with rain as well. i think this will strike philadelphia over span of the next hour or so and then we're done witt. just that the on set that looking at this current picture on the radar, things will look menacing. we will not have to deal with this all day licensing, however, but look at the difference, cold air has not caught up here, in philadelphia 52. feels balmy on the sky deck, it feels mid 50's at ac airport and wildwood currently just don't expect you will rebound that much. you will stay steady at the shore for example and here in philadelphia we will tack on an additional 3 degrees w time any showers will clear out and then that will happen sooner rather than later. you are left with some sun, brief, pick up and eventually

a chill that will settle in later tonight. >> katie, thanks very much. good morning, everybody. how are you. we are looking outside at 95 south around the airport we know that if you are traveling by flight today you will be have to get to the airport early. we have been talking about jan and trang do but jan has been at the airport bringing us the play by play and it is already getting busy there, i will be out there with you battling those cars at the airport as well, get there early. check your schedules than line around the airport you can see everybody is traveling good but i will say typically when we see this shot at 5:30 in the morning it is in the like this. this is more movement then what we see on i-95 around the airport. give yourself some extra time there on the ground as well. we did have a traffic stop, blue route before the schuylkill and then that has been cleared. volume levels around here are looking good. forty-two freeway north bound starting to build up levels here, this off ramp, to creek road, just a head up we are getting slow because 42 south

at 295 the off ramp closed, left lane also blocked. rahel, back to you. planes, trains, automobiles, it will be a busy travel day as millions prior to head home for the holiday. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao is live this morning with the travel outlook there, good morning again, jan. >> reporter: rahel and jim, good morning. philadelphia international airport is already very busy today, we arrived here at 4:15 in the morning and at times that security checkpoint line snakes down hallways here between terminals d and e but good news it is moving pretty smoothly, pretty quickly and all flights do seem to be on time. we are talking holiday travel so we have to talk to triple a mid-atlantic dana tidwell. thanks for being on the show. apparently a whole lot of people will hit roads, rails, airways because more people traveling since 2005. >> triple a projecting highest thanksgiving weekend travel volume since 2005. that translates to more people at the airport and more people on the roadways.

>> what is driving that trend do you think. >> we are seeing a strong economy, and strong labor market, that just lead to increase in consumer confidence and people feel good about spending their money on holiday travel. those here at the airport have an added benefit that triple a , saw a decrease in airfares for those who booked for this holiday weekend of 23 percent. so that is also good news for travelers who are coming to the airport. >> reporter: biggest gains in travel this holiday week, between wednesday and sunday is here at the airport. >> yeah we're seeing over 5 percent increase in air travelers this year over last year, so 53,000 philadelphia area residents will travel by air this year. >> reporter: a lot of people, jane tidwell, thanks very much we were able to catch up with one of those people taking an early morning flight, well, she came from new jersey to ph l flying down to atlanta, lets take a listen. >> i decided to fly this just because of the time, it is quick, it takes me a while to drive from here, to atlanta as

you can imagine. it is not a bad drive but it is just long, it is an hour and 25 minutes to fly. >> reporter: this year she said it cost her a little bit more to fly so why not take convenient way and fly. a little bit of advice before we toss it back to jim and rahel. lines are long. what you should do before you come to the airport when you should have already check in on line, 24 hours in advance, that is a recommendation, print your boarding pass on line or just down load an app and that will have your boarding pass on your phone. if you are tsa approved you can skip through the line, great advice as well and most important advice is get here two hours early because, screening is going to be tight you might be asked to do some things you have not done before, take out you're electric tronics that are bigger then a cell phone. you might to have take out thanksgiving food transport ago this as well. keep that in mind as you come to the airport today, jim and rahel, back to you.

forbes has released its list of the highest paid models and ken dell jenner tops the list. 22-year old super model raked in 22 million-dollar in the last year, not bad. she beat gisele bundchen who held top spot since 2002. she came in second bringing in 17.5 million and christie teigen rounded out top three, making 13.5 million-dollar. that is not only thing christie teigen is celebrating this morning. the model is expecting baby number two with her husband john legend. they made big announcement on social media yesterday. couple is parents to one year-old daughter luna and recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. congratulations to them. i just love them. disney pixar's latest movie cocoa, it day booed in

finding wet weather right now and places like south and eastern new jersey. so mark sent this in over last half an hour but still rings true. he has rain and 50 degrees. balmy start, just wet. you also have wet weather being reported in from fran, in chester county in nottingham, within the last 10 to 12 minutes he did have some rain to report on his weather station at home. forty-nine is temperature there. here's the key, swimming gears , it is not every where. fran again is back out here in chester county. mark in burlington county. we do have have that rain lift nothing here and coming down steadily in spots, too. so new castle county, parts of the kent county really getting involved by that rain. it will not last all morning let alone all day but you need transition to take place and that is still going on. there is low pressure that is primarily bypassing us but combed front trying to cross through, two pieces do not connect until later on until it is all gone but that is

where this is coming from. skies will clear out thankfully no later then, late morning, for most of you and further north and west you go you are immune to all this breezy day, eventually that sky will clear out, high hits 55. pretty seasonal but we are off to levels that are very close to this. not much movement on the thermometer. clear, quiet, cold night coming up, expect to wake up to a hard freeze on thanksgiving morning but sun will shine but thursday and black friday and temperatures will rebound toward more seasonal levels for your shopping plans and warmer on saturday, not totally redty rule out a shower on saturday but we will be optimistic for now. >> i think that is good. katie, thanks very much. we are looking outside right now and everything looks okay. we have an accident here schuylkill west before south street at university avenue pulled off, block ago this left lane. tapping on your brakes and push over the two right lane and you will factor in extra time here. head up. you can see how many headlights are out there letting you know it is busy.

we have been saying that all morning. we will continue to say it. ninety-five south approaching cottman same story here just a sea have headlights as far as eye can see there 422 at route 29 kind of hard to see, it always looks like a hazy glaze , sea of headlights here as well. 422 no delays, still traveling around at posted speed but we can expect to slow down in a bit. construction 42 southbound at 295 off ramp to close left lane is block. also a head up we have a thanksgiving day parade, so eakins oval closes 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. today and 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. thursday. all of those road are on this today. on thursday until 2:00 p.m. vehicles, will be start to be towed, at 4:00 a.m. just a head up. i will tweet this information out as well. jim, back over to you. uber's admitting a year-old hack attack by hackers, who stole personal information of 57 million of its customers and drivers. uber says the hackers were

paid $100,000 to destroy the stolen information. uber's current ceo criticized cot's handling of the data theft and says there is no evidence that the information was misused. former uber ceo travis kalanick resigned in june after he was accused of building a corporate culture that allowed sexual harassment well, uber hack is just latest data breach we are learning about. millions of other americans have had their information compromised in similar attacks , among them is this summer's equifax hack. cyber security experts say is there a big concern about attacks like that. your information may end up on part of the internet called the dark webb, that is an untraceable part of the internet that attracts criminals. >> it is filled with tons of information about available out in the wild for people to access, buy and sell. >> what can they do with it. >> anything they want. they can control the world in a sense. that is part that scares me so much. >> reporter: cyber security experts recommend using cash instead of the debit card to protect yourself and if you
