city. it is going to be an enjoyable week of warmer temperatures. today is monday, november 27th. good morning, i am gentlemen is off. i'm joe holden. >> i'm rahel solomon. katie is off. chelsey is here. mild monday. after the eagles win, magnificant monday today. >> i know. hearing you guys talk, real exciting, real exciting time to be in philadelphia, and today's going to be real nice day in philadelphia. by tomorrow, wednesday, yes, going to be warming up very, very nicely. let me take you right now to some current temperatures across the region. starting out your morning, right around 42 degrees, in the city, we've got 39 in wilmington. it is 40 in dover. we're in the upper 30s atlantic city and mid 40's in wildwood. but it does feel little bit chillier out there. we do have windchill factor. feels more like mid 30's in philadelphia. don't be surprised when you step outside. we're in the 20's, what it feels like, at least, in allentown, foles moore like 22 s throughout the day today, we will see the number rising nicely. 50 degrees by noontime. we led into the 3:00 hour, you can look for 53.

and nice warm up headed our way, moving into wednesday, talking about temperatures rising into the lower 60s. i'll have more coming up in a bit including next chance for rain. sending it over to you. >> chelsey, thank you. >> turning to traffic. take a look, this is live look at the commodore barry bridge. it is clear this morning. no other issues on the other area bridges. we have an accident to tell but. i59 northbound before route 320. box truck went down an embankment in the right lane currently block. no word on injuries. also, this is i95 near the the cottman avenue interchange , no delays or incidents to report in this area. >> well, eagles fans are waking to up ten and one hometown team. >> the birds count off the holiday weekends by crushing the bears for the ninth straight victory. and this morning, the wentz wagon is rolling along. let's take a look at the game. first quarter carson wentz by zach earth for 17-yard touchdown, now, ertz is the

first birds with 100-yard receiving game this season. the offense really got going in the second. quick toss to nelson agholor, goes for 15 yards. check it out, leaping into the end zone. big touchdown. birds up 14-nothing. still late in the second, wentz to alshon jeffrey. oh, big catch. that 8-yard td against his former team put them up 24- zero at half time. have a look at the strike. bowling on the field, the birds bowl down the bears. that score, 31-three. >> just kind of come in, ready to work, ready to work it, doesn't matter who the opponent is, what their record ; never really matters, just lick we're go to win each day, get better each day, come out, enjoy it game day, playing with a lot of momentum , a loft energy, a lot of swagger out there, defense playing unbelievable. we feed on that, they feed on us, so a lot of fun right now. >> they certainly seem to be having a lot of fun out there. and the mood for sure, check

out the electric slide making appearance late in the game. they new they had this one in the bag, and those guys certainly have a lot to celebrate. >> not only do they win on the field, they choreograph chants >> my lord, how about it? eagles fans are excited to see what's next for the birds after yesterday's impressive win. >> the players got creative. celebrating on the field, we caught one some folks during off the field. at chickie's and pete's' in south philly last night. fans were flying high after a big win over the bears at the linc. some fans told us there was something different about this team. >> i decide going out there, having a lot of fun at the unit. they played great defensively. but we got one of the most special teams we've ever seen in football history right now. i believe. >> now, although they are tak ing it one game at a victory at a time, eagles fans say they cannot wait to see what the future holds. >> rahel, just a lot of fun. and check out the back page of the daily news, there is a lot

of buzz about the birds, and of course, a whole lot of talk about this superbowl. with the defense like this, most would agree, it is definitely possible. >> and there is not an eagles fan in this town who doesn't think this team could be going all the way. >> here, here. angelo cataldi from sister station 94wip explains why the birds are exceeding everyone's expectations. >> what happened yesterday was kind of what a great team to us, they just take opponent that's, blows them out. i guess little complacency in the second half. no come place complacency, eagles have a chance to win it all, and it is very rare you get to say that. >> looks so good doing t do you think carson wentz is having fun? check out this tweet from the quarterback last night. he writes: ten and with a with the sunglasses emotion i, fly eagles fly. eagles team just so much fun to watch this season. >> it is. can't get enough of it. and they're having a good time on that field for sure.

in other news this morning, authorities in mercer country investigating after a home goes up in flames. now, firefighters rush to the 700 block of beatty street in trenton, this is about 10:00 last night. they arrived to find heavy smoke and flames pouring from the second floor. fire was put out a slotter time later. this morning there is no word on any injuries. landing in a pennsylvania state prison on probation violation. meek mill getting high profile visitor. >> al sharpton will visit at the correctional institution in chester where we find " eyewitness news" reporter, trang do, trang, good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning, joe , rahel. that visit is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, the reverend al sharpton in the latest of core of celebrity to meek mile over excessive harsh send ten, they include rapper and mogel jay-z and former quarterback and activist colin

kaepernick. the reverend al sharpton is visiting meek mill as president of the national action network. a civil rights organization. criminal justice reform is one of the group's main platforms. on november 6th, judge denise brinkly sentenced the rapper whose full name is robert williams, to two, four years in state prison for probation violations on a nearly ten year old gun charge. that sentence has spark a national debate with a host of celebrities and hundreds of supporters rallying for meek mill's release in the past few weeks. one wealthy supporter even paid for billboards to bring attention to the cause. while supporters say the punishment far outweighs the crime, de tack tours argue that meek has been given several chances to stay out of trouble, and he hasn't been able to. in the meantime, the performer remains at the medium security state prison in chester. at his request, he's in the general population. officials moved him to chester earlier this month, from a prison in cumberland county,

where he was in solitary confinement, due to his high profile status. >> sharpton is expected to speak to the media following his visit. we'll have the latest on that at 5:00 and 6:00 tonight. for now live in chester, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news," joe, rahel, back to you guys. >> thank you for that live report. >> police have identified the suspect shot by officers on saturday night. investigators say, lynch pulled out gun and pointed it at officers as they stopped a group of men he was with. it happened around 5:00 saturday evening on the 100 block of pennington avenue two officers opened fire, hitting lynch. he's in serious but stable condition. lynch charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses and resisting arrest. mercer county prosecutor offers is investigating the shooting which is standard procedure following a the shoeing involving an officer. >> police still looking for three men after a disturbing home invasion in south philadelphia. now, the incident happened on early yesterday morning, in the 2100 block every oakford forward street.

a 67 year old woman told officers, three mask men came into her home, had he held her against her will, while searching the house. and then reportedly pistol whipped her physically handicapped son. now the son's girlfriend was shot in the knee. both are recovering. police do not know if anything was taken from the house. they're still investigating. in southwest philadelphia, three year old remains in the hospital after shooting herself in the leg. now her father and grandmother are facing charges. police told "eyewitness news" the toddler shot herself with 40 caliber glock handgun she found in the bedroom of her south bolden street home. police say the gun was her father's and 64 year old grandmother allegedly hid the gun and cleaned up the scene before calling 911. >> medics arrived, they believe responding to nothing but bleeding or rem raj call. they finds the three year old child on the bed, bleeding, medics trying to determine what actually happened inside the house, the grandmother is not helping at this point. telling us she didn't know.

>> the child is currently in stable condition at children's hospital, while doctors try to save her leg. authority say they will likely charge the father and grandmother with endangering the welfare after child, wreckless endangerment and tampering with evidence. >> and police say the death after man and woman along i95 appear to be the result after murder suicide. officer responds dollars to the i95 onramp to woodhaven road saturday night around 5:30. thirty-two year old maria chew lynn chew and 60 year old david lynn chew of south philadelphia found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. his wounds appear to be self- inflicted. >> congress back in washington today after the thanksgiving holiday. reports there are plenty of issues on the docket this week , from tax reform, to immigration policy. >> president trump back at the white house, tweeting sunday, that he has possibly done more than any ten month president. on tuesday, mr. trump meets with senate republicans to talk taxes. it is an issue the gop wants to get through the senate

spend more of our monday that i they won't cover for us when we get home. >> good news, officials say some international flights have resumed, airlines continue to assess the situation, some flights have been rerouted. the volcano's have spewed some 4900 feet into the sky. >> impressive site, there kelly. >> it is. tad talking sunshine across the delaware vale. let me start you out with live look at center city, just beautiful start to the morning , dry start, see plenty of sunshine leading into this afternoon. but a little chilly out there. let me show you some of the numbers across the region. it is 42 degrees right now in philadelphia. we're in the upper 30's down the shore in atlantic city right around 44 degrees in wildwood, at 37 in trenton. thirty-four in allentown right around 31 degrees in mount pocono, a little bit of winds out there. anywhere from about five to 10 y 11 miles per hour out of the west now in wildwood. so that's yelding a little bit of a windchill factor out there. okay, it feels more like the

mid 30's, in philadelphia, so don't be surprised when you step outside. feels more like the 20's up in allentown, 20's mount pocono, feels more like 29 degrees also in reading. heading throughout the day, we will be warming up very nicely by the noon hour, 50 degrees. as we led into 3:00, tons of sunshine, very seasonable afternoon, with a high right around 53. now, yesterday was kind of on the cooler side of things, at least it felt as much. and that was thanks to trough, or big dip in the jet stream. that's now pushing on off. a ridge is moving on in. which means the jet stream pushing up to the north, so as a result, we are filtering in some milder air headed into the next couple of days, talking high temperature of 57 on tuesday. and 62 degrees as we head into wednesday. for today, very seasonable afternoon as i mention, you can look for high temperature right around 53 degrees, with generally sunny skies. now, take a look at your eyewitness weather seven day forecast, 57 by tuesday, as we warm up very mild on wednesday our next chance for rain isn't going to arrive, you guys, until friday. so we are going to stay dry
