we are looking at fiery results of the police chase on i-95, we will tell you where it began and have an update on the teens written side this car. and this shadowy figure that kept neighborhood on edge has been finally caught, authorities in florida say this is the face of the serial killer, find out how, how officials tracked him down. today is wednesday november 29th i'm jim donovan. i'm rahel solomon. katie and meisha keeping an eye on things this morning. >> happy hump day. we are looking outside, there was an accident and then we had an accident.

spot where we have dropped off but it is a minimal change, mount pocono, 19 degrees milder. how does that reflect on the thermometer? still at 41 degrees. not as harsh but still warrants winter coat, we are at 52 in atlantic city. it is pretty close where you would be topping off anyway for daytime high but here's where we will end up, 63 at the shore, and hit at 52 degrees in philadelphia once more that breeze kicks off and you will notice it. >> katie, thanks very much. very good morning to you. looking outside 95 south at cottman coming around that s curve we are looking good. i will say we are looking just a little bit busier, more of a jump start today then what we were seeing yesterday, something to think about? maybe in the right new but make a mental net but coming up we will see how this morning progresses, yesterday got busier on the later end more in the 7:00 o'clock hour. we are looking at 42 same story here as i-95 picking up

volume just a little bit we have construction crews on the westbound side of 76 closed between south street and vine, just a head up on that and take a look at eastbound side left lane block and we are building levels there as well. then we have an overturn vehicle in garnett valley, and valentine drive if this is your neck of the wood stay clear. if you can give yourself extra time. then we are looking at construction on the pennsylvania turnpike in the next 10 minutes, jim, back over to you. thanks, meisha. more on our breaking news college student shot and killed on the campus of drexel university. >> lets get out to "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at the scene in university city, trang do, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, rahel and jim. police say this started as an argument between a couple and ended with the boyfriend shot three times in the chest. police rushed here and rushed him to penn presbyterian hospital where that 24 year-old man died of his injuries. it happened here on this street a very quiet stretch of

lancaster avenue on drexel university's campus, but here's a look at the scene overnight as officers block off to investigate what happened here, just after 11:30, drexel and philadelphia police responded to a report of the shooting on the 3400 block of lancaster avenue. a 23 year-old woman and boyfriend were walking down the street as they were arguing loudly. that is when another man armed with a gun and permit to carry decided to intervene, police say he then shot the boy friend three times in the chest. >> still interviewing witnesses and trying to gather as to what happened, what caused these three individual to come together and what caused the individual to fire that gun to fire. so homicide division will be taking over the investigation at this point to make a determination as to whether a charge will be filed. >> reporter: we're told woman is a student at drexel but her boyfriend was a student at a college in new jersey, meanwhile, the shooter, he was

not a student but being questioned by police, so far, no charges have been filed, for new we are live in university city i'm trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news", rahel and jim, back to you. >> thanks, for that update, trang do. a pair of the 16 year-olds are in stable condition following a car chase and fiery crash near the airport. this is view from our traffic camera. chase began in tinicum township when police spotted a stolen car and then continued on i-95 north nor 2 miles when the car eventually crashed through the airport in philadelphia. well, search for a hit/run driver continues this morning after a deadly crash in trevose bucks county this happened on treat road near philmont avenue just after 8:00 monday night. the driver hit two teenagers, stopped to move them to the side of the road, they be took off. last night 19 year-old jeff curtz died from her injuries. her 18 year-old boyfriend will van arsdal suffered minor injuries. police say they need public's help to find the driver.

police in tampa florida say they have caught the serial killer responsible for four murders. a string of slayings that has kept the city on edge for almost two months. >> we will be charging four counts of first degree murder for howell emmanuel donaldson, the third, 24 years old. >> reporter: officials say they received 5,000 tips throughout the investigation, but it was one during the day yesterday, from a co-worker of donaldson that led to his arrest. >> we received some information about mr. donaldson having a firearm at the mcdonald's, one of his co work's approached the police officer, and that is what led us to that report report four people killed, were all shot within a half an hour in the seminole heights neighborhood, and been walk ago loan with no apparent connection to one another. >> tonight is the beginning of when justice will be served

us it is not that rare for snow to fall on hawaii's mountains. learn something new every day. we're not talking about snow around these parts, quite the contrary. >> absolutely. climate is so different on that side of the world even just in the pacific north west , you have those ridiculously tall hundred tane ranges compared to our whimpy allegheny and lower highlands, you just don't get same came of climate schemes as you what would you find and ample moisture to move over an island. understood they will pick up, some snow out of. that here locally you said it, there is no snow in sight for us anytime soon. rather our temperatures stabilize toward more typical territory and we are off to a quiet start. wind is still pretty light. i don't expect it to stay that way, however as we overlook the parkway library and very quiet, so quiet, i only see one car. that is only one car out there right now. very tranquil beginning to the

morning and beautiful too. elsewhere, we are looking at quiet weather as well, it is all clear overhead in most of the northeast. here's a pocket of wet weather , this is a very moisture starved front crossing through but this is a front that will pick up wind, and then knock temperatures back toward more realistic values but for now we will still have the opportunity before that cross toes warm up very efficiently which you will see. another front also working its way from the west, this is next one in line like wrapped fire with these front next couple days but they don't bring with them any major impacts wet weather-wise. we will see a couple showers late thursday night and we will get to. that here's front number one, a veil of included cover and that peters out completely. yes, net is breeze through midday especially but that is it from that front, temperatures drop. here comes next front temperatures are in the dropping enough to cause snow to break out. we only expect overnight thursday and friday a couple of rain showers at war so even

today looks gorgeous. we have nice dry roadways, and helping us out a little bit however we are not completely problem free. we will get to that in a second. quick peak at i-95 around the airport looking nice, in delays, if we hear anything we will let you know but just moving around there everybody traveling around nicely at posted speed, quick look at the vine, westbound side looking great, eastbound side we are looking quiet, overall we are looking good. we are looking at this construction on the schuylkill westbound still closed between south street and vine, eastbound side also is affected having left lane blocked and that has been since cleared, and westbound side that we are waiting for crews to move out and opened that up, and then that will start to slow you down in the 5:00 o'clock hour, and you will be, of course, first to know. we have an overturn vehicle in garnett valley, concord road at veil tine drive just a head up on than. that we also have another accident in plymouth meeting, german turnpike at 476, again, just heading out there right now would i say avoid the area
