earlier he was a little, you know, deflated but as we go all the way down here you can see a number of balloons right behind him including my nephew 's personal favorite, daniel the tiger. you can see back of his head there. lets look at this map of the parade route here heading down here later to day it starts at 20th and jfk and travels east, to 16th street where it will then turn left on to the parkway and of course, continue up the parkway and eventually ending in front of the art museum. take a look at video from last year's festivities this years parade will feature 140 musical acts, dance troops, marching bands and choirs, many local but quite a few from all across the country, and of course, main attraction the 22 balloons featuring lots of beloved children's characters like clifford the big red dog, daniel tiger, strawberry short cake and very hungry caterpillar. about a dozen or so workers have been up all night getting these balloons ready and they have a lot of work ahead of
