advantage of a helpless person >> at 6:00 here's is what happening a neighborhood asking for justice after a senseless crime, a homeless man beaten to death, and tonight police say they are looking, for the group of teenagers responsible. good evening, i'm ukee washington. i'm jessica dean. tonight we are hearing from that victim's brother. "eyewitness news" reporter joe holden is live at police headquarters, joe, what can you tell us tonight. >> reporter: jessica and ukee, good evening, we know kevin cullen, man beaten was father judge yad wait, and, lasalle university. his family say he was a good guy down on his luck and eyewitnesses say sunday night that group of teens was heard running from the scene saying we got him. crime scene tape, the loan reminder on have what happened sunday at, this street. >> i don't want his story to be untold. >> reporter: until neighbors stepped up. they posted a modest memorial for kevin cullen.

>> they killed this man. i mean, you are bashing someone's head in the wall so hard that i can feel it in my bedroom, it is revenge. >> reporter: five teens, attacked cullen man neighbors and family had no permanent home. he often slept behind a local bar. >> i mean i didn't know it was kevin until i just found out. >> reporter: distraught over brutality those who knew kevin were shaken. >> and my dad, and my aunt always buy new sneakers and everything. i called my dad and i said it is kevin. he was just devastated. >> reporter: police took two people in for questioning and released them. >> still working on making identifications on everybody involved and bringing them in. >> reporter: break for detectives, one of the teens left something behind at the scene later found by a witness >> maybe this is one of their phones. next thing we know it starts ringing, instagram live, that was one of the guys phones. >> reporter: neighborhood is now sorting out disturbing details of a vicious beating.

>> sad to see what this neighborhood will go to. >> reporter: cullen's family described him as a man who got swept up in hard times. >> drifting in and out of our lives last 10 years. dad passed away 10 years ago. he really, kind of a downward slide since then. >> reporter: we are told that police did get that cell phone , they have it in their custody, again a significant slip by that group of teenagers. this could tie all of them together in this crime, again as you heard from captain john ryan they are still working to identify each teen who was caught on surveillance video. now this neighborhood will hold a vigil for kevin cullen, that would be tomorrow night at 6:00 o'clock in the spot where he died, late word from police they are not going to comment on whether this was a intentional robbery or these teens, and, intent to kill this man, community loved him, kevin cullen. for now that is latest live

outside philadelphia police headquarters i'm joe holden for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". chester county officials have released identities of the four people killed in the massive fire at a senior living community. delores and thomas parker, million yesterday gad i and teresa malloy were all residents of the barclay friends in west chester. they died in the november 16th fire. their remains were found in the ruble last week. investigators have not said what caused the blaze but four victims died of smoke inhalation, 27 other people were injured. philadelphia police are investigating a deadly crash involving a woman on the bike and trash truck. it happened around 7:30 on 11th and spruce street. the 24 year-old bicyclist was kill. police say trash truck driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. in delaware a car strikes a man near a popular holiday lights display, "eyewitness news" reporter henry rossoff is live in bear tonight where some are concerned about safety in that area, henry.

>> reporter: lights are not on yet tonight but looking behind me get a general sense how big this light display can be when all lit up, quite popular. what you have is a lot of pedestrians meeting, busy, fast cars on red lion road and that proved to be a deadly combination for one man. >> i just left work at 8:30. >> all i seen was a lot of red flashing lights. >> i seen the man on the side of the road laying on the side have the road and it looked like he was covered with the jacket. >> stuff like that. >> reporter: it happened friday night six two-year old man from massachusetts was hit by a honda civic crossing red lion road just up the block from this elaborate christmas lights display put up by home owner each year. he suck toppled to the injuries this weekend. >> they went to see christmas lights and didn't expect anybody to die, it shouldn't that be way. >> reporter: delaware state police are investigating the death as an accident one daniellea quinn was expecting. >> i thought this would happen a long time ago.

"eyewitness news". an 18 year-old woman is fighting for her life and she and a 18 year-old man were hit in trevose bucks county by a pick up trum. it happened across street road near philmont avenue around 8:30 last night. police say driver described as a black man in his 30's, stopped to move both victims out of the road, before fleeing the scene. police are now looking for a two tone older model, ford f 150 similar to this one with a ladder rack and damage to the passenger side mirror and headlights. six former ridley hockey players have been charged with assault stemming from an attack during a march playoff game, these are five of those teens, brooke anderson, nathan dunning, ryan greek owe and thomas plots. the sixth player was a juvenile at the time. montgomery county judge said video shows a coordinate add tack against player from central bucks west at hatfield ice, two central bucks players were so badly hurt they could
